Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hit the burger spot for sure! They have a great variety of interesting burger options, plus the option to make a burger however you like. I got the Bella Bleus and my husband got the BLT Burger with an egg, and both were very delicious. The fries are good, kind of like a shoestring fry; we tried their housemade spicy ketchup and loved it! Aaron was our server and very nice and helpful. Plus, on Mondays they do but one burger, get $5 off a second, so that was a nice surprise on the bill! Will definitely be back next time we're in STL!

Stopped in for lunch with my brother. The menu had a lot of combinations to choose from, but we decided to just prepare our own order. Order form allows you to pick the type of meat, bun, toppings, cheese and sides. Our food came out relatively fast and hot. We enjoyed the burgers, and also ordered some hot pretzels and cheese, which were delicious too. Service was okay.
This place is sort of hidden away in an older residential neighborhood in south St. Louis, so you might have difficulty locating it. Use your GPS for sure.

One of the top 5 burgers in my life. So many options, it was tough to pick just one. I had the burger of the month, several other customers who’d clearly been there many times were ordering it almost to a person. Interesting topping combos all around. Great fries, decent fraught beer selection.

I took my kids for a couple day trip over break. I had seen Stacked was highly rated and the burgers sounded amazing. Ordering drinks I did not see the list of sodas on the menu, my fault but I was so busy studying the burgers. The waiter acted annoyed when I asked if the had coke or Pepsi products. Then seemed more annoyed I did not know the brand of local soda they had. That could be a clear sign we were not from there and it was our first time going. Did he bother to ask, nope. But he did and super friendly with a table that showed up after us. Burgers were fine. Yup I said it they were fine but nothing special. My son had the wet something. It comes with those small fried onions, super soggy which made them gross. The cheese sauce is gritty. Mine had some pineapple sauce but tasted like a regular burger. The homemade chips were good. He also looked at me like I was dumb when asking if they had a sauce to dip them in. He recommended two things and I said oh they sound so good you can pick which is the best. I am not picky! I just wanted to try what he would suggest. He was seriously annoyed. I always like to see if they have a favorite of something. I did not think it was asking too much. Just wanted his opinion. Disappointed that we drove that far for it.

We stopped by this place for a burger after reading reviews on this app and it was great! My wife had the brisket nachos and I had the Bella blues burger (the best blue cheese burger I’ve ever had). Service was great! My wife and son were even commenting on how good the condiments were. Highly recommend!

We were seated promptly. We enjoyed browsing the extensive wine/beer/cocktail menu and food offerings. We had a pretzel appetizer with the mustard and also the cheese sauce. Both were quite complimentary to the pretzels. We really thought the pretzels were prepared well. We ordered burgers and were so pleased with the broad selection of additions for the burgers. They were both prepared exactly as we had ordered and were huge! We both had the hand cut fries and they were so tasty. I took half of my burger and my fries home. We will be back and we’re so pleased with our meal!

My family of 3 paid a visit to Stacked on a Saturday afternoon. The service was excellent! Our server was very informative and nice. The burger was HUGE! It was perfectly cooked, very juicy. My daughter and I built our own, but my husband got the very popular "En Fuego" and it did not disappoint! I was jealous I didn't get the same. I considered the Big Kahuna (hence the title of my review for all you Pulp Fiction fans out there.) But changed my mind. The guacamole on his burger was verrrrry tasty. The fries were good but the homemade chips were my favorite. And our appetizer of Fried Pickles were some of the best we've ever had. A neighboring table had ordered the wings as their appetizer and we were quite jealous we hadn't done the same because they looked so meaty, and smelled so good ! We will return next time we visit StL!

Stopped at Stacked on our way through STL. It is a little bit of a hidden gem in that it’s a bit buried in a residential neighborhood. Parking would probably be challenging on a busier time of day. They have a solid selection of craft beer along with a small, but creative menu of mixed drinks. I had the “Trippy” burger and my partner built her own burger. The burgers were absolutely fantastic! We both had the natural cut fries. They are thin and crispy and delicious! They could use a touch more salt when they come out of the fryer. The spicy ketchup at the table is sooo good! It was great on the fries. The service was prompt and friendly. We’ll definitely be back to this local gem.

First visit to Stacked STL, met a friend there for lunch on a Thursday around noon. We were seated at the bar, and our service was very friendly & attentive. The staff was constantly hustling between the kitchen & the tables, managing the flow of arriving customers to help keep the kitchen prep on track.
The bartender (Karli B) helped us choose our burgers as rookies. I had a 60/40 (ground beef/ground pork) Hay Stacked burger, which featured a large dollop of house-made onion dip (adding some moisture & a unique flavor to the sandwich - while requiring several napkins). My friend was very happy with his En Fuego burger & sweet potato fries, but he somehow managed to save room to thoroughly enjoy a cakey wedge of brownie topped with Serendipity premium ice cream & caramel sauce. We both left full & satisfied, and we would return to Stacked STL.

Fun & funky vibe. Amazing service. (Shout out to Rene!!!) Out of this world food. Ordered The Goat burger with fries stacked with Parmesan & herbs and Wakey Wakey burger with house made chips and the apple pie bites with vanilla ice cream. We literally give all of the food 5-stars & will definitely be back the next time we’re in StL!!!

There is free street parking in the area. The restaurant has full bar service and a few televisions. I received excellent service and my South City Salad (chef's salad) was excellent. COVID-19: Employees were masked and customers were expected to be masked when away from their tables. The tables were well separated to assist with social distancing.

By far the best burgers in St, Louis, Always cooked to perfection. Heaps of options, tasty sides and did I say the burgers were awesome. I like mine Medium Rare and most restaurants over cook. NOT HERE. My friend likes his well done...and he gets what he wants. Love it. Staff is super friendly, all are good but highly recommend Kim.

Friendly place located in a neighborhood. Definitely local owned. Artistic thought out recipes. I would recommend medium as medium well was just a tad bit dry. I think medium would’ve fixed that. Burger had good flavor and the cheese sauce was delicious. The brioche bun was the perfect bun to hold everything in place for a burger that big. Fries were very good and bonus they had a spicy ketchup that was good. My wife had a salad with her burger and she said the sherry vinaigrette dressing was a keeper. Will go here again.

Balsamic doesn’t belong on hummus. It is a burger joint with ground chuck meat. What is ground chuck meat? Well google tells me it is mostly fat. It’s a cheap alternative so why does it cost $15? If you don’t want the chuck meat the alternative is vegetarian. Nasty.

Service was a little slow but definitely friendly. Burgers and sides were great. Was especially pleased with the applesauce, and that the restaurant offers a few local craft brews. Warm and cozy inside and easy street parking. Our favorite meal of our recent trip to St. Louis.
