Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located in the Hyatt hotel which is so convenient for those staying there like we did so we loved the fact we came off the elevator right to the restaurant after a long day of sightseeing it was perfect location for us. We were seated right away. It was quite loud when we were there, but it is a bar and not a fine dining establishment so we just sat closer to be able to talk. We found the food good, prices fairly reasonable for a ‘hotel’ restaurant. Mahi tacos (2) with a side for $15.95 chicken strips $14.95 (5 of them) and a side. Beware there is a food state tax and a city sate tax that is added onto your bill.

Are you here twice on a recent visit to St. Louis. Good both times. Excellent pretzel appetizer. My cheesesteak sandwich was delicious, with a tasty bun and very filling. French fries were good. Wings as an appetizer were good also. Friendly service. Believe Andy was our server and he was a nice fellow and very efficient. A friendly female server, whose name I have forgotten, was also very good.
Good bar food, and certainly a place to relax. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

It was a good place to grab a quick dinner! The cheese curds appetizer was outstanding, as well as the pulled pork! I have taken a star away from the rating because - the toasted beef ravioli tasted frozen and the Philly cheesesteak came on an un-toasted bun. Also, all the food was a little pricey for what it was. I probably wouldn’t return, but not disappointed that I went.

Horrible food and experience. I accept that restaurants still have a ways to go to fully recover from COVID impacts. I get that. Its hard to hire staff. I didn’t mind the 1.5 hour wait for our food. What I couldn’t stand it that the taste and quality of the food was so horrible when we finally got it. Everything tasted like it had an entire contained of salt dumped in it. Simply not edible. What was worse is we pointed this out to the server and he didn’t offer to remake the food or anything. Horrible. I will not be back.

had a cobb salad and. glass of wine. so far, so good. asked for bread twice. was "served" a slice of dried-out or stale white bread on an aluminum tray of some dubious heritage. was astounded to see a charge for $2 plus tax for one slice of anything-but-fresh white bread! looks like a place to drink beer, no bread included.

3 Burgers w/fries, 2 sodas, 1 pretzel + tip = 100 bucks. Burgers and pretzel were good. Fries were those seasoned fries you bake from the grocery store freezer case. You can get the same food for just a bit over half the price inside the nearby Gateway Arch.

We went at about 2:30 in the afternoon. Very few eaters. We were seated promptly. All main dishes are in the $20 range. My wife had the impossible burger, and she said it was delicious tasty and moist, with yummy fried onions. It was too large to eat with your hands. I had a fried chicken sandwich, and it, too was excellent, tender and moist. The burger buns were very tender and tasty, and the french fries were some of the best we ever had. The sandwiches were large enough to justify the nearly $20 price. Service was prompt. We definitely feel we got our money’s worth.

My husband had the burger and it was huge and cooked just right. I had the grilled cheese. I found it greasy and most of the cheese was outside the sandwich. Lots of fries but they were not really hot. Would have sent them back but the sandwiches were big and that’s what we really ate. Service was good. Not crowded either.

Visiting St. Louis for work located in the Hyatt hotel. The menu seems super limited. I tried ordering quesadillas, they had no sour cream or guacamole. The pretzels which were amazing , did not have the spicy mustard to go along with it. Instead I receive two dips of Queso. The grilled cheese and bacon was a bit extra on the end burnt cheese but it was delicious nonetheless. The chicken tenders were fried a bit hard. I would not run to this place, as it seems like regular bar food .
My server, was very nice and knowledgeable of the area.

I chose the restaurant because of the good reviews and the location.
Unfortunately, the Brewhouse did not meet my expectations in any way.
I was greeted by a somewhat unmotivated employee. The beer ($7) was served in a plastic cup (the restaurant is part of the Hyatt hotel)
The ribs were very firm and difficult to separate from the bone. The RUB tasted strange (personal opinion)
The cole slaw also lacked a little pep.
The only bright spot was the waitress, who was friendly and helpful - thanks again to the young lady.

Don't let the name fool you. This is just a generic hotel bar that tries to pass itself off as something unique. We went here for drinks after arriving to St Louis. The entire place is very sterile and average. The chairs were fairly uncomfortable. Their beer selection was okay with some local favorites but that was the highlight. Service was fine. This place just wasn't anything special. Definitely better places to go to in St.Louis.

Great drinks, awesome food, decent prices! Pulled pork sandwich had a bun that melted in your mouth--awesome flavor. Hubby had the prime rib philly sandwich and it also was amazing.

I hope our experience was abnormal. We ordered salsa and guacamole and pork belly potato skins for apps. The pork belly itself was great. I think it was bought from a jerly store and put on the potato skins that I'm pretty sure were generic frozen potato skins. The chips and salsa were ok. The guacamole wasn't guacamole. Not by any stretch of the imagination. It was more like Salsa Verde. For entrees, we had a Brisket Prime Rib. Cooked to perfection. They did do a wonderful job assembling it. Hot, soft bread, gooey cheese, onions just starting to caramelize, and all the flavor of air. The ladies split a BLT. They rated it a 4/10. The drinks may or may not have had alcohol in them, I'm not sure. The service, however, was excellent.

We ate dinner here on 7/25 and 7/26/24. The restaurant is part of and in the Hyatt near the Arch.
We found the food ranged from very good (Caesar salad, pulled pork sandwich, loaded potato app.) to OK (fried ravioli app and philly beef brisket sandwich (very salty).
Service was good both nights.
We would eat here again.

I am so glad I found this place. The pulled pork was excellent, and the vanilla porter might have been the best beer I have ever tasted! Our waitress was perfect too. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm visiting St Louis.
