The food was yummy and the staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the Alumni burger and the Steak sandwich (Phillycheese steak with cream cheese) with their homemade chips. Your meal is served with homemade rolls and biscuits (apple butter, raspberry butter, and butter). We were surprised...with a molten lava cake in honor of our anniversary. They end your meal with their homemade mints that were really good and are available for purchase. We did not have reservations but arrived at 11:00 and only waited 15-20 minutes. Reservations are recommended. Check out the store at the Keeter Center and grab a map and drive the beautiful property. Menu is reasonably priced and is worth every penny.More

We have been going to Branson for ten years and had never eaten here. Trout and meatloaf meals were excellent. Lunch and dinner menus were the same. We were not able to get lunch reservations checking 48 hours early but did get the 2:30 slot....Jake was an excellent server and we did visit with him about his college experience. Rustic decor with good view from our table. Social distancing was observed. Bring your Christmas list. Nicely displayed student made jams (we bought two gift sets plus some for us) and candles were available as well as other items.More

We came in to eat at 11:15 am on a Monday. We had three adults and two small children. We were told the wait would be an hour to an hour and a half! The dining room clearly had room for us, but they were...unable to seat us because we had 5. One child was a lap child and wouldn’t need any room. I asked for a table for 4 and the hostess refused. It was ridiculous and embarrassing that they would do this. My husband is alumni and his grandmother is a donor. Very upset with this place.More

We were there for the holiday Buffett. It was great, hickory smoked prime rib, ham, turkey, all the fixings, breakfast side had an omelet bar, eggs and cheese, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, salad bar, dessert bar. I could go on and on and on....Service was great, Gaby was polite, respectful and timely. We can’t wait to go back. There was a 30 minute wait for Sunday Buffett, dinner reservations are recommended, make them 72 hours in advance or it may be a 2+ hour wait. It is worth it.More

This place is without a doubt the best restaurant in the Branson area, bar none. We had a fantastic lunch here on a Friday, and then returned on Sunday for their brunch. The fried chick lunch was absolute perfection. The return of their Sunday brunch...was a welcome change. There is such a variety of food, most of which is perfectly prepared. We are already planning a return visit for next spring.More

The food at this place was amazing! It smacked of fresh homegrown resources. Real food for sure. The service was also amazing! the setting grand and majestic with those huge floor to ceiling Montana grown ponderosa pines. For a cozy, comfortable, and most appetizing experience...Keeter Center is the place.More

Pretty dang good food and top notch service. My wife had the meatloaf filet and I had the pork belly/shrimp and grits. Fried green tomatoes for an appetizer plus a salad for me and corn chowder soup for my wife. Great atmosphere! Will definitely come...back if we are in the area.More

We enjoyed 3 meals at Dobyns Dining Room while staying at The Keeter Center Mabee Lodge last week. On Thursday, our server was Luke from Haiti & he did an excellent job. My husband ordered from the Veterans' Week special menu. He got roast beef,...mashed potatoes & green beans. I ordered from the regular menu & got Cajun Pork Chop with carrot whipped potatoes & green beans. All meals include yeast rolls & cranberry biscuits with student made apple butter, strawberry butter & regular butter from their creamery. On Fri, we enjoyed a mid-afternoon lunch - ordered the Reuben sandwich & the Alumni Deluxe burger with fried. Our biggest & most delicious meal was their famous Sunday Brunch. It was so good that words just can't describe it. At noon, the student servers stopped service long enough to gather in front of the fireplace & sing The Doxology for us. WE HIGHLY recommend Dobyns Dining Room & their excellent student staff.More
