Mediocre food and service today....

Very slow service. Bartender who waited on us at our table only came back once to check on us after someone else brought our food out. German burger tasty but small portion. The place was not very busy so no excuse for the slow service and slow food out as well. Would probably not return if in town.

Food was ok. Nothing was a standout. Typical bar food. I was looking for some great flavors and they just weren't there. Chicken pot pie was mostly gravy. Very little veggies or chicken. Fish tacos okay, not a lot of flavor. Rib special was again ok but nothing to write home about The service was excellent.

No doubt the best deal around. Fantastic and hot burger and icy cold beer with a great selection. Service was great and friendly. Never disappointed.

Bad food

We were at Luce Line in Watertown on 11.11.2024 around 6:00 sitting at the bar, 2nd floor was shut and the bottom was about ½ full. I ordered the potato skins which I have ordered before several times in the past and asked for extra cheese and crisp bacon, 37 min later I received them and my husband and I looked at each other the bartender asked if something was wrong and I lifted one on the potatoes up and split it in half they were so well done the cheese had dried up nor was there any cheese. I said they are way to done for me and the bartender stated she can remake them, but it would be another 45 min or so, I mentioned usually when it is a remake it is done right away, she said not here. Needless to say I didn’t want to wait for another order. The bartender left and came back and said by the way the owner is in the kitchen and said my meal looked just fine, I said so he must be calling me a Lier the bartender walked away. When the bartender came back with our bill, she said I took the potato skins off of your order, I said well, I would hope so since they were bad and sent them back. We will never go back and I love social media!!!!

Don’t eat here

If you want to eat at 6, come at 3 to put your order in. Understaffed is a understatement! It took 20 minutes to get a server to take our order and 45 minutes to get our food.

Was busy, but worth the wait!

Stopped here on way back from MPLS Auto Show. Was plenty busy. Plenty of items to choose from on the menu! Waitress Tiffany was fast and friendly. Food took awhile, BUT was worth the wait!!. We were stuffed when we left.!! We will be back!!

Great Quality Food - Friendly Service

We often come here without the kids for a late Sunday night dinner. Last meal of surf and turf was very good! Baked potato, jumbo shrimp, and a slight red steak. All very good. Sunday nights are generally slower so quick seating and good service. I also had some of their soup of the day that was very tasty. One of the legitimate restaurants in Delano/Watertown area that is fairly reasonable. I would strongly recommend!

Nice, airy space; two stories high inside. Food is above average. Fries are thin and very crispy, almost like shoestring potatoes. Fish tacos had LOTS of fish, freshly grilled--nice! Good service.

Worst Food in the West Metro

We've been coming here for years. It's been a great family location to bring kids, friends, etc. The atmosphere is perfect for a small town. It's relaxed, clean and kept up very well. However, it is evident that they have been cutting corners on their food quality, and their execution of preparing food. It truly is a shame that we must now write this place off. We went on a Saturday night around dinner time. We haven't been for about 4-6 months, but all the previous times we've had to wait. This time there were only three other tables taken. We were awe struck by the fact there wasn't a wait as there always seems to be a short wait, if not trying to find an open table...for years it's been that way. While waiting for our food we saw a couple near us come in, eat very quick and leave. One of them had a hamburger and it was the neatest, most perfect, thinnest patty of meat I've ever seen. Clearly this was not a homemade burger, but one that was frozen and as thin as a McDonald's hamburger. It's a shame because their hamburgers use to be good, but never have I seen something like this that it stood out as "that's not fresh". I ordered the special. Cajun Chicken Pasta with veggies and chicken. Sounds yummy right? Thinking this will probably be good because the rest of their food is typically good I ordered it in anticipation of it being something tasty. Well, it showed up and I wondered if I should ask for a spoon. The pasta was floating in pure red liquid. The chicken was brown, not white. Each bite I had to shake off the liquid as I ate the pasta not covered in anything. My wife and kids ordered the flatbread. It came on a small salad plate. The cheese looked like it was microwaved and not oven baked as it was so pure white and melted, and no bubbly cheese that was somewhat browned on top. The sausage on the flat bread was not fresh and looked like cat food. My wife commented about it was one of the worst sausages she has ever had. One of my kids had the kids chicken nuggets with fries. The fries used to be these crunch, rippled type fries. Now they are thin McDonalds style. Four meals, all were horrible. Even the beer mugs went from tall to being short and wide. There's been a major shift at this place. The shift is to push people out the door and not return. Four horrible meals, no one around on a Saturday night. The proof is in the pudding...or shall I saw the pasta soup. Too bad, because this place used to be good.

Nice place with lots of selection

We were there on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. They have a menu with lots to offer- sandwiches, salads, wraps etc. I don't recommend the salad bar, not a lot of choices. The service was very good and we were a party of six with 3 separate checks. She was great at splitting it up for us !

My wife liked her soup and I found their chili almost as good as some I have made. Previously we tried their flat bread (kind of like a pizza )they have a good sized menu a full bar prices are average, the food average to good, service the same.

Great town restaurant

You'll love the history of the LuceLine drawn into the bar of this hometown restaurant and bar. All types of seating from high tops to regular tables an booths. There is also an upper level. The menu has something for everyone. I love the French Dip. The sandwich is loaded with tender beef and the dip is so tasty. The beer selection has a great variety of both local and craft beer. The servers are hometown friendly and ensure a good time. Give it a try!
