Had an excellent dinner while being entertained by Mike Mr. Michigan Ridley. They ran out of prime rib but the sashimi, ribeye and hot fudge sundae filled the void admirably. Well worth the drive to get there.

We had a very good dinner at DLB. The walleye dinner and hamburger were very tasty. It is a busy place and I recommend making a reservation. Definitely worth a trip for a good meal.

This is yet-again a place where I really wish Trip Advisor would offer up half-star options. But I digress. First the good about the DL Bar and Steakhouse. The food is quite well-made (we split the eggroll appetizer, and each had their signature Steak Diane)....More

We ate here many years ago and loved the food. We recently went back again. We loved the wedge salad. However the planked whitefish was disappointing. It was served traditionally on a plank with the dutchess potatoes. It was a good size filet, but it...More

It's a shame that you were disappointed with your meal as we typically get rave reviews for our fish. We hope you will give us another chance someday.

Being an East Coaster we seldom find walleye available. Douglas Lake had it and prepared it perfectly. Just the right size fillet and with a perfect texture. My wife and friends had the planked whitefish which they also enjoyed. The hostess gave us a seat...More

Thanks for the great review. As you know Walleye is a Michigan/Ohio delicacy and the Whitefish is truly an up-north fish. We pride ourselves on the fact that the chef is very adept at their preparations. We're glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to...More

No there is not a dress code. Some people arrived by boat and were a little more casual than others. I think you would feel comfortable in any casual clothing.
