We go here every once in awhile. It’s always good. Great chips and salsa. Try the Topopo salad it’s very good.

We used to enjoy a night out at El Charritos but the last 2 times we made the trip there we left without eating. The first time they were closed, despite the door and their website saying they were open. There were no signs posted...for explanation. Tonight we arrived and waited to be seated as the sign indicated. A couple waitstaff looked straight at us and said nothing. Another couple arrived at the other door while we waited and were immediately seated at the last table available. Needless to say we will not return and will give the other Mexican restaurant in town our businessMore

El Charritos has all your typical Mexican fare, plus more that I had never heard of. Unfortunately, I did not try one of those. I may do so next time.

This is not real Mexican. Taco bell is better and I hate taco bell. I was not impressed and they are too high.

Always consistent and nicely priced. Good wait staff. They have some of the best chips and the salsa is always good. Give this one a try. We will go back for sure!!!

We've been visiting this and other off-shoot restaurants of various family members for years, and there is never any shortage of tradition and heritage. The housemade chips and salsa are fantastic. The seafood burrito dinner is a favorite. So is the combination wet burrito dinner...(three large burritos in your choice of chicken, seasoned ground beef or stew beef in any combination). You can get dinner and a couple of lunches out of it! The taco salads are huge, too. Bring your appetite. You will not be disappointed.More

Dine in or take out— we have never been disappointed with the food. We do a lot of takeout from this place at least twice a month, but dining in is a nice experience too. Food is made to order and comes out hot. Chips...and salsa are a must. Nice for a family night - kids menu is available. Choose a booth, table, or high top and watch some TV. Food is authentic. Deco is traditional Mexican theme. Relaxed kick back sort of place. No need to get all fancied up. I’ve gone in at lunch time and they had me in/out in no time. Dinner time is a bit busier... depending on the day and time you go, but we’ve never had to wait too long.More

I enjoyed dinner here on a Thursday night. Place was pretty busy for a weeknight. My very first visit to a Mexican restaurant was at El Charrito’s when it was located on Richfield Road nearly 40 years ago. We both had a single Chimichanga and...a side of rice to share. Mine was chicken with a brown sauce. My sister had seafood with a white sauce. The serving was a decent size and we took home leftovers. Price was more than reasonable. However, chips are not complimentary. You are charged. Service was average. No complaints.More
