They have amazingly wonderful soups and sandwiches. The variety of available foods can change each day. Nice to have variety. The owner is the chef and is on site.

We'd been to Bear Soup Deli a few times at it's previous location a few doors from the new one. Soups and sandwiches were ALWAYS excellent! Today we tried out the new one. Very cute, small sandwich shop as before, with a little more seating....You order at the counter and your selection is brought to you. Very efficient and quick, even though there was also a group of about 10 or so people they were feeding. My husband and I both ordered $9 "specials". He had the "Moon Bear Ciabatta": salami, ham, turkey pastrami, roast beef, provolone cheese, tomato, banana peppers, spicy mayo. Panini pressed. You can see why this one is $9! It was very good. I had the "Blue Bear": roast beef, pastrami, bacon, caramelized onions, fromage blue cheese.. Panini pressed. I didn't care for the onions, as they were too sweet, maybe cooked in a barbeque sauce, and overpowering the sandwich. Next time I'll order a "simpler" sandwich! Soups here are excellent, too! Try the Tequila Black Bean! The ladies' room was decorated beary cutely! Only thing not to like was that it was too warm on a humid, 95 degree day. I assume there was air conditioning that was not keeping up, maybe due to the high ceilings. All in all, a good place to eat!More

I had a club sandwich, my husband had a French Dip with Au Jus. Loved both. Coleslaw is not the creamy kind, which he loved. Beef vegetable soup was good, too.

We were told by friends we had to try Bear Soup Deli and we are so happy we did! Our sandwiches were amazing and we can't wait to get back there!

Food is tastes and all dishes always taste wonderful. Love to have lunch at this restaurant when every I visit downtown Davison the noon hour.

Bear Soup Deli is tucked into a small storefront in downtown Davison. From the outside it's hard to know what to expect. Well step on in, you are in for a treat. Delicious handmade sandwiches, soups and salads in generous portions. You place your order...at the counter and it is brought to you (if eating in). There are maybe a half dozen tables inside and some sidewalk seating in good weather. I love to meet a friend here for lunch. It is casual and comfortable. Not as cheap as fast food, but there is no comparison in quality.More

I just left here with my daughter, I felt like I was eating with my family. It felt like I was sitting at my mother's dinner table. The food was so good, the soup was light and flavorful. I will be back soon
