There were 12 of us getting together for lunch. I had never been there before so I was excited to try it. Some of my friends have been there a number of times and were telling me about all of the dishes that they have...had in the past visits. I decided upon the Farmers Omelette and it was fantastic. This place has been there for years and yes it's always good and the parking lot is always full especially now that Whity's down the road has gone down hill with higher prices, smaller portions and they think they are some kind of special place...because at one time they were. Not no longer. I have never had bad food, bad service, or bad anything at Appolo's. This is now the best place to get fish and chips in Davison.More
Apollo is always busy and popular with all ages. I notice a lot of senior citizens dining there, but also families and couples. Fish and chips are probably their most popular choice. We also have ordered the pork chops, but they had no flavor. Soups...are good, too! The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is very clean, with efficient service.More
Breakfast for dinner at Harle's favorite. Omelet and pancakes. Grandma had chicken dinner. Service was excellent along with the food. To go boxes for the leftovers. Clean and brite convenient to I-69.
My husband and I had not been to Apollo’s in a while. We had the Farmer Omelette and Rib Eye Steak for breakfast. It was very good. The omelette was filled and very tasty. The rib-eye was cooked medium rare and very flavorful. Service was...prompt and the waitress attentive.More
This visit probably is not representative of a typical one. We stopped in around 10:30 on Mother's Day morning. We waited about 10-15 minutes to get to the front of the to-be-seated line, only to be told it would probably be a 30-minute wait for...food after ordering. We'd made it this far, so we stayed. After being seated, our waitress said it would likely be closer to 45 minutes. Again, we were committed by this time. We hunkered down and people watched and compared placemats. Our waitress was wonderful! She joked and tried to make the best of the situation, even though she had to be stressed. She brought us a huge thermos of coffee, and she checked in often to see if we needed anything and to give us ETA updates. It was about 40 minutes for our orders to arrive, and our small party was quite satisfied. The over-easy eggs were perfect, as was the bacon (six pieces! which was probably a mistake, but I wasn't going to send it back). The toast was actually toasted. The gyro omelette was full and well proportioned with fillings, and the gyro meat was done nicely - not like shoe leather as some places do. My wife's French toast was fluffy yet nicely crisped and not overly sweet. After being served, our waitress returned a few more times to check on us. She earned a sizable tip that morning! We will return someday that's not the busiest restaurant day of the year to see how things go when everyone isn't running like crazy. Until then, I give them three stars for making the best out of a bad situation.More
Had I known it would take 40 minutes for an omelette and 2 eggs over medium I would have just left. Waitresses giving poor excuses to customers. Asked for a manager and was told none available. Second time I’ve been here and probably the last....Looks like a remodel took place recently but that didn’t help the service. Food was good and appropriately priced, just need to speed up the kitchen and teach your servers that the customer really does not care why you are slow, they just want their food.More

Met my son from college and his girlfriend for breakfast to celebrate their birthdays. The food was great and there were tons of choices. Younger kids loved the milkshakes and our waitress was great as well. Definitely going back.
Stopped here for dinner while passing through. The parking lot was full and it looked busy. A typical old style family restaurant with lots of booths. Saw a sign inside that showed it had been around for a long time. Lots to choose from the...menu. Nothing that really stood out though. Same with our dinners everything was good but nothing to rave about. A bit of the negative is the condition of the building itself, it did show its age and could use some freshening up. Service was good, priced right and no complaints. Really can't go wrong here but overall just average.More
