Excellent new (to us) dining option in Westford

My wife and I had dinner at Seoul Kitchen during a recent visit to MA. We're glad we tried it, because it was one of the best meals of our visit. Seoul Kitchen is located where the Westford Grill used to be when we lived in the area. (We liked to Westford Grill too, but Seoul Kitchen is better. :-) I made an online reservation on their web site (they use Resy). It was busy when we arrived, with people seated both inside and out (we sat inside). We were seated quickly. For cocktails, we each had a Mai Tai, which were very good. For appetizers, we shared the Mapo Dumplings, and for dinner, we shared the Korean Tacos and Kang's Chicken. All the food was excellent, as was the service (I don't recall our server's name). Prices were reasonable too. We will definitely eat here again the next time we visit the area.

Fantastic food, large portions, AND cool management

We love Korean BBQ, and were astonished to run into this wonderful place in a strip mall right off the highway as we traveled through Massachusetts. We sat outdoors, very socially distanced. Tempura appetizer had 4 large shrimp in a delicate batter served hot out of the fryer accompanied by tempura'ed broccoli and onions. Spicy pork bulgogi entree was absolutely enormous: could easily have fed two. I enjoy spicy food, and this dish was near my level of "chili tolerance": outstanding! We had cheerful wait staff, reasonably prompt service on a weeknight, and nice tableside stops by both the manager and, later, the young, understandably proud owner. Overall superb experience. We will make it a point to return our next time through the state.

A favorite local place to eat

The food and service is always excellent. Where there are a lot of great area choices for similar cuisine Seoul Kitchen offers more variety and quality. While it is family friendly they also have a great bar and entertainment.

Delivery and food experience

Well, I've always wanted to try it. So today I got an email from them. I would get 4 rolls of toilet paper ali g with a family meal. So I ordered it and some crab rangoon. First the food. The delivery person was list twice and the food was cold. We also didnt care for the food as it was overly greasy. In to the lead in. We got no toilet paper. I called immediately and got pushback. Saying you had to specify. No, it was part if the deal as sales were down. Then she asked if I wanted 2 or 4! I said the deal was 4. One hour and forty five minutes later, it finally arrived. So the tp laughter aside, I would never go to this restaurant or order again. Mistlybecause if the grease and dripping wet lettuce leaves. So, just no. Too much money for paper!

Underwhelming

Judging by how packed the restaurant was, we were hopeful that we were in for a great experience. We soon realized that this had more to do with a Saturday evening drinking vibe. The food was passable, but it's more of a take on Korean fusion, than authentic Korean cuisine. That's not necessarily a bad thing though, but I wouldn't recommend going there with the expectation of enjoying well-loved Korean dishes. Due to the crowd, we felt very rushed the entire time. The waitstaff were also feeling the pressure. Saturday evenings can be frenetic at best, but what I found inexcusable was that they had the next guests waiting right at our seats, before we had even gotten up from the table. To make things even more uncomfortable, the table was being cleared as we were paying the bill. The table was being sprayed with cleaner as we were getting up to leave, which showered us as well. What a shame, I was really hoping to enjoy this restaurant. The variety of items on the menu sounded promising. I think with a little more development and better management, this place could be a real winner, rather than a sports bar disguised as a Korean restaurant.

Almost like being in Seoul!

I have worked in Korea for 7 years and love Korean food. Typically it is very hard to find restaurants in USA that pay attention to Native style cooking. As soon as I heard that Seoul Kitchen makes their own Kimchi I figured that I had found a Winner!!! Every Korean dish that I had had has been very well prepared and tastes "right". The service is very good and the prices are appropriate. I wished there were a few more popular Korean dishes on the menu, like Galbi Tang, and Samyatang but perhaps they will be added later.

Excellent Food & Service

Always excellent! Tonight, both apps (Avocado Ball and Rib Eye Fries) were excellent as were the Korean Tacos, Pork Stone Pot Bibim Bop and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. Unfortunately, the Spicy Squid Stir Fry was not very good; the squid was very over cooked and extremely tough. 😕 Service by Sydney was excellent. Cocktails were priced fairly except for the Prosecco at $12/glass (small pour) which was over priced. Still one of our fav restaurants in the area!

A Korean Food Gem!

This was only our 2nd visit…after a three year absence. The time elapsed was because we felt rushed during our first (dinner) visit and were reluctant to return. But, we are glad that we did try it again! Although this was a lunch visit, we were not rushed at all and our server (wish we had gotten her name!😕) Wes EXCELLENT. The food quality and preparation is top notch and the portions are more than ample. The prices represent a good value! There is plenty of parking. We hope that the “not being rushed” extends to dinner as well as lunch… we will let y’all know!!

Asian fusion done right

Went here on recommendation from local family. They had a huge menu of sushi, Korean, and fusion options. There was exceptional service for our large party and lots of unique dishes. If you like Korean food this is definitely a hot spot for you. Reordered from every section and nothing disappointed! They also had tasty mocktails, non alcoholic, which is great if you’re the group’s DD or just want to abstain for the evening.

Great food

We love this place! Even the pickiest eater in our group was able to find a great meal. Don’t let the strip mall location deter your visit. Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and food.

Always a good meal.

We always have a great meal at Seoul Kitchen. Our server was personable and knowledgeable (Polly). The drinks were creative and well presented. We had a bunch of appetizers including the Avocado Ball (fun to share) and Dumplings with steamed soba noodles. We ordered the Yuk Gae Jang which is a spicy beef soup and the Kimchee stew - both made us sweat. The Tiger Wok Shrimp had a lovely sauce (not the spicy one). We passed on dessert, we were full enough. One tip - the high top tables are fun to sit at, but the stools are very high. Makes it tough to get up and down if you’re under 5’2”!

Seoul good!

Outstanding. We sampled many things; dumplings, Korean pancakes, sashimi, salads… all great! Service (Ally) super friendly and efficient. Restaurant was also clean and appeared to have a brisk takeout business. Highly recommended.

Birthday lunch

I had a birthday lunch coupon from them this week so went there today. Fantastic Wok scallops with lots of veggies and rice; excellent beef tacos for my Korean-skeptical partner. Sapporo on tap. Only criticism is the kim chi was pretty minimal. Good service. And the coupon was worth $20.00!

Pleasant dinner on Saturday night

It has been a while since we had a meal here. The location has changed, but not a qualify of food and friendliness of staff. We got a table outside on the quiet Saturday night. Had sushi, seafood and beef dishes. Just wonderful! Drinks as well! Great place!

Watered Down Korean Food
