Decent option for the ski area

Went here for lunch after our son's final ski lesson of the year. Food was decent - for the most part nothing to write home about (had burger, buffalo fingers, chicken fingers and wrap). However, my wife had the Meatball Parm sandwhich. While it was not quite as expected (it was 3 meatballs, each on top of a piece of crusty bread), you could tell the meatballs were NOT frozen and had been handmade/packed. They were rather tasty as well. Service was great as our waitress was a good mix of being there to refill drinks, but never felt like she was hovering.

Poor Service

Came here to meet a friend and was wary of dining here given the many poor reviews. View was great, pretty much empty at noon. Waitress took forever to come, ordered a glass of wine and looked over the menu. Waitress came again, told her we needed more time as we weren't in a hurry. Took 15 minutes for her to come back. I saw her by the bar showing coworkers something on her phone. "I guess you're not ordering any food" was her comment when she finally came back. Her attitude was terrible, so we decided to leave and go to Evivva in Westford down the street. Glad we did. Will not be back.

I struggled to give this place 3 stars. On a beautiful summer evening it was empty. I think everyone was at the Tiki Bar. The service was just OK and the food was as tasteless as possible. The shrimp cocktail were neither large nor chilled. The salad was bland. The only thing that bumped it up to 3 stars was the Clam Chowder which was passable.

Better than expected

My sisters and I agreed to meet here on a Tuesday night of February vacation. I thought the parking lot would be crazy, the restaurant full and just a less than great choice all around. It ended up being about 50 degrees all day and raining, so not so many skiers. At first we had the bar to ourselves. We sat at the bar and ordered wine and nachos (weird, but it worked.) wine was good, nachos were pretty good, and the service was excellent. I would go back.

Prime location, sub-par food

Inconsistent hours over the years and sometimes it is a seasonal restaurant. The food is consistent, not good. If you must eat here, the nachos are okay.

Anniversary dinner, chose The Outlook because we called to confirm that prime rib was on their Friday night menu. They confirmed that it was so, of course when we got there they said that it was too early in the season for prime rib, whatever that means. I had a side Caesar salad that had no flavor and fish & chips ($23) that had an "ale batter" that was an inedible grease-soaked mess.

Best views in town!

A warm and inviting lounge /dining area and plenty of good food to choose from Everything is delicious and we love sitting by the big windows that look out over the skiing. The indoor fireplace keeps the place toasty and the u-shaped bar usually has plenty of seats available.

Had to go twice!

Great views and great fun food, wine and beer. It was a fun place to go and prices are reasonable too. Ask for Linda - she was a great waitress.

It could be better......

I went there on a Saturday night it was 7:00 pm and of course we are expecting waiting time..... 2 hrs! Chaotic..... skiers all over you. I understand it's cold the restaurant it's in the ski area you will deal with ski people nothing wrong with it, but if on top of the mess you put live music God bless!!! After 10:00 pm the restaurant started to breath a little but it took 3 hrs! So maybe during the ski season avoid the weekend because it gets crazy!! The food was okay: burgers are good, fried calamari are too soft and very spicy my guess is because the skiers need to warm up!! We also got Prime Rib it was cooked good but a little too fatty but generous portion. The drinks are good plenty of wine in the glass but as I said: it could be much better......... For non skiers customers

Good place for a meal

This is a ski area, the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. They have a bar area and dining overlooks the mountain. Well worth the effort.

Overall Pretty Good - Great View!

Visited for the first time on a recent Saturday night when a special event was going on at the Nashoba Ski Valley so it was quite busy. We had reservations and were seated on time and our waiter arrived promptly. Drinks were served quickly but disappointed no frozen drinks available. We ordered Baked Fresh Boston Haddock with spinach and choice of potato – very good and ample portions. Burgers also very good – big and juicy, fries good. However, skip the Chicken and Ziti Parmagiana - not good at all, no taste, very dry. We did not even finish it. Service was good and friendly. Place was very large and open, but needs some updating. Big bar area, lots of TVs. Super view overlooking the ski mountain. Thought the prices a bit high for the place ($22 for fish & chips – really?). Overall pretty good and will probably try again when less busy

Ok but not a standout

The Outlook has quite good burgers and good on tap beer selection. As soon as you go to the higher end food choices (steak, etc.) , the prices are high and food not really worth it. The interior is really outdated and needs a significant refresh as well as a thorough cleaning.

Friendly Bartenders and Good Drinks!

We go to the Outlook a lot! The bartenders are friendly and quick. They are one of the few bars around that stays open past 10pm! They have good burgers, sandwiches, and desserts.

Decent burger and beer

Convenient place for dinner after the kid's ski lessons/practice - it's got all the usual burgers, sandwiches, wraps - the burgers in particular are consistently good. They usually have a nice selection of beers on tap as well.
