Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautifully revamped restaurant. Very quick and efficient server. Menu had many new dishes and the menu itself was artistic and pleasing and easy to read.
The food was attractively served. But my guest waited for a while before her bento box was served. I started with the avoxado, crab and mango salad. It was very tasty but you had to get a magnifying glass to seek out the crab and mango. Dressing was the prefect balance of acid and oil with large chunks of avocado. I ordered the duck bao buns. Perfectly cooked duck along with crispy skin folded into the fluffiest and lightest bao bun and dressed with hoisin, julienned cukes and green onions. A taste sensation. The beef teriyaki bento box my friend ordered was chock full of beef, noodles, a spring roll, steamed broccoli and maki. Lots of food for 12.99 that was fully enjoyed.

Awesome spot for Asian, you can get the traditional Chinese with rice dishes noodles, or hibachi which is rare. This Asian fusion is a wonderful spot and the sushi was wonderful with about 40 different choices and expense varied roles. Nothing better than spicy tuna crunch roll! Medium-priced dinner and drinks for 2 was 80 bucks

I ordered the chicken teriyaki luncheon box to go on a weekday.
The chicken teriyaki is not on a stick. I was disappointed to find the chicken teriyaki to be a bit dry and tasteless. I also ordered the Shumai, which didn't appear to have any shrimp in it. The hot and sour soup tasted like regular hot and sour soup, though.

Ordered soup, beef rice, pan fried ravioli to go. The pan fried ravioli was cold and dried out... soup was fair at best, the beef rice was mush!brutal food! I threw it away after several attempts to eat it

We went here for a celebration along with extended family. We had booked a table for all of us at a certain time, but when we got there had to wait for 30-40 mins for our table.
Eventually we were seated and almost everything we ordered on the menu was good, the hot sake was great too.
The food was generally dry, maybe they can clarify which dishes are dry and with gravy as the menu is extensive. And although the menu depicts images of the food, it does not show clearly.
We had a good time, it was really busy. The decor is nice and service nothing great nor poor.

Food is very good here, best I have had in a long time. Portion size is a little light in comparison to other Asian restaurants. This makes the food even pricier when combined with the higher prices you will pay here. Only complaint is the price/portion ratio. Everything else is spot on. If the portions were bigger or the price was a bit lower I would give a 5 instead of 4

I arrived for my second visit and was greeted by name. The manager came to our table to thank us for returning and proceeded to help us with our order. I’ve vowed to try everything on the menu, it’s that good.
First visit I had the special duck- sublime.
Second visit the fresh mango curry chicken-loved it.
Third visit it was all sushi. The Volcano Maki is a new favorite along with the Spicy Tuna Hand Roll.
Fourth is take out for my Valentines Date.
I love this joint. Highly recommend it. Where else does every server who passes your table asks if you need anything????

DONE with KARMA: The food was weak as were the drinks. The General Gao’s was bland and had minimal sauce. The Pad Thai was bland and maybe, had three pieces of chicken. The spicy chicken dish was unremarkable. Our Martinis tasted watered down likely from sitting in the shaker too long.

I like other food, but $32 for 4 thin slice of Salmon? Too expensive for me, but some people said worth it, not for me.

Absolutely love the lunch boxes. But sadly now served on plates. The portions have also decreased as their price increased to $12. Still good quality and flavor.

Yummy sushi, and usually very good service, but it was super busy so they were a bit slow to respond to our table. They just reopened so I think things will calm down and service will be great again the next time I go!

Spectacular new look on great Asian fusion eats and innovative cocktail menu. I’d recommend various cold and hot apps to start between a couple or small group. The lettuce wraps, Peking duck buns, tempura veggies, and spicy edamame were scrumptious. The stuffed eggplant main was world-class.

The restaurant was closed for about a year for renovation. Yesterday my wife and I went there for the first time after re-opening. The place looks great and was packed, and the waitress greeted us with "You're lucky there is a table free. Half-hour ago, people were queuing".
So what was our experience? We ordered (normal) Sushi & Sashimi for two and I had a cocktail. The bill: $100! The quantity was less then before the renovation - not to say sparse. We received the bill about 30 seconds after the waitress took the empty sushi plate back.
When I said we would like to order dessert, the waitress said "Sorry, we don't have dessert." I pointed to the fact that they had desert in the menu. Answer: sorry, but today we have no dessert. Wow! First time in my life that no dessert is offered in a restaurant.
I suspect offering dessert would slow down the customer throughput and prevent maximizing the margins, which would reduce the return on investment of the past year. The manager visited each table, which was ok. But overall, we didn't have the feeling of being valued as persons, but as payers. Part of their cost optimization appears to be hiring Asian personnel that doesn't speak English other then "sorry".
To conclude: too expensive, too little food, service friendly-minimal and not warm. Great interior. We will not go there again and are certain we won't be missed - after all, we were lucky to have a table last time. We'll rather stay loyal to the Korean restaurant around the corner: nice atmosphere, prices and quality good, genuinely friendly.

Some great twists in traditional Asian fare. Interesting flavors - I’ve never had a dish I didn’t enjoy. I love variety, so it can get a bit pricey, but it’s worth it. Great sushi and rolls. Love the soft shell crab and many of the seafood appetizers and dishes. So many selections on the menu.
