lots of plastic waste from this restaurant

My cousin and I ordered delivery from Okipoke for lunch, and overall, the food was tasty, but the price was quite high. I opted for the poke bowl with tuna and salmon and chicken. More than anything, I was curious why and how a restaurant would put chicken and tuna in the same salad. When it arrived, it seemed like just chipotle, but with fish and you could add whatever you wanted. We also had the spicy salmon burrito, which was fine, and came as ordered. There was a lot of plastic waste from this restaurant, and in the future, I would hope it would use more sustainable packaging instead of huge buckets of single-use plastic.

I go to The Okipoke for lunch and after my vacation to Japan, I was excited to use some of the newly learned Japanese - I got blank stares haha. Anyway, I love the simplicity of the meal. You can choose a bowl, wrap or salad and then add mix-ins. Be adventurous. Very fresh and the place is clean. I gave an average rating on service because the staff always seems a bit glum but that does not detract from the good food.

Decent lunch place for Japanese style custom-made sandwiches & salads

This recently opened sandwich shop serves sandwiches & salads where you pick out the Japanese themed meats (mostly types of fish & chicken) and toppings (different fruits & vegetables) for your meal. The sandwich they made for me had lots of my favorite Japanese toppings and flavors; so if you are a fan of Japanese cuisine and are looking for a quick lunch, you might consider this place. That said, I found the "Japanese burrito" sandwich they made (which looked like a sushi roll stuffed with all the rices & toppings I requested) tended to fall apart in my hands as I picked it up to eat it. I'd recommend instead that the same toppings be provided as a salad, which looked much easier to eat. There is also no dessert served; just the sandwiches and maybe some soup. Not intended for a more elaborate meal, this is mostly for a quick lunch when in the middle of the Westford shopping center.

Went there for my first time and I was very impressed! I had a bowl with white rice, salmon and spicy tuna. The selection of toppings was awesome, especially the seaweed salad and sweet onions. I can't wait to go back.

First Goxod Raw Sushi Experience

At Oki Poki, I tasted good sushi for the first time. It had the consistency of a marshmallow. The tuna was the most flavorful. Customers choose their own interesting toppings and mix-ins like at Subway. I do want to say, though, that the crab salad is imitation crab. The music and atmosphere is fastfood-like.

A fresh bowl of rip-off!

They have $80 and I have nothing. That’s not Oki! The OkiPoke in Westford would not honor an $80 gift card presented to them along with the receipt. Their gift card system is a primitive one that relies on employees hand-writing notes to each other on a paper card. What happens if they say they can’t read the amount hand-written on the card? They keep the money and you get nothing! I did not have the heart to tell the person who gave me this card that they just flushed $80 down the toilet. If you receive one of these certificates, you better treat it like your social security card! Laminate it, keep it safe from the wear and tear of a wallet, and make sure the employees who write on it have good pens and penmanship! Don’t give them any excuse to rip you off, because they’ll look for one! They had a choice: trust the customer and their own dumb system, or SCAM THE CUSTOMER out of goods/services owed to them.

Came for lunch. As soon as we walked in we should have walked out. This is NOT a restaurant, looks like a room with a cold buffet table and a few tables/chairs to sit and eat. Zero ambiance, decor, or anything comfortable about the place. But we ordered anyway. You start with rice, then choose a bunch of vegetables and proteins - all of which is tossed in your bowl. Nothing is warmed up or cooked beyond what you see in the case. No.

A welcome addition to Westford

I was beyond excited to try this new restaurant in Westford! I had just tried Poké (a traditional Hawaiian dish) for the first time last month while on a business trip to Portland, ME and was in Foodie Heaven! It was like a deconstructed sushi roll in a bowl. Mmm! They also can make a burrito-style Poké or as a salad, as well. Okipoké did not disappoint! The ingredients are fresh and tasty. You have your choice of sushi rice, organic brown rice or quinoa for your base. Your protein choices consist of tuna, salmon, shrimp, scallops, crab salad chicken, beef and tofu. Then comes your "mix-in's" that consist of a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits that you can choose. The seaweed salad and edamame are great. They have sauces to boost up the flavor points and end with toppings like wonton crisps, sesame seeds, tobiko, wasabi or pickled ginger to name a few. Portion size was alright. I expected a little more but was not dissatisfied completely. A small bowl (what they call regular and includes 2 proteins) was $11.95. The large bowl was $13.95 and includes 3 proteins. If you love sushi as much as I do, make a point to give Okipoké a go. You will be glad that you did!
