One observation I made during our two visits is that this place "happening". Expect a crowded parking lot (albeit, shared with the general store) and long-ish lines. Worth the wait. I've included a copy of the breakfast/lunch counter menu. Also notable that they serve Stumptown...More

We read the reviews about this place and decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. I ordered the egg sandwich with red onions, spinach, housemade sausage on a housemade biscuit. It was delicious. This is a great place to grab a sandwich.

We had good sandwiches at 7a ( like a tasty BLT and the chicken salad) but it was confusing to figure out what line to stand in-- particularly because those who wet waiting for their orders had no place to go and sort of made...More

Stopped in and had the house made pastrami sandwich and delicious homemade cookie. Could not be better, unless they had tables to eat.

Definitely worth the trip. A great place to stop, up-island and look around. Right behind the store and across from the Field Gallery.

A hidden jewel that the locals know. Huge ,unique sandwiches, soups and giant cookies. We split a Lew Lemon ,house made pastrami, cheese, Roquefort, even potato chips inside. The ginger molasses cookie made me turn around and go back to buy 2 more. Yummy

Had some great sandwiches for lunch here as we toured the outer reaches of the island. Sat outside and ate. Popular spot. Found the service to be a bit flat, but maybe the staff was just tired at the end of the season.

The best I can recall it was mostly sandwiches. We had the soup with bread. There were various sundries offered like a small gourmet store would stock. There was also Alley's General Store across the same parking lot that... More
