Jay and his wife were very welcoming and accommodating. Everything we had was fabulous. Three generations and all agreed it was the best food we had so far on our trip.
The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Every recommendation was fabulous. The cauliflower Gobi is now one of my favorite Indian dishes. Best place we ate in Boston this trip.
It is a very busy restaurant (I think the name changed recently from Barbeque International) and the food is fairly good. We ate in the restaurant. The plastic forks and disposable plates plus no tap water discouraged us to visit again. I believe it is...focussed more on takeout so wouldn't recommend going here for dinner.More
At first the place didn't seem like much but the food is really good and fairly priced. Furthermore, the staff is welcoming and friendly. We went twice and would go again if we happen to be in the area.
As euphonious as the street name and one of the food choices, so as inviting and welcoming will the venturer into the Himalayan Kitchen find the food itself and the spirit of the staff. The Palak Paneer pizza contains the texture and verve of the...Indian continent within the context of the Italian “orchestra” in which it resides. The available outside seating on a pleasant early summer evening proves very refreshing. Directly across the way, on 42 Summer Street, sits an air bnb, the interior redesigned from a former church. The exterior of the church quietly presents its original visage. Even more splendidly the Himalayan Dumplings smoothly and confidently make their tantalizing presence known. How nice to hear, during a brief pre-departure chat with one of the chef-wait staff, that she herself had composed the Mo Mo dish.More
I’ve been here twice now and food is always excellent and customer service is incredible. I went last night and the kitchen forgot to include one of the things I had ordered. Jay offered to have it delivered to my house and ended up including...a couple complimentary desserts as well. The friendliness and service was greatly appreciated and I will definitely be going back.More
Tried this place for supper last night. Largely a take-out place, but there is a small section with tables and chairs for maybe 15 people to eat in. And oh, what a feast! The menu has a large variety of foods from the Himalayan region..., and are cheerful and helpful in explaining what's what without making you feel like an idiot. My friend and I chose different offerings that included goat meat. Both were tender and well spiced. The accompanying rice, and bean dishes, were delicious, some with a little heat. Portions are generous -- one dish could easily serve two people. I will certainly be coming back to this place, and recommend that you give it a try!More
