Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The chicken wing and chicken fingers was really good. The people there was really kind. The choose own combo is a really good deal.

Usually this place is good. But they must have changed hands again because I got the most mushy, sloppy food I've ever seen in my life. Not to mention they sent half the order wrong.

We've only had takeout from here, but the food is always good and delivery is prompt and friendly. We've tried others in the area but keep going back to Lucky House.

That's about all I can say good about this establishment.
The ordeal began when I arrived at the restaurant. I had ordered and paid for a take out meal online. When I arrived at the restaurant some fifteen minutes later they picked the order off of the printer and started cooking it.
As I sat in the sparsely appointed dining area waiting for my order I was treated to the spectacle of a very elderly Chinese man arguing extremely loudly, in presumably Chinese, with a younger anorexic looking Chinese girl. The yelling continued as the other woman in the store tried taking a telephone order This all went down as the dubious looking open kitchen prepared the order in record time.
When I got the food home it was a major disappointment. The roast pork chow mein was served in a strange flavored red sauce. The strips of pork in the chow mein were tough and chewy.
The pan fried pork dumplings were fried on one side only and doughy and relatively uncooked on the other side.
The beef teriyaki was tough and stringy.
At least the roast pork fried rice was good.
I will not be returning.
Note: The address is actually 22 Central St, not Canal St.

This place is where the Great Wall was. Very top quality to the pits. We had a delivery for five people. Spicy eggplant, which was on the menu, they said was no longer on menu. Dumplings were all sold out. Spring rolls we ordered were greasy egg rolls. Pad Thai was unrecognizable, it was so bad. Nothing had much flavor. The "chef" needs a culinary overhaul! They also called to ask us if we would go outside to get the food from the delivery car. Did not do this. This was a big NO. Sad, but it was supposed to be a "thank you" for some people. Just horrible. NEVER AGAIN!
