I love pizza. I never realized how much I loved Italian pizza, until I discovered Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Littleton, MA. These guys rule the pizza landscape around here. Their coal (wood) fired pizza oven turns out a crunchy crispy crust that is always perfect. Their wings are outstanding, salads always fresh, and the pasta fagioli soup is incredible. They always have a good beer selection that we love. It does rotate, so you get some variety. Wines are good too, decent selection and tasty. All that said, Littleton has great service all around. Since our first visit, with Jess, we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The bar staff is the best. Very friendly and super attentive to getting food, or another round. Dana and Brianna have always been really kind and excellent bartenders and servers. I can say this with confidence, as my wife worked in restaurants and bars for 30 years, and she knows a good bartender or server when she experiences one. They do a great job taking care of us. Highly recommend Anthony’s (acfp.com) if you’re in the area, or passing by on I-495 it’s worth a stop.

The restaurant itself looked tired and in need of a makeover. Tables were extremely close together and people passing to get to rest room had to walk sideways so not to hit other tables or patrons. We ordered the dry rub wings, classic Italian salad, a few meatballs and pasta fogioli. All dishes were very tasty, hot and deliciously seasoned. The meatballs were the size of a baseball, tender and moist and served on a puddle of bright red sauce with a side of fresh ricotta cheese. Triangles of rosemary focaccia was served with every dish. Great for dipping in the sauce. The soup was perfect. Great flavor and consistency and chock full of ditalini, beans, pancetta and broth. The chicken wings were moist, flavorful and finger licking good! The salad was fresh with garbanzo beans, celery, egg, tomato and cukes. Perfectly dressed Italian salad with simple oil and vinegar. Very satisfying meal with leftovers. Would recommend for delicious food but not so much for the atmosphere.

Our first time here. We went in on a sunny Sunday and sat on their beautiful patio. We were waiting for 2 other guests and our waiter came and asked if we wanted drinks. I asked for drink menu. He said "Don't you see the QR code?" I said I would like to see a menu instead. He replied "I guess I can see if there one somewhere in the back" He came back with one and we ordered drinks. He got the order wrong. He left to fix it without taking the drink orders for other two guests who were now seated and waiting. He did the same thing when ordering lunch. We had a question on one of the items and he left and asked questions about that before taking the rest of the orders. The food came out in starts and fits. A lunch salad, a few minutes later a chicken entree and then a solid 10 minutes later the pizza for the other two who were sharing. The wings were cold at that point but we all went ahead and ate. The food was very good. Our waiter did come back to check on us, and he was nice enough. Either he's not good at his job or they have not trained him well, but either way, the experience was greatly diminished by poor staffing. I know it's hard to find people now, but it really did make us question if we would go back.

The place looks great and the decor is nice. but the food not so. The pizza was crispy around the edge, but the center was hardly cooked. I could have put the middle of the pizza in a bowl and had it as soup.$45 for a burnt and raw pizza and two sodas just doesn't cut it.

What they advertise is what you get, a well done, coal oven pizza. They do it quick and get that right. I had the chicken wings for the first time and was impressed with the taste and crispy texture. The onions served with the wings were tasty. My grandson had the meatballs and liked them enough to order some to take home. Service could have been better. There are many young, not so experienced staff. The waitress got my order wrong. (I let it go). After we finished eating it seemed to take a very long time to get our bill. The only other thing they need to do is pay attention to cleaning the bathrooms. I have eaten here many times and the bathrooms are always dirty. Management should assign staff to clean several times during the day and pay particular attention considering the times we are experiencing.

We stopped for dinner after a busy day of sightseeing around Cambridge/Boston. Pizza was good, although “coal-fired oven” doesn’t have to be another way of saying the crust will be burnt to a crisp in spots. Beer selection pretty limited if you’re not a fan of IPAs or light beers. The service left something to be desired: we were seated immediately on the lovely patio, but no one even brought us cutlery or water or acknowledged we were there while people who came in after us already had drinks & appetizers. After about 15 mins one of our party actually went inside to ask if we could get some service—never had to do that before, ever! The waitress who had been serving every other table around us came out a few minutes later to take our order—she was very apologetic, which was nice at least, but frankly didn’t make up for the wait after a long day.

This Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza also had very good chicken wings for lunch. I had the "dry rub" wings, followed by a chocolate cake for dessert. Both were tasty. Service was good at this restaurant located just off I-495.

We ordered through Uber Eats and were very disappointed by the quality. The pizza had the sauce and toppings just dumped in the middle and it was overcooked with burnt crust. We also ordered wings, which were ok. The cannolis we ordered were not included in the order. We’ve eaten here before but this experience was very disappointing.

We stopped here for a quick break and had an awesome pizza. The location was easy to get to from the highway and easy to get back. The outdoor seating was comfortable and the staff was attentive. It was a green t experience.

I ordered takeout online and arrived when it was supposed to be ready. There were only a handful of patrons in the restaurant. As I came in, I noticed a staff member pushed out two containers of takeout food. The hostess saw me coming in, but took her time acknowledging my presence. Her demeanor was unfriendly. When I told her I was there to pick up an order - she told me quite firmly that it would "be a while" before it was ready. I was going to point out the two containers of food I had observed, but she seemed absolutely certain I would need to wait, and I got the feeling there would be a hostile response. Because I have an immune-compromised family member, I was wearing an N95 mask, and chose to wait on the terrace, in full view of the hostess. During the 10-15 minute wait, no other patrons came in, and the hostess, who seemed absorbed in conversation with the bartender, made no attempt to see if the food was ready. Eventually something made her pick up the two containers of food that had been sitting there all along. I made eye contact with the hostess after she bagged my meal, and she beckoned me in a harsh manner that seemed to convey the message "I am not coming over there to give you the bag." It took me maybe 90 seconds to walk to my hotel room but the food was room temperature when I unpacked it. I have run multiple companies during my career - this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. I would have fired that hostess on the spot.

This plate came out and I was seriously thinking, “what the hell is this?” I ordered the chicken parm with fingerling potatoes. It was one half of the chicken breast which was the smallest I’ve seen, fingerling potatoes... should of stated “potato” I’ve eaten here three times and all have been eh... this time was just awful. First time the soda machine was broke and the food was over spiced. Second time the food was lack luster and the server was rude. But maybe this time will get my coworker from picking this lace to eat at. I know I won’t go.

Place is small and very friendly staff. Pizza was just ok. I found nothing in the food to wow me. Waitress did get our pizza order wrong but we didn’t say anything. It was a bit pricy for just ok pizza.
