Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The food here is pretty great and you can tell they are using quality ingredients. The staff is nice & friendly. I just feel like they could tweak a few things. There seems to be an air circulation issue in this place. There never seems...to be a happy medium temperature. Sometimes there's no background music playing. Seems like a silly gripe but it kills the atmosphere.More

First I ordered a half cut tea , I guess the unsweetened had been sitting for a while because it tasted rotten. So I asked for a water. Then I ordered a Hawaiian pizza , which to my surprise has no ham on it. So...when I called the waitress over ( they only had 1 working the entire floor) and told her they forgot the ham , she told me they don’t put ham on their Hawaiian pizza. So I had to eat a cheese and pineapple pizza. When I ordered , I specifically said ham and pineapple, she didn’t say anything about them not making it with ham. Not to mention the size of their large pizza is about the same size of a frozen pizza from the grocery. Overall it just wasn’t a good experience.More

The pizza was a nice change from what I have previously tried here in Kentucky compared to my former upstate NY home. The dough was soft and homemade, while the toppings were so fresh and plentiful--the first time I have had julienned sliced vegetables instead...of tiny diced ones on my pizza here. Definitely a cut above the other chain pizza places that have disappointed me--thank you Two Rivers!More

Had lunch with friends on Labor day around 6:00 pm. We started with the cheese bread sticks. OH my goodness were they good. Cheesy heaven. Next we shared the Two River salad. It had tomatoes, onions, cheese, croutons with mixed greens. The house made ranch...was delicious!!! I could of eaten it on everything. I had the BBQ chicken pizza on the Gluten Free crust. Nice that this hometown restaurant had this option. The pizza had BBQ sauce with big chunks of chicken on it. Next time I would add grilled onions on it. My husband had the small cheese pizza. The crust is chewy and very good. Service was spot on. Food arrived quickly and refills came without asking. Quaint atmosphere. Very cute decorations. Will be back for sure.More

Restaurant was virtually empty except for one other table of 4. Our party of 4 was seated right next to them which I thought a bit odd. The establishment seemed clean although as I am a fairly big size man, the booths are a little...cramped. Just an observation as we could have opted for a table. They apparently have several menu items that are not actually listed on the menu. They indicated they were still using an old menu version. We ordered cheesy flat bread, a calzone, pizza, hogey, and some sort of cheesy fried potato skillet appetizer. By far, the potato appetizer item was the best. It was a little small for a party of 4, but would be perfect for 2. It was very, very good. The flat bread, not the best I've ever had. Not horrible, just ok. I felt the same way about the Hogey, and my daughter did not care for the calzone. I did not try the pizza but they said it was good. Price point was what you might expect and with 2 appetizers ran us about $15 per person. I give it a 3 rating because I found that the combination of expense, atmosphere and food quality, it's just an average experience.More

Stopped in for a quick lunch of salad and calzone for $8. Good value. Dressings made from scratch! The dough seem fresh and hand-tossed. Toppings were a little light in the calzone which kept this from being a perfect 5 review. I will definitely stop...in here again the next time I travel through this area. Quaint comfortable cozy little spot with a couple nice craft beers on tap!More

Had the pleasure of eating at Two Rivers Pizza during their soft opening (after many, many months of waiting with anticipation), and it didn't disappoint, even with a limited menu. They've done a great job of creating an inviting, relaxing, and neat atmosphere to enjoy...as you dine on some fabulous Za. I enjoyed the lunch special which came with a small salad, and personal pizza with two toppings. The salad was really nice. Fresh lettuce, great ranch dressing, croutons, tomatoes, and red onion. It was a nice refreshing option to go with the pizza. My favorite pizza topping of choice is pepperoni and pineapple. The pineapple bits were a bit small, but still quite tasty. They're homemade sauce is also delicious and I am not a huge fan of pizza sauce. It was applied heavily, but still very, very good. All in all, Two Rivers is worth a visit and a much welcomed addition to the city!More
