The friendly and cozy ambience compliments the amazing pork! From ribs to sandwiches all is excellent! Sides are super. The manager sets the tone for the rest of the employees! I saw him take orders, serve food, bus and clean tables, empty trash, work the...bar, and all the while chatting up customers in a friendly, personal way that made you feel special! A great asset to the business!More

The Smoking Pig Tavern in Falmouth, KY is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The entire experience was enjoyable and memorable. My girlfriend and I were going to get chicken for dinner, but there were no chicken restaurants open in the...area. We were coming home from the Ark Encounter, so we decided to try the Smoking Pig. We were seated right away. Our server was amazing and very attentive and courteous. He was also quick and a good listener and he made sure we were both comfortable. The menu was small but we both found something we liked: we both ordered the baked potato with pulled pork. The wait time was not very long, and the food looked amazing. The flavor was awesome. We had 6 different choices of bbq sauce we could try, and they were all unique and full of flavor. I ordered the sweet tea, and it was perfect just the way I like it. It was karaoke night, which made it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is very rustic, southern and inviting. The entire experience of eating here was incredible, and I will definitely go out of my way to eat here again in the future. My girlfriend loved it too. The prices are very good considering the large portions you get. Thank you Smoking Pig Tavern for giving us an awesome experience. I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.More

Went on a Saturday night with the boyfriend. Got there early, so sat at the bar. The blonde hair woman waited on us for the majority of the night and she was never rude. We tried almost everything on the menu and wasn't disappointed. Some...I liked and some I didn't, but the boyfriend liked it all. Overall the food was good, the drinks were good, and the service was good. The boyfriend and I have been back many times since and have yet had a bad experience. I would recommend this establishment.More

My pulled pork sandwich and my friends’ chicken bbq was excellent. We enjoyed tasty, hot pork rinds and fried green tomatoes also. Fun place with the bbq aroma.

What a fantastic find so close to home!!! We chose to sit outside and the staff was so attentive and helpful. My sister and I shared the Pig Out Platter (chicken wings, pulled pork, beef brisket, pulled chicken, and three sides). Everything was absolutely delicious....My favorites were the brisket with the Carolina Mustard barbecue sauce (the Kansas City Sweet was great, also!) and the wings in Asian Ginger. I know we’ll be back!!!More

This is an amazing home cooked style breakfast. They have loads of options. Goetta being one that is sometimes hard to find. The food is really good unfortunately they only serve breakfast Friday saturday and Sunday. Pricing is a little high. They serve bbq foods...through lunch and dinner but after a certain time of evening it's not the place for children as it is a "tavern" style set up there is a bar.More

Following an exciting viewing of the Masters with my dad, we opted for lunch in a local establishment. My wife and I and my dad visited the Smokin Pig in Falmouth, KY. This spot is generally very lively on the weekends and a little loud...for my taste. However, on this pleasant Sunday afternoon, the venue was quiet and peaceful. Our orders were taken promptly by a friendly fellow who repeatedly called my dad "boss", which I found quirky and fun. The coke's we ordered were a tad flat by their own admission and it was suggested we order Coke Zero instead. Not a problem. We ordered potato wedges...best I have had anywhere. I ordered the dry rub wings, which were great. My dad had a bacon, cheeseburger which he enjoyed almost as much as the loaded baked potato and my wife had the brisket. All the meals were fantastic. The atmosphere is rustic and appealing. It leans more to the bar motif than family dining but at this time of day, perfectly inviting for folks of all ages. Price tag may have been a little steep for some, but for me, the food was excellent as was the service. Consider me a fan.More

Will be going back there soon, the wings are meaty and good, the onion rings are also great. I love the way the inside of the building looks.

Falmouth is hardly a hot spot for cuisine, and your options have been pretty much limited to McDonald's and a couple of unappealing local alternatives. This has changed with the opening of The Smokin' Pig Tavern. I've been there three times, and the food was...excellent each time. They've done a nice job with the venue, and it's a pleasant place to sit. There's a patio out back but I haven't spent time there. Service was great the first two times, but problematic on the third. I warned them ahead of time that I was bringing in a group of 15 people and they told me to come on in. The problem was that they had only ONE SERVER on staff, and the service was agonizingly slow despite that single server's valiant efforts to cover the dining room, bar and patio by herself. I'll remove one star from the five I would give because of this experience, but I'm going to cut them some slack this time. Maybe someone called in sick, or maybe it's because we're in that difficult restaurant season when the college kids have quit their jobs and gone back to school but the summer rush hasn't ended. This is a common occurrence in many restaurants. So I'll be back, for sure, to give them another shot. The food was too good to be petulant about one bad service experience.More

We were on a 175 mile run, and the Smoking Pig was our lunch stop....Thanks for accomiding our large group. I will visit again.More

Driving down 27 I stopped in Falmouth for a bite to eat. The place looks nice, however needs to be deep down cleaned. Table very sticky I had to ask them to wipe it. The food tasted a from the day before. The blond woman...was not very pleasant to the customers. Why I was afraid to ask to return my plate. Thankfully, I live far. I won’t be back!More
