Best Indian inTown

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area and in fact that I’ve had anywhere. Had prawn puri and Lamb Balti. Both were really good and all made with the freshest of ingredients and the lamb was so tender. Would definitely recommend.

A great set menu that’s worth trying.

Accommodated 6 of us on a walk in whilst we were out on a birthday celebration. Top meal and even make us a last minute cake, surrounded by ice cream. Made us a vegan Phall on request whilst we all really enjoyed there hospitality.

Great meal

We try most of the restaurants in this area and love it here. Nav, who usually serves us is polite, friendly and professional and knows how to treat people. They have proper table cloths and the prices are average. The food is excellent and we always enjoy our meal. There’s complimentary popadoms too!

We love this restaurant. The staff are so friendly and we are always made very welcome. People seem to be trying the new places that have suddenly opened for business, but for me I will always choose this one. Recently it’s a little quiet but the food is always excellent and to a great standard. Maybe a a couple of specials might help. Maybe a € 30 meal for two with a bottle of wine, popadoms and pickles, any starter, any main and rice or nan or chips. Maybe another offer popadoms, any main with nan or rice or chips glass of wine for less than the other. I think you’d attract more people. One at the plaza offers the first one above for 25€ but PUNTA Prima is in an excellent location and even at 30€ it would be a good buy! Just an idea. Keep doing what you’re doing. Thank you

By far the best Indian food in the area. Very friendly staff. Could not possibly say anything negative about the Taj Classic. If you are a big fan of proper Indian food do yourself a favour and get there for a meal.

Probably the best indian Restaurant in the area. Nice place, air conditioning (a must in summer), terrace. Excellent food.👍👌

Very disappointed

I have just moved to the flats above this restaurant and was told how good it was - very disappointing - I was there an hour ago and ordered a take a way. All the menus show a 4 course deal at €9.95 - poppadoms/any starter/any main with rice or nan plus a drink - I ordered a small beer whilst looking at the paper take a way menu. I ordered sheek kebab starter / chicken tikka masala main and a Keema nan - it arrived 10 mins later with a bill of €18.10 😲. Big shock and I asked why ? Waiter said the lunch deal wasn’t avail for take a way even tho it’s on the paper take a way menu and I should have asked for the deal and ate in ? This is crazy and although a stones throw from my new home, won’t be going back and wouldn’t mind but the portions were so small

Went here for a evening meal, food was lovely and very tasty and the staff all very nice , only one thing, not really a problem but nan breads need to be a little bigger, definitely be back tho

Excellent Food!

They had vegan options for me which were sooo delicious! Really good serving sizes and good value for money. The staff are super friendly and you can tell they are well liked within the community. Highly recommended! I didn’t try the dessert this time but I did notice there is a Coconut Ice Cream on the dessert menu which would be good for any other vegans out there to know :)
