Tried Woochi for a Friday night out. Dined on the patio - nice large space outside. Very large menu with a good variety of special sushi rolls. We tried a handful of the special rolls and enjoyed them all. Service was excellent. We even asked that our sushi be brought outside in two separate portions because it was a very warm evening and we did not want the fish to spoil - and we were accommodated with no complaints. Prices were about as expected. There is a small garden area adjacent the patio and we were even treated to a bunny foraging. Altogether it was a very nice experience. Will dine here again.

I've been here 2 times and was impressed both times. Many varieties of sushi, hibachi dishes, Asian fusion, teriyaki, and rice or noodle dishes. Must be close to 100 options. We were a party of 3 one night and a party of 4 the other night - got quick service, clear explanation of our choices, and regular refills on our water. Food was fresh. Seating inside and outside. Something for everyone.

The food here was so tasty and the portions were huge! Very inexpensive too. So glad we went! My one criticism is that the service was not good. Not enough waitstaff, I think. I’d still go back. I had sushi, hibachi and pad Thai. All great.

We decided to jump in the car for a spontaneous trip to South Bend and surrounding area. My friend recommended this place so we made a reservation and tried it out. The ambiance and food was fantastic. Presentation on plates was beautiful. It was crowded and I wouldn’t preferred more space between tables. That’s my only complaint. This was the perfect date night restaurant and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again if in town!

We dined at Woochi for the first time on Christmas night. The food and service were excellent and the decor was beautiful. Jason at the front host area is extraordinary and went out of his way to accommodate us. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

The food was fantastic. Oysters were flavorful. The volcano roll was the best sushi ive had In a while. The staff is exceptional. I don’t give 5 stars often. Great little place in South Bend.

Most unique restaurant in town. Better make reservations on weekends. Their drink menu is amazing. Not cheap things. But absolutely tasteful.

Rather disappointing! The staff was very friendly and the service was good, but the food was mediocre at best, especially for the price. Will not be going there again and I would not recommend it.

Good food here can be steep but great sushi overall, from someone who frequents Chicago often and gets very fresh sushi, Woochi offered fresh fish and good tastes. My significant other often comes here as well and he doesn’t really eat sushi so there are options for everyone!

We arrived for dinner on a Saturday night at 4:30 during restaurant week. There were still many tables, but as we were all over 21, we sat in the bar section. Our waitress (Luzy) was great, and did not mess up a thing. I had the Philly roll ($7) which is my typical starter just to see how the restaurant compares to other sushi places I've been. It was quite good, and better than the last sushi place I'd tried in Highland, but not the best ever either. I also had the Shumai ($8) to start, as I was hungry as a bear. It was also tasty to me, and I liked the trio of sauces I could have. My husband didn't like it however, so he just ate one. More for me! I also ordered the white dragon ($14), since I'd had it at the place in Highland as well, and it was good there. It was even better at Woochi! The big hit for me, however, was the "Amazing" ($16) roll. It truly lived up to its name. My daughter had ordered it last time she was at the restaurant, and liked it better the time before, so she let me eat it. And I was thrilled. So I let her eat the "Pink Angel" roll ($13) that we had ordered to share, and while I liked it, it was a bit sweet and dessert-like for me. She and my husband also ordered OMG Wasabi rolls ($14) which I wasn't thrilled with, but they both enjoyed, and a Dragon Roll ($11), which I didn't try but my husband liked. They also had dessert - Creme Brûlée Cheese Cake ($6) and Deep-fried Ice Cream (green tea) ($7), but my daughter complained that the ice cream was smaller than last time and that they had put some drizzle on it which she didn't enjoy as much, so she and Kev switched desserts. I just ate the whipped cream and raspberry coulee which decorated their plates, and that was yummy. We also ordered cokes, and my daughter had the Miso soup ($3) and tried to get two different kinds of tea, but they were out of both. Our total for the 3 of us was about $120 without tax, which is pretty fair for the number of rolls we ate. I was not expecting much, since we had been to the Mishawaka location, and I hadn't liked the fish there, so I ordered kind of safe. I would be more adventurous with my fish wishes next time now that I know they are good... Downsides, however... Hard to park in front (even though we were early) and a crazy person was ranting on the street to all passers-by as we left, so the neighborhood felt dodgy.

We were happy to enjoy a delightful meal at this restaurant on Christmas Day (when it's hard to find a place open for dining). The service was attentive and pleasant, and the food very good. Woochi is a good place for vegan diners, and the hibachi salmon was good too. We'll go back--even though it's on the expensive side.

I had a great meal here this past week while in town. Was able to grab a seat at the sushi counter and watched the two gentlemen behind the counter work their magic. I had some excellent soup and gyoza to start and then three different rolls. Everything was delicious and a great experience. I look forward to returning, thank you.
