Excellent Chinese food if you know how to order

This restaurant is my mother-in-law's favorite Chinese restaurant in South Bend; she's from Hong Kong, and can be very picky! But you need to know how to order, and if you want the food to be really Chinese style, it helps to tell them when you order. Chef Wu is an excellent cook, so if you want a great meal, it is worth talking to him (if you speak Chinese) or finding out what is fresh that day. Here are some of our favorite dishes: 鹹魚雞粒茄子 Chicken nuggets with eggplant and salted fish 脆皮牛肉 Crispy skin beef 椒鹽蝦 Salt and pepper shrimp 白切雞 or 貴妃雞 Sliced poached chicken, either for dipping in sauce or with spices 姜蔥龍蝦 Lobster with ginger and scallion (if available) 紅燒豆腐 Red cooked toufu (in soy sauce) 孜然羊肉 Lamb in cumin 乾炒牛河 Beef with flat noodles Their Taiwan style beef noodles in soup (台s灣牛肉麵) are also very good. Our families have been regulars; what better recommendation can I give?

Suddenly, I am in Vietnam!

Had the chicken pho, the pho satay, and an order of summer rolls. Everything was really great! The bowls were served with lime, bean sprouts and cilantro. Over the top! The rolls were some of the best I ever had! New were ther at 2 pm. The service was perfect! I love the food!

Best Asian food!

I grew up in California where the Asian food is authentic and amazing. I've lived in Indiana for almost years and this is the best Asian food I've eaten this side of California! I love the small but elegant atmosphere and the service is always amazing.

Terrific restaurant with extensive menu of varying Asian cuisines. Great choices for vegetarian and other selective diets. The service is excellent. On another visit they were very accommodating with reserving table for larger group.

We happened upon this restaurant a few years ago and return each time we visit South Bend. The menu is extensive and everything we have ordered is delicious. Good and quick service.

Hidden gem

We just had lunch here today. The food is fresh and the wait person makes sure your food is only as spicy as you want. Usually i get the orange chicken, which is my favorite. Today I tried pepper chicken, I didn't like it quite as well. Will try something different next time.

The Hidden Gem of South Bend

Get out of your comfort zone and experience the best that South Bend has to offer. This small restaurant in a non-descript strip mall has a menu that is pure, to the point and is what Asian food should be: crisp, comforting and flavorful. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes that never fail to delight. This place goes beyond the traditional Chinese restaurant. It offers a fresh alternative. The staff is awesome and never have I had a bad experience here.

Food is good and service excellent. Small place that is very friendly. The lemongrass chicken was very tasty. Their crab rangoon is good. Portions are large. Would recommend.

Ordered potlikkers which we shared with the 3 of us, followed by the CreAsian Noodle special and 2 other dishes. All were excellent and tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting. Service was quick and the waitress very helpful. Food value for money.

Very pleasant staff and helpful. The food was good and tasty and large portions. As a starter ordered pot stickers and the main course Mi Quang Noodles, which were excellent, curry chicken and pepper chicken. Service was fast and it was good value for money. Recommend this Vietnamese Chinese restaurant.

Good Pho!!

I was genuinely surprised to find a quality Pho shop in South Bend. I am from LA where we have plenty of quality Pho restaurants. During my visit, I was craving a hot bowl of pho since the weather was fierce. Their beef special pho had ample amount of fresh bean sprouts, basil, and jalapenos. Not only that there were plenty of a different kind of beef - tendons, meatball, thin slice of the flank. One thing I don't recommend is that you do a take out for the pho. I had to do a take-out since the kitchen closed at 8:40. It was a big mistake. By the time I got to my hotel (it took 8 minutes) my rice noodles were in one big blob. Otherwise, I highly recommend to those who are looking for a hot noodle soup in Southbend snowy weather. You will be content!
