Good evening diner. The pasta and the picanha was good, the desert, profiteroles also enjoyable. Service was good. The card has good variety.

Great menu with a few very creative items for each category. Great food quality and super service. Have tried a few good restaurants around here, but this is certainly the best.
Good tartare di Manzo. I really enjoyed the salad with two nice size rounds of goat cheese with some walnuts and sultanas. A bit of oil and salt with the tiniest drop of vinegar, small water cress like greens. Really nice with the tartare. Nice...red wine by the glass and half bottle. Service was attentive and kind and proficient. Outdoor dining across from the promenade. It was so pleasurable a couple of nights ago that I’m going again tonight.More
We had a wonderful dinner at La Tentazione at Verbania. Food was delicious, service was splendid. The starter arrived Quick and there was adequate time between starter and main course.
I should have read a few more reviews or simply trusted my instincts. Too many menus in multiple languages out front. Had hoped for more pasta choices but my selection was fine, short thick pasta with calamari and sort of clams with cherry tomatoes and...pistachios. My husband had the lasagna bolognaise which he finished off in no time. Wines by the glass were fine but nothing exceptional. But the service just didn’t seem to care at all. Nothing felt friendly. The tables were bland, the ambience was almost nonexistent. Nothing was wrong but nothing was right.More
Very good lunch and dining experience! Perfect service and the food is the best in town! Fish as well as meat!
Absolutely top notch in every way. The service was excellent, the presentation magnificent, the quality superb - really - really great experience. Can’t recommend enough - the food in Italy has been fantastic as we expected it would and we’ve enjoyed many great restaurants this...time around but this was my favourite. There’s one or two moderate reviews for this restaurant on TA and they may have had a bad day but our experience was 5 star.More
They falsely accused us for stealing a bottle of water. Twice. It was a very unpleasant experience. It turned out the waitress took it. The owner made his apologize. But too late sir. I would definitily not recommend this placeMore
Good evening, you had dinner with us two nights and we are really sorry for this inconvenience, we noticed our mistake and immediately came to apologize but unfortunately it is not everyone's understand that everyone can make mistakes. I don't understand why reviews when you're...More
just now I made a booking for a birthday celebration and spoke to the lady on the phone who informed me they serve vegetarian surprise menu. We arrived and sat for 30 minutes without attention. Not even a drink order taken. The dog at the...next table got a bowl of water - more service than we had. When we finally got some attention we got told that they only do fish or meat menus. 30 minutes wasted and rude service We got up and left very disappointed with no food or drinks. Don't bother going!More
I'd start by saying that on the phone she was told that there is some vegetarian dish on our menu, NOT the tasting menu. YOU from arrogant demanded a vegetarian and non-vegetarian tasting menu or alternatively only a tasting menu for one person when on...More
Thank you, fellow reviewers! We took your advice and were very pleased we did so. So many of the lakeside restaurants looked like tourist traps with mediocre meals so we headed for La Tentazione. A friendly welcome from charming waitresses was followed by a meal...if beautifully cooked and presented food. We went for the four fish dish and it was perfect. Desserts were also very nice. We’d definitely be happy to come back.More
Had a lovely dinner here while also staying at their beautiful hotel. Would highly recommend both. My partner had the risotto which was one of the best he’s ever had. I had the lasagne. For dessert we shared the cheesecake that was amazing!
Very friendly, even though we arrived an hour before closing. No fresh fish (we were late) but my wife had a delicious four fish entree. All cooked to perfection. The Chianti was excellent. My duck was a very small portion and dry. The raspberry sauce...it was to be cooked in (or so I thought) was in a little cup, not sufficient for the five slices of duck breast I got. (I have to admit - I am generally disappointed in duck entrees, but I am still hoping to find a restaurant that does it well). The couscous side dish was boring. The desert (cheesecake in a glass) was wonderful. 66 euro for 2. So, go! But order fish.More
good morning, thank you for your review. I am sorry for your comment about the duck, if you had mentioned it we would have done the remake of the dish, as regards the size of the portion being a second dish (not a main dish)...More
Pleasantly surprised - friendly staff, authentic Italian food, plenty of choice and reasonably priced wine - thoroughly enjoyable night. Recommended
good morning, thank you for your excellent review. we are happy you found yourself well and we hope to see you soon when you return to the lake!
Stopped off in Pallanza after a trip to Villa Taranto. Fabulous experience. Lovely sunny terrace on the square. Food was gorgeous. Service good and wine prices reasonable. Cod with Savoy cabbage highly recommended as was the veal with bacon.
Arrived after eight on a Sunday evening when they closed at 9 but were still given a warm welcome. The party of 12 locals at the next table were having an enjoyable if noisy evening. We shared a salad for starters then my husband had...the seafood spaghetti while I ordered the baccala -this came in a glass jar which I struggled at times to get out but very enjoyable. We finished with a tiramisu & cherry cheesecake for me -again nicely served in a glass jar + mint tea to help the digestion. Around 9.30 when we left but didn't feel rushed.More
