Green Garden is a good solid Chinese restaurant. The food is good, but just average in flavor, quality. They do have a lunch buffet that is very reasonable and a pretty decent variety. If your not too picky about Chinese and looking for a low-cost,...quick place to eat, this fits the bill.More

Often eat lunch here as they have a great buffet. Very reasonably priced. Eat here at least twice a month for last couple of years. Very friendly staff. Food always hot and plentiful.

We eat here whenever we want Chinese food, but what really won me over is when my husband and I were getting married. Obviously it was a small, more casual wedding, but we ordered over $200 worth of food and they did not need more...than an hour or two advanced notice, had it done on time, and it arrived hot and tasty! We've visited twice and both times, there are dishes that take forever for them to refill - even when it was called to the attention of the staff! When they are finally filled (took at least 10 minutes) the small tray was emptied within a...minute or two! The hot chili sauce bowl was left empty and never refilled. Hey, we're talking right at noon! Lunchtime! They seriously need to 1) use larger server pans and 2) refill empty pans! I've offered more food when I've had 12 people over for company!!! It's definitely a treat to come to this place. It's always been clean and the staff are friendly. Service is timely and always so tasty. I have stuck with this place over the years because I have enjoyed the satisfaction that this place provides.

We used to go here all the time when we lived here and loved it. The lunch buffet was excellent back then and so was the other food. I always noticed how flavorful their gravy/sauce was. We went here a few weeks ago after 5...years and noticed that the gravy was not very flavorful and the prices went up. It is normal for prices to go up after 5 years but the amount of meat in the dishes went down. You are paying for mostly vegetables. I was disappointed that they are skimping on their ingredients now and they were not years ago.More

Food here has been consistently good for over 25 years, but it's the fact that it is still owned and run by the same local family that gets my vote every time. They recognize my elderly parents by name whenever they make the trip in,...which really makes them feel good, in an era of anonymous chain restaurants. Our favorite is the egg foo young.More

We've eaten here and carried out many times; carry out almost every month, even a few times per month. The food is great. It's fresh, perfectly prepared, marvelous every time. Especially good is the pineapple shrimp, sautéed pea pods, ginger duck, Peking Duck, Dragon and...Phoenix, egg rolls, lo mein.........I could go on all day. Oh, the lunch buffet during the week is generous and outstanding. You've GOT to eat here. Lunch buffet is very satisfying to me, specially because I have a small appetite. My husband has a bigger appetite and this still satisfied him. There's Gen'l Tsao's chicken (just spicy enough, but not overwhelming) Sweet and Sour Pork, a beef dish, egg drop soup,...a beef soup, medium size egg rolls, wontons and a few additional after meal items (sorry, can't remember what they were.) Tea is served graciously at the table/booth included in the unbelievable price of $7.50. We go several times a month!!!More

We stop here frequently on our way to the Square, mostly for dinner. Lovely, efficient staff and good food- my favorite is Sweet and Sour Chicken. Tea is plentiful, egg rolls are good, and wait time is minimal. The staff always seems happy to see...you.More

As far as Chinese food goes in the area, it's not China-Town, but it's pretty good. Mongolian beef dish is solid, as are the sweet and sour dishes. The chicken with pan fried noodles was also very good. The chicken noodle soup seems to go...a bit heavy on the noodles. Always quick on a take out.More
