Quirky and cute! I love the interesting decor. A great place to stop and admire the artistic work, on your travels.

Finally after driving past this place many many times we stopped for lunch. I was not disappointed, fun quirky building/decor, great tasty food and service with a smile. Will certainly stop again!
Yummy food and beverages. We really enjoyed the quirky architecture and the art work all around. Will come back next time we’re passing through!
My Sunday go to. I love this place. Ahhhmazing staff, food is dam delicious & the eggs bene is my weakness - if you havent been, where exactly HAVE you been. Get it in your belly....!!
A great place to stop for a break on the way to Northland. The building is unique and unusual. The coffee was good and the food was great. Plenty of car parking.
Visited this quirky cafe in Kawakawa on our way north. Not a lot of inside seating but if you are lucky you might get a table. Plenty of tables outside if the weather is good. We ordered coffees and burgers. Delicious!
IGNORE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS. This is the most amazing place on SH1. A complete surprise. On our way to airport we made a stop in a wonderland of lovely quirkyness and beauty. If you love Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones or Fantasy...or just like unusual places this is the spot. It is beautiful and magical round every corner. The breakfast we had was superb and the staff were really friendly. We will make a point of going there when we come back to NZ again.More
We stopped in here on our way past as we had been recommended by family that it was a “must” if passing through. We arrived and it was raining constantly and although the place looks unique it was super slippery with the tile flooring throughout...and my toddler kept skipping over. There were only 5 covered spaces where you could sit, everything else was outdoors (and wet), and all seats were taken. I went to order and the staff sitting behind the counter just looked at me rudely, didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Eventually a nice young lady took my order, two small coffees takeaway, but it then took half an hour for them to even make them (they actually asked me what I was waiting for after my half hour wait). There were lots of other people cramped in the waiting area asking where their coffee was too. I’m sure if you’re not in a hurry and it’s not raining this place wouldn’t be quite so bad but my experience today has ruined it for me. I thought there might be more gluten free options but was only one gf brownie so if you’re going here looking for gf options I wouldn’t bother!More
The salad I ordered looks like leftover from last night . I understand it is not easy for the small business to survive after the pandemic, but it is much worse than I expected.
Absolutely appalling effort from manager and owner. Treated with no respect and a pity pastry to try and compensate for a bland meal with hair in it. Totally unbeatable due to it also being stone cold. I’m not one to judge a person on how...they look but when you are the owner of a cafe I would hope you present yourself better then the owner of Eutopia did. Her hands were Cleary dirty with dirt nails also - Her hair was not in a hair net and poorly tied up and to make things worse she as the owner was the ONLY one NOT in the dress code which I’m assuming is black which is what all the servers were wearing. I’m completely upset about this visit not even the amazing smiles, small talk and coffee between the front of house and servers could make up for the mess of what they call a kitchen.More
Would totally recommend Eutopia for great food and service in an amazingly unique atmosphere. Just so funky and beautiful! 👍🤗. It will now be our new place of preference for a bite to eat between Whangarei and Auckland.
A quirky spot with decor that looks like a cross between Gaudí and Lord of The Rings. It is worth stopping just for the decor however the food is excellent too. Prepared fresh and suitable for Vegan and Gluten free this is a popular spot....They have limited seating indoors but lots of outdoor seating and they do take away.More
Came for the cheese shop next door and found this wee gem. Some wonderful food, tasty and healthy, and good coffee. Friendly staff.
We sat in the sunny courtyard on a winter’s day admiring this lovely place. The food arrived and was all good! Definitely our new place! The soup of the day was so good, I just know I’m going to have the seafood chowder nek visit!...Loved it!More
Funky little eccentric cafe. Good food, fair prices and friendly service. We’ll worth a stop on your way through. Seafood chowder a hit
