Although arriving at the end of lunch service, we enjoyed a delicious pie, coffee and sweet. The service was friendly, helpful and prompt.

Fresh out of the oven; just set. Incredibly delicious. A lovely atmosphere to drink strong coffees and kick back for half an hour. Wonderful service

I usually head to Biancas next door, but thought i’d try here for a change. I ordered the cabinet ham and cheese sandwich (surprisingly $14.00!) and a $7.50 smoothie, which ended up coming premade (and not cold) out of a cabinet. Now that’s expensive.

I often stop here for a coffee and a snack on my trips north and have always found something delectable in the cabinet. So friendly from the behind the counter, always spotless clean in the restroom.

A Lovely quaint cafe on highway back to Auckland, beautiful home made toasted sandwiches and tasty unique salads, also a selection of muffins and biscuits, all served on antique crockery and cultlery. The owner also sells antiques and artwork, an enjoyable relaxing experience.

If you're travelling on Highway 1 about 1hr north (sign says 97k) of Auckland and just before Kaiwaka you must look out for Mormor's Cafe. It's so quirky you might miss it but it is worth the extra effort to find it. It's sat on...the south bound side of the road and if you get a chance just take 10mins out if your journey to drop in. They're reallr freindly, make superb coffee and have a truly fantastic selection of homemade sweet and savoury goodies you will just love. Don't miss this little gem.More
