We had lunch today at Spice Lounge, Kaiwaka. Food was delicous, extensive menu, including some europeann food if indian is not your favourite.
Overall every enjoyale.

A great stop on our way north. Delicious curries. Prompt and friendly service. Unfortuantely no alcohol being served because the duty manager was away. Thank you!

I stopped at this place for lunch at the beginning of my Northland trip. I had Pepper Chicken with some Butter Naan. Pepper chicken was really yummy! The wait staff was gentle and well mannered man with some good customer service skills. The ambience was okay, they have a good seating arrangement outside at their entrance. Would highly recommend this place. Cheers

A lot of the time we'd pop into this restaurant for dinner when passing through. I'd rate this place as probably the best Indian food around that I've been to.The staff are friendly, meals are a good size, spicy, tasty and are reasonably priced. Also the dishes have good sized meat portions not all liquid like some places do.
Nice to have something different also, so my best dish would be the goat curry and rice with the nan bread. Yum!!

We've been here a few times now and this is one of the best Indian restaurants. The food is spicy, tasty, with good prices and seem be more generous with their meat dishes than other places.

I've been here a few times, and the service seems to be getting worse, last time we waited over a hour for our food, the table next to us arrived a hour before us and got there meal only 10 minutes before us.

I absolutely LOVE the Spice Lounge & cannot recommend it highly enough. I live in Mangawhai & will, without a doubt, drive my family over to Kaiwaka for the bestest Indian food EVER!!! It is 1000000 times better than what Mangawhai has to offer

Best Indian restaurant i have been to for flavour and a small selection of European food, e,g ribs fish and chips.
I love Indian food, and the way that the spices linger and change like a good wine does, keeps me returning again and again.

Absolutley great food that we love. Its an awesome place to take the family the kids love it here and the staff are awesome with us all. They love the kids so its all good. the food is great and a good deal of variety to choose from .

Here I found good Indian cooking, quick service (most people buy takeaway here), nice personal and, if you stay and eat your dinner here it's a nice and tidy place with a green country view.

This is a very good Indian restaurant, for kids to grandpas. Meals can be served in the comfortable indoor dining room, or in the alfresco overlooking the busy road. Polite and friendly, the staff are welcoming and helpful.
