Atmosphere is basic. The food is always fresh and expertly cooked to order. The staff is friendly and quite competent. Get there early if you want a drink at the bar. I have never waited more than five minutes to be seated with a reservation.

Fuji is a delightful place to have dinner. From the cheeky chefs creating "Mt. Fuji" volcanoes out of onions and cooking oil, to the homemade sauces, to the amazing quality and amount of food, you will enjoy your visit to this restaurant. Yes, the prices...are a little high, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The quality is outstanding and if you order your steak medium-rare, you will get medium-rare. This is a great place for special occasions.More
He picked it, we liked it. Chef at Habachi table was entertaining and capable. Food was very good. I know that you pay for the entertainment, so I wasn't surprised at the price. Better than Hamada in Tinley Park and the Japanese steak housein Tinley...Park.More
We went on a business trip for a conference and ran across this resturant. It sounded amazing and we were not disappearing at all! So so good! We had the volcano roll, dragon roll, and chicken and shrimp habatchi. I will definitely be back! Everything...came out very presentable and delicious!More
This was our first and last time there. They were not friendly at all and rushed us out afterward. The food has small portions, and not very tasty. I felt like it was an old carpeted lounge, just waiting for the singer to come out....Something had an awful smell, not sure if it was the egg or fish, either way it was bad. I just want to forget this dinner.More
An enjoyable birthday celebration with friends and family. A diamond in the rough. Check out Fuji Japanese Steak House!
Fuji Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar is located in a good-sized shopping center where there is lots of parking. The restaurant is good-sized and stretches over a couple of storefronts. We decided on sushi, so we tried the pink volcano roll and Johnny's crunch...roll and both were excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient and the prices were reasonable.More
Went with a group of 6 and have to say this place is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the chef was great. We had a great time and will return
I am sad to write this review but really feel like I need to. We have been going to this place for 20+ years. It was our favorite place to go to celebrate birthdays, graduations, etc. It's a little pricey so we saved it for special occasions. I went...there last week and it will be the last time! The prices had gone up, the portions had gotten smaller and the service was super unfriendly! We were uncomfortable the entire dinner and when I spend $ 100 for 2 people for dinner- I don't want to feel uncomfortable! We ate at a regular table because we've been there so many times-we really just came for the food. At one point I had my soup, salad and bowl of rice all sitting in front of me at the same time! There was no reason for this-they were not busy. It's just plain rude. The person that waited on us(I believe it was one of the owners) was very unfriendly.Acted like we were bothering her by being there. She brought the wrong ice-cream out (not what we ordered) and acted like it was our mistake. The food was not that good-this is a first. The meat was over cooked and not very warm. The portions were definitely smaller. It probably is better to sit at the hibachi tables-your food will be hot. You will be rushed out of here.Do not come here if you want to linger over your meal and talk. I am SO disappointed in our last visit here. We are used to the servers not being friendly but this was the worst it's ever been. We would deal with it because the food was so good. Now we can't justify it with that. There are several choices in the area for hibachi style food.More
This is one of the better Japanese steakhouses in the area. Its a great place for kids and adults to enjoy the show.
My mother took my husband, me and two kids here for a New Year's dinner. It was awesome!! I am a vegetarian so going to a steak house makes me nervous. This place is a keeper for sure. The family got steak and chicken and...I had a ton of vegetables. It comes with soup, salad (MY FAV) and fried rice. Oh and plus ice cream for dessert. The owner was so personable as well and the girls really liked it there.More
This is my second visit to this restaurant. Both times have been an awesome experience! The owner is very friendly and converses with the customer's. Will be back! Love the chicken and scallops!
Great find in Orlando! Everything we ordered was delicious and we had a large party with all different types of entrees. You have to try it.
We went here with 4 couples for a birthday dinner! The drinks at the bar were good (not a lot of different beers tho), I really enjoyed the Sangria! Dinner was great as well, I had the teriyaki chicken & most of our group had...lobster & steak, the lobsters were HUGE! Everyone enjoyed their meals & they separated our bills 4 ways which was nice, the gratuity was already on the bill as well & I appreciated that they didn't try and "hide" it! If they would update the space a little and maybe separate the hibachi areas a little so it felt more private I think it'd go a long way!More
Always a good time. Have been going here with my kids for several years, when we want something special. The food has always been good and most times the table chef adds entertainment value.
