We stopped in here after spending several hours at the art institute. It was a great place to get a drink have an appetizer and rest your feet. They have a nice view of Millennium Park and south on Michigan Avenue. Watching the sunset was...More

On the Northern end of Grant Park, this is well located for a meal after visiting the Bean or the art Gallery of Chicago. In all fairness, I visited as part of a group, so my meal was preordered. Service was prompt, if not friendly...More

I went with a group. We were seated in an upstairs dining room. Immediately I was impressed that we could have normal conversations while eating. We had multiple appetizers (crab cakes, ceviche, salad rolls), a perfectly dressed salad, and perfectly done filet mignon. A very...More

Stopped here for lunch during a visit to Chicago. The food was great and the drinks were better! We shared a meatball flatbread and I had a Red Headed Stepchild Sangria. The sangria was delicious and the flatbread had amazing flavors and was just the...More

After several hours walking along the river and through the streets of downtown Chicago, we were hot, sweaty and famished. Repeated attempts to find a restaurant to suit the four of us failed. As we approached the Tavern, one of our group said, "If this...More

We had 3 different entrees and all were good. I can say that the southwest chicken sandwich and the JR sandwich were both very good. The portions are large so you can easily share if you choose. They do have a few local beers, but...More

My husband and I had wonderful service at the Tavern at the Park on a Friday night. Even though reservations are recommended, we were lucky to have only waited about 15 minutes at the bar for a cancellation. The service was very nice and helpful...More

I went here for a business dinner, and while I enjoyed the food, it wasn't anything out of this world in my opinion. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and those were delicious, and maybe the regular entrees would be more impressive as...More

Sorry...I do not know. Best to call restaurant and get information. We always ate inside. Great food no matter where you sit, but sitting on the terrace must be really awesome.

Located in the historic Prudential Building across from Millennium Park, Tavern At The Park offers food that is easily recognized and effortlessly enjoyed. Executive Chef Jose Reynoso and Proprietors Donny & Pete de Castro want each guest to experience Tavern’s renowned Chicago hospitality. Tavern at the Park was voted in Crains Magazine as one of Chicago’s “TOP 16” best restaurants to dine in while in the city. Our amazing specialty cocktail menu created by our very own mixologists is unlike anything else around Chicago. Tavern at the Park provides a modernly classic setting coupled with the timing and precision of a fine dining establishment, all the while maintaining the relaxed air and comfort of your neighborhood tavern. Our polished casual style gives the guest the feeling of a three star restaurant while paying two star prices. In addition, we have our rooftop deck, The Tavern Tree House, which overlooks Millennium Park and Michigan Avenue.
