The food. The ambience. The service. The end of a remarkable restaurant. We were among the fortunate ones who were able to experience an excellent dinner before this wonderful restaurant closes forever on April 1. We had delightful martinis, delicious French bread, pan seared Foie...Gras, Pork Tenderloin, Beef Bourguignon, Gateau Breton, a French Malbec, and a Dbl Expresso. An amazing meal, prepared perfectly, and presented beautifully. The professional, dedicated staff were amazing at every step. They and this marvelous restaurant will really be missed. 😔More

Nice ambiance. Decent cocktails. BRIE EN CROÛTE FOR TWO as an appetizer was excellent. Coq au Vin had a nice presentation, but was awkward to eat, a bit too saucy. The noodles made it a pasta dish. The flavor was bland to non-existent. COQUILLES ST...JACQUES was unexpectedly cheesy (a strange companion to seafood) and the polenta was way too salty.More

Great salmon and sea scallops. All food was very good. Save room for dessert! Apple tart and crème Brûlée. Service was good as well.

My wife and I enjoyed a romantic anniversary dinner here. We had the crab cake as appetizer and it was phenomenal. My wife ordered the Beef Bourguignon, and it was incredible. On the server's recommendation, I ordered the Cassoulet Toulousain. It was good. The meat...in it was outstanding, but the beans were a bit overwhelming for my personal preference. We ordered both the Bread Pudding and the Profiteroles, both of which were phenomenal. Great restaurant. Highly recommend.More

Reservations were at the bar. Well-paced meal that was simply excellent all around. The trout may have been the best I’ve ever had. Reasonably priced as well, although a couple of glasses from the quality wine list will fluff up the bill ! Nice dining...experience. Will be back.More

Chez Moi in Lincoln Park is a Chicago treasure. The French Bistro feel fits and the food is delightful, simple, delicious and worth coming back for again and again as my wife and I have. The menu is very complete. Our recent dinner consisted of...Lamb, Duck, Foie Gras of course, veggies and two deserts (why not?) of Crème Brulee and Chocolate Mousee, all were spectacular, delicious and authentic! The Pandemic has caused us to do carry out which has been easy and very much worth the journey. Chad and his staff are very professional, responsive and good! If you’re grateful locals like us, its got the neighborhood feel on Halsted worth the walk. If you’re from out of town, enjoy Chez Moi, you’ll be amazed by feel, food and quality that you simply won’t find in the tourist corridors.More

Took my wife here for a special birthday dinner - our third visit in as many months. Really excellent service and food. This time we enjoyed escargot, pear salad, cassoulet, and boeuf bourguignon! A great meal and a great evening!

Absolutely love this restaurant. The drinks are wonderful, the service is great, the food is creative and so delicious, and they have an amazing loyalty program. Truly everything on the menu is so superb. We have had the escargot, Foie gras, fisherman’s stew, cassoulet, and...more. Bottom line - definitely check it out, oh and join their loyalty program - trust me it is awesome. Hope to see you there.More

The least pretentious French restaurant around. Nice decor. Excellent service. Prime location near Lincoln Park and De Paul. Great food, reminiscent of Paris bistro. Reasonably priced. Lamb shank with couscous was delicious. Can get very loud when crowded, which is often. There is an additional...smaller dining room in the back. Forget about parking.More

I ate in this restaurant on a Sunday night with 2 friends. We like the cozy ambiance and the food was quite good. The French onion soup was excellent and I would recommend the bœuf bourguignon ( amazing taste and tenderness) over the cassoulet (was...just ok). Good and affordable wine list. I would go back again.More

Our daughter had suggested that we stop here for Dinner because she knows how much we like French cuisine. We did and are so glad we did so. From the friendly greeting on our arrival to our double espresso at the end of our meal,...the food was amazing. Escargot, Salad Lyonnaise, Pork Tenderloin, Boeuf Bourguignon, and a delicious sorbet made for a wonderful meal. We will return most certainly.More

Amazing! Simply amazing food. This is by far the best French restaurant in Chicago, and really my favorite restaurant in Chicago ! We’ve dined here several times now since friends of ours introduced us to Chez Moi, and tonight truly seals the deal - amazing...food! We started with a nice crisp white wine, and Escargots en Croute. This is prepared so authentic I felt like I was in Marseille. For dinner we ordered Coq au Vin and Quail Ballotine which we’re simply amazing. My wife and I just could not believe how authentic, and delicious our meals were. We remembered having similar dishes while living in Paris, and it brought about so many memories. We did put a bow on this dinner with homemade bread pudding for desert. I am a a bread pudding snob, after having a mother and grandmother who created this very same version of raisin bread pudding. This was possibly the best food experience I’ve had in Chicago, or the US. Chef, you and your staff have out done yourselves - amazing, amazing, and amazing!More
