We left Boise driving to Hamilton and this was a perfect place to stop at a cute little building that served a great latte! It was a tiny town but really if you stop here to get a drink it is worth it.

On a walk around Idaho City, friends from Russia and my spouse and I stopped in to have some ice cream. They have a lot of flavors available - we all got a different kind - and they were all delicious. This shop also serves food - the lunch selections looked great, but we weren't interested in lunch when we were there.

We stopped by for some huckleberry ice cream and they were out. They were also out of Sasparilla as well and there was no gift selection. The teenagers that were working were not really interested in helping us because they were chatting. We did get ice cream, but not what we hoped.

Just an ordinary huckleberry milkshake. Wish it was more homemade like the ones in Victor, Idaho. It is an ice cream parlor with a gift shop and the inside is crowded.

Not sure I get how high this was rated. My cone had a generous amount of ice cream, but the ice cream was OK at best. I think the grocery store brand ice cream is better than this. Gift shop was cute. Granted this is the only ice cream shop in Idaho City, but it's not 4.5 stars good by any means.

Out in the middle of nowhere on your way to Kirkham Hot Springs is this little town which is your last stop to getting anything good coffee was not bad better then gas station

What a treat to have ice cream in Idaho City. There is also a nice little gift shop in the surroundings of the store. A busy place. They also have coffee drinks.

We went to get an ice cream because we could smell the waffle cones down the street. They were delicious and I highly recommend. The case in front is not all their flavors so be aware they have more. Outside seating was perfect. It was a must visit if we go again.

This place is absolutely marvelous and should be on everyone's list. The service is great and the offerings are better. Feeling a little far from the city and need your Starbucks fix? After getting a latte at Sarsaparilla, you won't want to go to Starbucks ever again. Why settle for a white chocolate mocha when you can add huckleberry flavoring to it? There are more than 20 flavors to add to your latte. You can even add ice cream!
In addition to the oh-so-delicious lattes and ice cream, there's also a great area of the store to get your souvenirs! Huckleberry sodas, handmade soap, hats, jewelry and so much more. This place will make you want to live nearby.

You have to try the Huckleberry on a waffle cone!!! They have WONDERFUL espresso as well! The staff is friendly and helpful when you can't decide which yummy flavor to try!

If your in Idaho City make sure you stop by Sarsaparilla's. It is now on the main highway after the fire a few years back. All flavors of ice cream and the lunch is about as good as you can get in Idaho City. Also a cute gift shop

best ice cream shop in Idaho City and it is very busy in the summer since Idaho City is a very busy place in the Summer this place is a must to eat a nice icecream cone or more to cool off on a hot summer day.
