Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I think the restaurant is actually called Laura’s. It is small right by the bay and the boat yard. We found the food delicious. I had the pork chops, another had a tuna burger and others a regular burger. It is out is the way from the busier areas but a good place to visit

Lovely little restaurant tucked in a marina behind a boatyard. Now called as Laura's restaurant. Loved the food (I had the seafood crepe) - delicious. Loved sitting next to the beach. The staff were so friendly! I'd come back here anytime.

Nov 2018 friends
As a returning resident I was happy when I found this spot 5 minutes from my home. I've enjoyed previous visits and take visiting friends there all the time. Even used for business meetings as I work from home. I visited on Friday November 23, 2018 with friends from Toronto for some live music, snacks and a drink. Really enjoyed the live music and the general atmosphere, but our lasting memory is the very rude chef. One of our order was lambie/conch ceviche, which no one on the table thought tasted okay, so it was returned uneaten. The server said we could have something else, but by then we did not feel like it and asked if it could be taken off the bill. He said he must speak to the chef. The chef came out with an attitude and asked where is the order, inferring that we ate it but wanted a discount. We indicated it was returned and explained why it wasn't eaten. He then proceeded to ask if we knew what was the base for ceviche. All of this was done with an attitude of disdain. Mr. chef I should not have to explain, but you were speaking to people who have lived and or traveled to many countries, across six continents. Ceviche is not new to any of us.

The food here is excellent. New eatery, old spot= fantastic everything. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full service bar. They have a view that is breathtaking and a variety of local menu choices. All for a reasonable price!!

Since they renovated this restaurant and bar, it’s become one of our new favorites! The menu is great (burgers, fish, pasta, wraps, salads, chicken, etc) and the staff are very friendly. The bar has live music on weekends (check their FB page). The setting right on the water is amazing too. Enjoy!

This little restaurant was recommended by a local so on a greyish day decided to try it out for lunch. Interesting location through the boat yard but a lovely spot right beside the water. Service was very good as was the food, Callaloo soup followed by Callaloo Quiche, delicious. The rum punches were also very good. Several locals in which is always a good indication of a good restaurant. Not expensive either.

The Galley is a fairly busy bar/restaurant located on the beach at the marina. The food is not just burgers as per the previous review, a mistake I think, but their fish and chips is excellent, together with other items on the menu. A good place to take the kids, as they can play on the beach, and it is relaxed, all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Not really known by non-cruisers but open and welcoming everybody, this is a great find in the south of the island. Excellent prices, especially for eating and drinking right on the nice little beach of the marina. Have a swim and then settle in for a few drinks. Food is a mix of bar food like burgers and local food like burgers. This is the kind of beach bar/restaurant you could easily spend an afternoon at. We'll be heading there again!

The galley is tucked away behind Grenada Marina, but once you get past the boats in the yard friendly staff at The Galley await. We chose from the menu but there is also a daily special. The food was delicious and the service excellent.
