We were looking for somewhere yummy where we could grab lunch while traveling with our black lab. Woodstack was a perfect choice! There’s a shady, clean outdoor eating area that is dog-friendly. Our server, Sydney, and her other coworkers were so friendly and we felt like the only customers there! They gave us fresh water for our pup and excellent service - not to mention the delicious food! We enjoyed the brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese, potato salad and the yummy house made pickles!

We had the Fried Green Tomato appetizer. It was cooked perfect and comes out with one of their signature sauces on it, and a pimento cheese bed that was very good!
We have the sampler platter that my wife and I shared, and we still took enough home to eat dinner also. The quality of the of the food was 100%. I am a BBQ snob, as I cook it all the time, and also compete in competitions every once in a while. This was as good as i cook at home on my wood fired pit! I can not tell convey enough that you need to go to this place to eat if you are within 30 mins of it. We live over an hour away, but every time we go to Valdosta from now on, Woodstack will be a stop we make for lunch or dinner.

This was a fantastic first visit to Woodstack. We stopped in on our trip back from Florida heading back to Canada. We sat in the bar area and were extremely well taken care of by Lisa. From the moment we arrived Lisa was super welcoming, gave us great suggestions and since she knew we were in a bit of a hurry, got things going super quick. The food was delicious!! Between the 4 of us we had ribs, pulled pork, and brisket (the beef dip), along with all the delicious sides.
We’ll definitely be going back the next time we’re in Valdosta. The food certainly sells itself but Lisa made our experience so wonderful. Completely above and beyond. Thank you :)

Out of town family birthday dinner recently. 10 guest. 2 quest enjoyed their meals. We started with 2 appetizers of fresh fried pork rinds. One order was was served fresh, still popping, dusted with a savory spice blend sprinkled on with a delicious sweet pepper sauce. The other order was not hot and no spice on top. Side by side, all guest was going for the fresh hot seasoned pork rinds. Brunswick stew was a very salty tomato vegetable soup. 2 of 3 quest ordered this side and could not eat it. The macaroni and cheese was so dry each noodle stood on its on. I love the whole okra fried with ranch. Great variety of BBQ sauces. Pulled pork was good. No fat. 2 guest's Brisket was dry. 1 guest ordered 3 meat combo. 1/4 chicken, rib, pork. Stated chicken was dry and rib was tough .My brussel sprouts had great flavor and cooked well. Service was friendly but it took almost an hour for us to be served. Guest was encouraged to fill to go cup with remainder of soda served prior. Our Sunday food seemed left over from earlier in weekend. Out meals combined was over $300. Visited a few times before and remained hopeful food/service would improve over time.

Second time I have been to this place. The meal tonight was just as horrible as the first I had. My husband and I decided to have the fried dill pickles-half portion. They were so greasy I could not eat them. I chose the brisket French dip for my meal. I asked for lean meat. I was served, I believe all of the fatty meats in the restaurant. I tried to pick the fat off the sandwich and when I was down to bare bread-it was soaked in grease. I definitely lost my appetite. I moved my plate to the side and obviously this is normal to see since the waitress never asked why I did not eat a thing. Reminded me so much of my first meal here. My fried veggies were swimming in a paper boat full of grease. I do not see what people eat here that is supposed to be good. I saw everyone around us picking things off of their plates.
And the music! Why in the world would you want to have a concert in a small building. The waitress could not even here us when we tried to get her attention.

This restaurant recieved really good reviews and I see why! We were immediately approached by Lisa walking in- took us straight to our seats. We had the fried pickles- they were very good, best part is they were cut thin. The pulled pork was very good. Lisa was hands down the best waitress! They throw back 8os music was a refreshing change. I was jamming in the booth lol

First visit to this local place that came highly recommend by friends and coworkers. The brisket and sausage were outstanding. The chicken was just ok, a bit dry and the ribs were just average. Sides were all good but the service was very average. Perhaps she was having a bad day/night but you have to put that aside when you are in the customer service business. I left a nice tip because I realize that is her livelihood but it would have been easy not to. They accidently took my to go box and then said it had been thrown away, considering she brought it to our table that's a pretty big oversight. But I would still go back and hope it was just an off night.

Stopped here on the way back from Florida looking for a tasty bbq meal. It did not disappoint. God rest his soul my dad loved Brunswick stew, so I got some to try. Very nice flavors. Imagine a minestrone with pulled pork. I also got the burnt ends with steak fries! Yummy yummy. I'm a big fan of burnt ends, so I was happy to get them. The sauce is tangy and delicious. The fries had good seasoning. Try all of the sauces, they rock. I'll for sure stop by again!

Party of 4 sat in bar area on a Saturday. Server was friendly, funny, helpful, and efficient. Burnt end, pork skins and eggplant appetizers, all outstanding. Drinks were great , margaritas were excellent. We all had sandwiches with some unique choices.

First time visit. My favorite restaurant of our first trip to Valdosta. Food was delicious, staff was fantastic and friendly. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great visit and wonderful food!

This is the best BBQ in this town. Everything on the menu is great and they always have great service. The appetizers are the best and their brisket is never dry.

This place sucks now!! They need the cook that used to be there or whoever makes the decision for the menu needs to be fired!!! What BBQ place gets rid of potato salad and regular fries?!?!

Looking for a different place in Valdosta while we're here for a week. Woodstack's menu looked good online. VERY happy we stopped!! Food was GREAT and our waitress was GREAT! If we race at SGMP again next year, we will be back. Best Burnt Ends I've had in years. Wished I had bought an order to go for another meal on the trip home.

We planned our lunch stop here based on a visit in 2019. Food was really good but unfortunately our main reason for stopping, pork belly sandwich, is no longer on the menu. So, while this place is good, it’s bbq and there are lots of bbq places out there.
