About
We are a your typical family owned restaurant in Valdosta, GA. We are first-generation immigrants with two daughters who were born in the USA. For over 13 years we have dedicated ourselves to cooking food from multiple ethnicity origins. We have found a way to express our sensitivity and love we have for human beings and nature through our food. In our long journey interacting with multiple gastronomic cultures we have found that all countries cuisines have rich qualities that deserve to be exposed and known to the American people. In this cultural adventure, cooking multi-ethnic food, we want to keep the fundamentals of each recipe but put a special emphasis on the nutritional aspects of it. We use only the best and most natural ingredients. Our concept can fits into a casual style restaurant, where we put important touches in the use of technology as a tool to carry out our marketing strategy. We believe today, more than ever, we are living in a world without borders, a world where it is incredibly easy to penetrate other cultures and meet other lifestyles ways of feeding humans. It is there, where our culinary proposal comes together making a reality this enriching experience of knowing the world.

We stopped by on our way South to Florida and timed our trip North so we could stop again. We've tried Cuban sandwiches across this great Country and this is the absolute best we've ever had. Angela's Deli in Athens, Tennessee is the #2. The folks who own "Empanadas and More" are so friendly and want you to love their food. The empanadas are delicious too. This Cuban sandwich has the perfect seasoning on the roast pork and the bread is so fresh. They only have canned/bottled drinks but they're reasonably priced. Each day there are different entrees available but there are always empanadas and all of the sides. There's a website at Empanadas and More Valdosta so you can check out the daily entrees. This is definitely a local favorite located in a strip mall.

A great place to get take-out, mostly because the lunch crowd swoops up the few tables available. And who can blame 'em, the food is that good and the prices that reasonable. I hope the owner is making a living with such low prices. But native Valdostans are always scoping out the bargains, and this restaurant fits that goal.

We were traveling back from Florida to Atlanta and I wanted to find a restaurant for a quick lunch. It was a little further from the expressway, but so worth the drive. It is a family owned restaurant, and the man was exceedingly kind to us. He explained the menu and since we were traveling, even offered to allow us to sit at a table in the restaurant, even though they only do takeout now. He lovingly packed our order and to my surprise, even gave each of my daughters two drinks to try without charging us. As we were all loaded up in the car, he ran out to give us extra napkins just in case we needed them on the road. It is some of the best service I’ve had in quite a while. But the real star was the food. The empanadas are beyond amazing and I have personally had them in South America as well, and these were absolutely authentic. The plantains were cooked perfectly with crispy edges. My husband enjoyed the chicken and vegetable soup immensely. I will absolutely add this place to our stop when we travel to Florida.

Rarely does the owner greet and introduce himself to the customer. You will feel like family here. There are 2 daily specials but the core is outstanding empanadas. The salsa verde complements them well. This is a small restaurant but if you are in the neighborhood and love empanadas, this is your place. They have takeout as well. This is a True family restaurant as the owner and his family work here and they eat their meals here too. You will understand why they do if you eat here. This review was stuck in TA's draft file for 5 years and I had no idea. If they're still there, I'll bet they're still great.

This has to be one of the happiest and friendliest spots to pick up lunch I have ever seen. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and my husband and myself will definitely be coming back. (Try the arepas!)

We consult TripAdvisor when we’re traveling and looking for restaurants. We noticed that this restaurant is rated five stars, and after stopping, we understand why. This is a Latin Infusion restaurant, five miles from I-75. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Empanadas & More. The owner was so friendly and informative. We each had two empanadas & fried plantains, plus an arepa to go. Take out only during COVID. We will definitely return.

I love this little restaurant. Alberto, the owner, cares about quality and service and it shows. Everything on the menu is good, including the changing daily specials and the various side dishes. Don't be scared off by the fact that the menu may have things we are not accustomed to in South Georgia - good food is good food and Alberto will be happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. Above all, no matter what else you try, don't miss the empanadas. They are simply sublime. If you aren't familiar, just think of your grandmother's fried peach or apple pies, but filled with beef, chicken, ham, cheese, etc. Muy bueno.
