Food was good but

It took an hour from when we ordered food to actually get our dinners. The waitress kept apologizing but even our drinks took over 20 minutes to get. The restaurant was not busy so the kitchen was the issue and no manager was around to comment.

Great experience as expected

We love Outback Steakhouse and have never had an issue at any of their locations, including this one. We placed two carry-out orders over the phone since we wanted to use 2 $10 certificates and they were ready in less than 20 minutes. They remembered to include complimentary bread in both orders as well as all the extras that we requested. The food was excellent, just as we've come to expect at Outback.

Far better than other Outbacks I've tried

My last visit to an Outback was a disaster, but I decided to give the chain another try. This one was as good as the other was terrible. Like so many other places, they are short on employees; however, those who were there were hard working and efficient. My server, CJ, stayed busy but kept an eye on all the diners and what they might need or want next. The steak was tender and cooked just right. The French onion soup was really hot temperature wise, just like I like it. Its locale is a bit out of the way, but it's not impossible to get to. I'll be going back to this one.

You've gotta be kidding me

I seat myself at the bar and it takes a few minutes for the bartender to realize that I'm there, after all, the bar had 4 people, and there was another bartender taking care of all of the restaurant cocktails. I ordered an appetizer, then my entree. 3 ladies come in and sit close to me and ask what I had for dinner. I explained that so far all I had was my appetizer, and that I was waiting for my dinner. It took another 10 minutes (20 minutes total) before my dinner was served. I took a bite of everything and it was all luke warm. I waited for the bartender to come back over, probably another 5 minutes, the bartender asked how my food was, I told him that it was cold. He had the nerve to ask if it was cold when it was served, or if it got cold while I was having a discussion with the ladies next to me. I told him that it was cold when it was delivered and that if he had paid attention to his customers, he would have resolved the problem earlier. They replaced the meal, but the quality of the meat, prime rib, was not up to par. The owner came out and explained that every now and then the cut of meat is not that great. I should have been comped the meal, not the appetizers or cocktails, he saw that I barely ate any of it. The bartender needs to go back to some sort of customer training, he was horrible. as an aside, the guy to the left of me had to have his soup replaced because it was cold, and the ladies to the right had 1 out of 3 entrees correct. I have eaten here many times, this was by far my worst experience.

Terrible service, worse food.

Our waiter was the bartender, but I had to go get him twice during the meal for service. Blooming onion was floating in grease and refused. Even the General Manager could not say that my rare steak was cooked any less than medium well. It was well done by a mile! Outback was our favorite restaurant for many years, but next time we'll stand in line at Texas Roadhouse next door, rather than ever eat at Outback in Valdosta again!

Pass on this place, lots of better choices within a mile.

Where to begin. The bathroom was disgusting, the service slow and just bad, and the food marginal. Asked for a steak medium and it came rare - seriously just seared completely raw inside. Waited forever for second beer - dinner was long done by the time it came from the server. House wine was skunky. Not what I’ve come to expect from a chain like Outback. The sides were good. Lots of choices, pass on this place.

A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE

Visiting our grandson who is stationed at Moody AFB…treating him to dinner…his choice in Valdosta. There was no choice…it was Outback hands down He has experienced all other steakhouses in the area and we agree in his choice. The food, from the appetizer right through to the dessert was exceptional…tasty and freshly prepared. Our server, Cassie who also happened to be the bartender and server in this Tuesday night was professional yet extremely personable. Definitely, a great dinner experience!

Love this chain, has never let me down

Stopped at the hotel next door on last leg of a road trip, picked hotel as there was an Outback next door! Great restaurant as usual, always try to get to one when in US, need to pay 3 times to get the same quality steak in the UK! Love the malty little bread to nibble at first, ma in law always looks forward to and enjoys the coconut shrimp.

Third try and last visit!! No more Outback. See ya.

We’ve given this place three tries. This will be our last visit. Its just terrible. I ordered a medium well ribeye. It was well done. Dry and overcooked. Yuck. There “new” strawberry salad had 4 strawberry halves a little goat cheese and a lot of lettuce. Fried mushrooms had way too much breading!! Ahi tuna was dry! Outback will not get any more of our money!

Outback Steakhouse always delivers top notch service and food

Was in town to check on my father and catch u on some family business. Stopped by Outback Steakhouse for dinner and was taken care of my Evan like royalty. I ordered the perfectly grilled salmon ugh steamed vegetables. Additionally, I could not resist order the New York style cheesecake with raspberry. Absolutely, divine experience!!

Great food, great service

We stopped at a nearby hotel for the night after a long day of driving. We appreciated our great meal and the attentive, friendly service. In these day of Covid, we also appreciated the precautions taken; staff wearing masks, social distancing of the tables, cleaning, and having patrons wait for their table outside.

Good food!

Road trip! Food was good. Curbside delivery was a bit slow even though it was 5pm and only 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot. Don’t order a martini. They make it in a blender, a first for me.

Stopped for dinner and the

Stopped for dinner and the parking lot was full. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait so we sat at the bar. The service was great. Food was very good. I had the four course meal. It was a lot of food for the money. Overall, excellent experience.

Disapointment

An hour wait for a table then another 40 minutes for our food. My mother-in-law’s and my steak were both too salty! My steak was a medium well sirloin and tough!!! My grilled shrimp were way over seasoned!! Just overall a disappointing meal. Expected more for the price!!

The BEST service and steak!

My wife and I wanted to express our extreme satisfaction for restaurant #1135. We have traveled all over the US and have eaten at many Outback Steakhouses. We were served by Cassie and manager Keisha. We have NEVER had a better steak and service than we had tonight. Most people only want to contact to complain, we are retired Police and Fire, and we understand the need for acknowledging great service. Tonight's service was FANTASTIC! Every single employee was courteous and fast with service. From the hostesses to the chef and bus people, nobody stood around. Every single employee was working hard to make their customers happy. Please give a little extra credit to restaurant # 1135, they deserve it!
