Dry, tough, skimpy meat items on our visit

Was a bit disappointed in this Sonny’s food. I got Baby Back Ribs and they were dry, tough chewing, and not very meaty. Wife had smoked turkey and said it was dry and tough as well. Maybe we hit them on a bad day, but the meat items we were served should have never made it to the table. Love Sonny’s in general, but this was my worst experience food wise.

Always a good meal at Sonny's

If you described Sonny's with a single word, it would be consistent....as in consistently good, no matter the location. Always good food, good prices, good service an overall good experience. My only dis about this location is that they did not have toothpicks. How can a BBQ place not have toothpicks?

Amazing service & food

Enjoyed my time at Sonny’s. The food was good and the service from our waitress Marion was amazing, she very made sure to keep checking on us to make sure we were good and she was fast with getting our drinks. I will definitely be returning again!

HUGE Disappointment!

Eat elsewhere other than Sonny's BBQ if you are hungry! I ordered the Pick 2 Combo. Little did I know my meal would arrive with only 2 ribs, and only 2 slices of pork with my sides. This meal only left me hungry for BBQ. We left and went to Smoking Pig where the parking lot was full, which says a lot! Sonny's restaurant was almost empty and now I know why. I keep trying to support this business because Sonny's is awesome in lots of other places, but you will want to bypass this option while in Valdosta. Huge disappointment!

Very Disappointed

I went through the drive through. Since the inside was closed, I parked in the parking lot to eat. The fries were cold. I ordered sliced pork and received pulled pork. The pork was rubbery. My husband ordered beef brisket, and it too was hard and unable to chew. I am so disappointed with Sonny's.

Not a Delight!

The pulled pork was dried out. They were out of red neck egg rolls. To top it off the waitress over charged me for my meal. I brought it to her attention. She acknowledged she incorrectly charged me but would not/ did not change it. Will NOT return. Overall not a delight.

Worst meal

This week a friend and I went to Sonny’s in Valdosta GA. I ordered beef brisket w/ cornbread & sweet potato fries. The brisket was the worst I’ve ever had. It was full of fat and extremely greasy. The cornbread was dry and hard. (Stale). The fries were good. The service was good. But I do not intend to return.

Always good food!!

Had lunch while out with friends. I had the sliced pork plate with baked beans and fries. My friend had ribs , coleslaw and beans. Both meals were good.

Every time we travel this direction, we keep an eye out for a Sonny's. We enjoy the food; the service is always great. And of course, we have to loas up on there sause. Sure wish they would keep moving westward.

I am so offended!!!!!!! I came here to have an order of their amazing redneck eggrolls only to find they have jumped on the politically correct bandwagon and changed the name of my favorite order to bbq pork eggrolls. Im disgusted to be honest....sad to say i wont be coming back...i actually thought the management of this establishment would have a spine...apparently not...too bad..i used to tell everyone how great they were. Not any more....

Sonny's BBQ

Our egg rolls are a crowd pleaser. We are always evaluating our menu for a variety of reasons, and similar to other items on the menu, the new name more accurately describes the ingredients and barbecue flavors used in the dish.

While waiting to be seated - several staff members at host stand - no one acknowledged our presence, then one of the girls throws out the “F” word … at that point we left … I hate that word especially from a staff member who should be greeting you in a positive manner…
