Enjoyed our food selections...ribs and shrimp were prepared just right but could have been a little hotter. . Our server was not friendly at all. Brought our food, set it on the table and walked away without a word. I’m not mentioning her name but management might want to encourage friendlier service.

We were visiting friends in Alabama and that took us by this Cheddars location. We really like this franchise and their made from scratch menu and especially their chicken fingers, so we sometimes search them out. Since each restaurant is essentially the same with the same menu (please bring back your onion rings), based on the TERRIFIC service provided to us by Tashara, we vote that this facility is quite simply the BEST. Thanks Tashara for everything.

After traveling yesterday we pulled into Valdosta, GA and saw Cheddars Scratch Kitchen near the hotel we were staying at. We were hungry and had never tried Cheddars. The parking lot was clean and the atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming. We had a delightful server who gave us some ideas of what was her favorites and I chose the Grilled whitefish entree with a cup of baked potato soup and side of green beans. My husband chose a steak, steamed broccoli and baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly - juicy and tender. Almost melted in our mouth. My grilled whitefish included 3 fillets and the seasoning was a little spicy but that is how I like it. The flavor was amazing! The server brought 2 complimentary crescent rolls which were coated with a melted slightly sweet butter. These were so good! Flaky, buttery and just the right size 1 each was plenty! We both enjoyed our meals and cleaned our plates! The menu offers a variety of food choices including chicken pot pie, chicken tenders, BBQ ribs, sandwiches, salads, soup, appetizers, hamburgers, desserts, kids meal, alcoholic drinks and desserts all at a reasonable price. We will definitely try some more choices in the future. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Been going there for quite a few years with my work crew for our Christmas party, This year was the worst place I have ever been in. We must have been there for over 2-hrs. The 1st drink was good, then shift change at 4 PM, Total chaos, ordered another drink and no alcohol in them, went to talk to the bartender asked him did he know what he was doing, quote, Yes I have a book right here that tells me what to do. It took at least an hour after we ordered to get the food, then when it came out all was cold (surprise surprise) butter wasn't even melted in baked potato. My wife and another crew member ordered chicken tenders and steamed shrimp, 3 shrimp two tenders, a cold undone potatoes, terrible drinks, we did switch to beer, wrong dressing on salads. Two other employees of mine ordered rib-eye steaks and got sirloin, I ordered glazed salmon along with another employee not cooked right nor glazed. Anyway, after 2 hrs of this I told the manager I wasn't paying for the meals or drinks except for the beer and a 47 dollar tip for the waitress, she was fine and did try hard, but needs more experience. Checked the next day and found out I was charged for a lot more than that. I went back the next Saturday (as I live about an hr away) and told another manager about it, he assured me a gift card for the balance would be mailed to me in 3 or 4 days.Still waiting 14 days later, so back I'm going again. Oh and all of us that went there for the onion rings, the wise new management discontinued that item, I mean that's what cheddar's was know for. That alone should tell you how the new owners are trying to run it.

This restaurant does not seem to have figured out how to make inside dining work since reopening. The hostess said 25 minute wait even though they had entire sections empty. No one was clearing tables as people left. Ended up waiting 45 minutes. The waitress would disappear for up to 20 minutes at a time even though she only had 3 tables. I dont mind a little wait for good food, but the entire experience lasted 2 hours- which was ridiculous for a week night. The whole place seemed understaffed. Everything about the visit was slow. The hostess was the hardest working employee in the whole place. Other employees just seemed to stand around doing nothing. I will definitely not be back for quite a while. Hopefully they figure out how to make things work again.

Terrible service, The waiter waited until 20 min after my order to ask how I wanted my steak cooked. LONG wait for food. I ordered shrimp and rice and green beans and told the waiter I cannot eat carbs because I am diabetic. Brought a steak and bowl of rice. No shrimp. He went back and got it, Wow, FOUR shrimp and a tiny steak! Green beans had strong sugar taste, so I couldn't eat them. I asked for steak sauce, and he asked me which one, A-1 or Heinz 57. I replied A-1, and he promptly brought the 57 instead, dropped it on the table and walked on before I could say anything. I was so hungry by then I just ate it anyway. This is the first and last time I eat at the Valdosta GA location!

Said order would be ready at 9:00, 15 minutes late. Called to say they were out of mashed potatoes. Upon receiving order, chicken fried chicken was just a chicken breast, no gravy. Fries were cold. The lemon pepper whitefish and chicken breast had so much pepper it was inedible. And the icing on the cake, we were next door at the Hampton and they provided no utensils. Would never recommend this place.

We've eaten at this Cheddar's several times in the past but that has changed. We stopped both on the way north from Florida and then a month later on the return. On the way up, we stopped around 4:00PM and the service was terrible and slow, the burgers only mediocre. On the way back, the "chicken" was obviously processed and not a simple chicken breast. And, I found out online that they overcharged my gift card by $15, which I will have to call customer service about. I like staying in Valdosta but will find somewhere else to eat.

We really had no choice because not much open on Labor Day. Cheddars are usually great but this one was filthy and the service was non existent. Placed order, server maybe said 2 words, brought food and never saw her again. Needed my drink filled so I pushed the button on the remote gizmo on the table that said call server but no sign of her. I used the same electronic device to pay the bill or I’d still be there. I can’t believe they have any good reviews if the cleanliness and service are this bad.

Recommended by hotel front desk so we went. Had to wait with others for a table. I will assume they were short staffed because there was quite a few empty tables. Music is on the loud side. I had their 1/2 pound burger with fries totally enjoyed it. My wife had the buttermilk fried chicken ona bun with a salad chicken was thick moist and tender, very good. Salad with honey mustard dressing was very tasty. Server was nice however we had to ask for cutlery which was all plastic and the beer I ordered from the menu they didn’t have. Their freshly baked butter croissant with honey is vey good. The food gets a 4.

Supposedly everything here is "from scratch." I don't think so. The crescent rolls they served with our salads were very much like Pillsbury. 15 minutes after we ordered, the server came back and said that it my chicken pot pie would take 40 minutes. Sounds like a frozen pie to me. I ordered a vegetable plate instead. The corn was definitely canned. Not sure about the green beans, but I didn't like that they put sugar in them. My husband ordered steak and ribs. The steak was fine, but the ribs while flavorful were very dry. Both of our baked potatoes were barely warm and looked lie they had been in the oven about 20 minutes too long. The server was nice, but we won't be back.

Ate there twice so this is for both days. First had dinner there. The food was good, service was good and ample portions. Enjoyed dinner so we went back the next day for lunch. The experience was night and day. First I'll say the food was good however the service was terrible. We had 6 people in the party and when we placed the order everything seemed fine till the order started coming out. First 2 people got their salads but none of use had gotten drinks yet. Drinks finally arrived but nobody else s food did. After a few minutes a bowl of soup arrived. A few minutes later the person that ordered the soup got her salad. After a few minutes more the last 2 people finally got their food. About 10 minutes for all 6 of us to receive our orders. Nobody got drink refills until we where finished eating

We had a great waitress. Clean restaurant. Being Vegan and to our surprise, we had some tasty choices. Baked potato, steamed rice, veggies, salad. We wanted something light because we were traveling. So those choices worked for us.

This was close to our hotel as we drove to Florida and was open sort of late. Service was quick and efficient. Food was the typical good Cheddar’s food. Staff wore masks and place appeared clean with social distancing marking off areas.
