This was our first visit to Wharf Casual Seafood in Valdosta. Date night for us; however, they do have a kids' menu and it's kid-friendly. The restaurant is a casual dining establishment. Nice set up inside the restaurant with plenty of seating and some outside tables as well. You go to the counter and order your food and drinks (you get your drinks) and then sit and wait for your food at your table. A server comes by and delivers your food. The service was spot on everyone was very friendly. We ordered the loaded fried green tomatoes appetizer (omg it they were yummy) and then we ordered the Destin Platter blackened and Grouper entree. It was 63.00 for appetizer, 2 sweet teas, and two meals so a little pricey; however, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be back. We can't wait to try the other choices off the menu!

This was our first visit. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The service was good and quick. My husband had Grouper tacos with hushpuppies and I had Chopped shrimp boat salad. We really enjoyed our food. We didn't have dessert, but they sure looked good.

This restaurant is wonderful. The seafood is good, but the hamburgers are outstanding! The hamburgers are very juicy & moist. The hamburger buns are buttered & toasted. My favorite sandwich is the Jam Burger! Try this item with the smashed potatoes. The cakes & pies are wonderful, also! Great experience!!!

I would describe this as fast food style seafood. The blackened grouper was ok but not seasoned well. The green beans were tough and the coleslaw was the worst thing we ever tasted. Maybe it was spoiled-who knows. Hush puppies were good and the pick up service was quick.

I have eaten here several times since they opened and have experienced excellent Gulf Coast type seafood. I have done both eat in and carryout and have always been pleased with the food and the service. I lived several years south of Tallahassee on the coast and this is the style and fresh quality you get at the coast. The prices are in line with fresh high quality seafood. This is not frozen mystery seafood from Southeast Asia. Try it, you'll like it!

We both had the lunch specials ($12 May 2024) and not only were they very good, they were a real bargain. Counter staff was very friendly and welcoming.
We'll be back!

We had the loaded fried green tomatoes to start with . I could have ate another order , they were so good. I had the shrimp basket and my friend had the shrimp tacos but were really good.

I had the Grouper Entree and I ordered it blackened. It was top notch! Perfect flavor and very moist! I will visit again. The service was also Good!
