Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. Beverages and crispy noodles came quickly as did the soup and the entree. Soup was good. The egg roll tasted re-heated and not fresh. The entree's were just OK. I agree with another reviewer regarding the clutter at the front window. Also boxes stacked on a chair near steps. Bathrooms need and upgrade.

We returned to this place that we found the last time we stopped in Valdosta for the night. It was Sunday so many of the places we would have tried were closed! This place will be closing the month of August 2024 for remodeling and vacation time for the owners! The food here is above average but not over the top. They have a $18.95 dinner special that includes egg roll, crab Rangoon, and choice of soup. I chose Hot & Sour soup; other had Egg Drop Corn soup. We also both received fortune cookies, but neither had anything inside? (just the cookie and no fortune) I had Prawns w Lobster sauce and other half had House Lo Mein. Both were tasty and filling. They only gave us one Duck sauce in total so ask for more, if needed. Everything (except ample sauces) was in order as placed when we opened once back at our hotel. I should have tipped a little more, but I only tip half (8-10%) for take out. We will be back on a future visit through Valdosta to see their remodeled restaurant!

I have eaten here many times over the years and always enjoyed an excellent meal. I recently had dinner here with friends and was not disappointed. I particularly like the family dinners that come with soup, egg roll, crab rangoon and various entrees. Highly recommend!

Delicious Asian food. The broth for the wonton soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. The filling in the dumplings was delicious. The egg rolls were some of the biggest I’ve ever had. The portions are huge. My husband and I could have easily shared a plate. Keep in mind when they say spicy they mean spicy!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn at the next exit and found this on TripAdvisor. There weren't many choices for Chinese food, but this one looked good and lived up to the reviews. They have several $18.95 dinner specials. I chose the Pepper Steak w fried rice, and my other half chose Lo Mein. We also received an Egg Roll (tasted freshly made with crunchy cabbage), Crab Rangoon, and a soup choice (we both chose Hot & Sour). Everything was so good, and we ate it all once back at the hotel in our room. We also received various sauces and a fortune cookie each. The lady taking our order was very welcoming, and our food was ready in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend as we plan to return here if/when we stay in Valdosta again. Note: Also noticed several local people eating there which is always a good sign!

Service was okay! Food was made to order ( very spicy). Their take on pad Thai is much saucier than I expected. We will be back to try some other options!

This is my son’s favorite place to eat in Valdosta. It is a mixture of Thai and Chinese. The food is always excellent and fresh. The atmosphere is calming, and the service is excellent. It is a family-run place, which is why there are not a lot of waiters. My only complaint is they need to clean up the messy table area you see when you come in. It looks like someone’s messy desk/office out in the middle of the dining room. However, this would never prevent us from coming back. My favorite is the Kung Pao chicken!

Went here on a stop over from Florida to Canada. Outstanding Chinese Food. Family business. Owner spoke with my wife in Chinese to ensure proper order. Very clean premise and friendly family. Looks like they also have a busy take-out which indicates to me popular and good food. Our dinner was excellent.

There was only one person handling orders, take-out orders and the cash register at noon when we visited. Took almost 15 minutes for her to take our order,, and 35 to get our meal. Food was excellent when it finally arrived, though.

This little restaurant is a gem of a restaurant. It’s owned by a young couple and their children are typically at the restaurant with them and often interact with the customers. The food is some of the best Chinese that I’ve eaten. If you don’t like something that is in the dish let them know and they will substitute a different vegetable for you. Give it a try and I know you want be disappointed.

We would never consider Chinese anywhere else in Valdosta! This is a locally family owned and operated restaurant. It is not your typical "order by number" restaurant, There is no buffet, just authentic delicious Chinese/Thai fare. They are also excellent for Take Away. Your meal will be correct, perfectly packaged and promptly ready.

Disclaimer: I am a food snob. However, Bejing Cafe is well below average. The servitors are upbeat and attentive but not knowledgeable; the housefront staff harried and distracted, the tables empty at 5pm on Saturday. And yet the food falls below even that low standard. Two examples: I ordered Ma Po tofu. In a bland sauce I found plenty of soft tofu, which I suppose is all they can get; green bell peppers, onions, and dried chili pepper pods. China Express in Stone Mountain, Ga., a local dive there, stir-fries its smoked tofu in a quite complex sauce with a dozen vegetables, for a third less the price. I ordered the Spicy Basil Shrimp. It contained a dozen mealy overcooked shrimp in a mediocre sauce with a few crumbles of dried basil, onions and zucchini. Oh, and dried chili pepper pods. Sri Thai in Snellville, Ga., two weeks ago had firm, properly cooked shrimp, a dozen fresh basil leaves, a rich chili-oil-laced sauce and a big variety of vegetables. For a third less the price. I can go on. In short, I found no understanding of subtlety, of proper wok technique, or of ingredients. I will not be back.

Stopped in for lunch while traveling I-75. Price was reasonable, the service was good, and the place was nicely decorated and clean. I had the lunch special - broccoli and chicken with hot and sour soup and egg roll. The food was rather bland without much flavor and seemed to be missing something. Even the hot and sour soup was disappointing. Maybe it was just a bad day for the cook.

A nice meal with a south-China and coastal influenced reflected on the menu. Inexpesive, and fast service.
