Our restaurant offers an extensive menu for dine-in or take-out. We do have facilities for private parties. There are plenty of good Italian restaurants, but very few combine great food, friendly service, and affordability all in a comfortable family atmosphere. At Mom and Dad’s Restaurant, we put them all together, so you can relax and feel right at home.

I know when I go to Mom and Dad’s the food will always be good, the service will always be good and the total experience is always excellent. This is one of the few restaurants in Valdosta that can serve a large group of people. They have several private rooms and always have enough staff assigned to the group that the service remains excellent and the food is served hot!

After a long day of baseball games in Valdosta we where lucky to find this Italian Restaurant, just what we were looking for, great food, great attention, family own and operated, relaxed and the food came out just in time, even tho we got there relatively late, we where treated without any sing of rush...
Jack served us and was of great help and very attentive.
Food was the best I’ve taste in Georgia in 3 years living in Metro Atlanta, just another level and at very reasonable prices with pretty large portions.
Definitely a place to repeat, just sad that is kind of far from ATL...

We stopped for dinner - one of us had steak and the other pasta. Both were both plentiful and very tasty. The salad and minestrone soup were also very good. Our waitress and all the other staff who interacted with us were very friendly and helpful. The setting was very nice. The drink selection was quite adequate, and it was nice to see imported beers at $4.00 a bottle rather than $6.50!
We were quite happy that we stopped here.

great service, dated decor, mediocre food. Take this into consideration that this is a finer dining Italian restaurant, where dinners start at $19. The dinner started well with a great spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. I ordered eggplant parmesan . it was offered with pasta or wilted spinach. I ordered pasta, which arrived served on a separate small casserole dish. It was luke warm and not drained properly. The Eggplant parm, I think may of had a lasagna type filling . It was also not as hot as it should have been. The red sauce and eggplant both lacked flavor. That being said it was not bad, but it certainly was not good for a $19 eggplant entree.

Great food, great people! This is a popular place with the locals because the owner calls them by name. There were 7 in our party and we waited about 45 minutes to be seated around 7:00. Our waiter was very attentive, but it took a while for our entrees to arrive; however, I feel this was because our food was definitely made to order. It was all delicious!

I was personally welcomed by the owner I spoke to the night before as I told him I was visiting from Fort Myers, FL heading to Clemson, South Carolina and would be eating there solo and ordering to go to feed 10 people. I chit chatted with the bartender who was spot on for everything… I believe his name was Paul. I had the veal piccata … phenomenal and of course I had a $90 bottle of wine which paired perfectly. The young waitstaff was very nice don’t get me wrong, but the bartender continued to come to my table and poured my wine. This is a great family owned restaurant to definitely make a stop. The owner made it to my table a minimum of 3 times to check in on me to ensure everything was good and up to expectations. Absolutely! Again if you are newbie check with the bartender of what to order re your pallet

Awesome meal, authentic Italian cuisine, well worth a stop for dinner during the snowbird migration up/down the I-75. Homemade bread, best Veal Marsala I can remember in a long time, great mussels and unquestionably the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. And then, they introduced the white chocolate ravioli. ..... we will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to all of our friends who winter in Florida.

Service was great. Nice atmosphere. But was disappointed with my meal. Ordered the pasta the waiter recommended. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and sprinkled with the powdered Parmesan cheese. The marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese was too heavy with angel hair pasta. In fairness my teenage kids might have loved it. The homemade bread was really good. My husband ordered manicotti he says it was average. The food wasn’t horrible but did not come close to the reviews. And it was very expensive for what you got.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food and service were phenomenal. From the time we walked in the door and were greeted to the time we left everything we experienced was beyond exceptional. I had the chicken piccata, which I highly recommend of course every dish I saw come out looked delicious. Our server, Karter was not only sweet and entertaining she was extremely knowledgeable and made our visit such a pleasure. I would have to say Karter is the best server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If we lived in this area we would be a regular, but since we live 1800 miles away we will have to put it on our yearly schedule as we travel to and from Florida.

Really just looking at this place I knew we would love it. It had a great atmosphere and it looked like all the locals had shown up on time. My husband ordered the Spaghetti and I ordered the Chicken Florentine. Both were delicious. Something about the spaghetti noodles were just divine I don't know if they make their own or what. I also had a side soup called Minstrone and I'm not going to lie it reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. And that is a very fine compliment. Our waiter was very nice and fun but still kept the atmosphere light and refreshing. We ordered the cannoli and some type of hazelnut pie. While the hazelnut pie was just ok the cannoli was the best cannoli I have ever had. I actually wanted to buy some to go. We will be back here in the future for sure. Prices were not as high as we were expecting for such fine food.

Agree with prior reviews that Mom and Dads serves good Italian food, and we will return when we are in town, but will order other items. I had lasagna (noodles were overdone and mushy). My husband had the veal cannelloni which was too cheesy for him. Following Covid precautions and tables separated.

While traveling home from Florida we happened upon this gem in Valdosta. The Italian food was delicious, portions very abundant, and prices very reasonable. The chicken Marsala was very good. Entrees come with a side and either salad or soup. My husband ordered a steak which he said was very good. Other diners in our group ordered Eggplant Parmesan and Spaghetti bruzzi which was a baked spaghetti with meat and mushrooms and very cheesy. Our server was very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Tried this place and loved the service. Interior was somewhat uninspired but okay. Food was just okay. Both dished were just so so. Bread almost felt store bought plain. Salad was somewhat wet from washing. Place was packed though so is a local favourite.

GOTTA COME HERE!
We stopped here for desserts, and it was well worth it.
We tried the Butterfinger mousse, white chocolate ravioli with hazelnut drizzle, tiramisu, black & white cheesecake, white chocolate gelato
All of them were absolutely out of this world.
If their main dishes were anything like the desserts, you won't be disappointed.
So give their desserts a try.

I’m from Phoenix and was in Valdosta for a wedding, the rehearsal dinner was catered by Mom and Dad’s, there was salad, lasagna and Chicken Florentino, all I can say is this was some of the best Italian food I have ever had! The pasta is freshly made and the house dressing is amazing! I travel all over the U.S and Europe for work, been to many Italian restaurants and this establishment just made my top 3 favorites! If I ever get the chance to dine in this gem of a restaurant, I will!
Someone at the rehearsal dinner said the eggplant parmigiana is the best!
