Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our first visit here 3 years ago was one of the most pleasant and memorable of our many years of dining experience. We have since recommended Q's to a number of folks. However, in the two visits since then, we have not been as impressed. Perhaps our first visit was TOO good, and by that we have measured our recent visits. If measured against other experiences to other eating venues, this is still a very popular, very friendly, and clean place to eat. We came at the end of the lunch hour this time, and the place was almost packed, In minutes, it was practically empty. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful, and it was encouraging to see them always finding something to do to keep things clean, tidy, and organized. By any measure, they were well above average. However, the food just doesn't have the appeal it used to. My wife said (and said to make sure I included this) that, "There is too much meat, too little cheese, and only a tiny dollop of jam inside, which SHOULD be in a cup for dipping." My omelet was greasy (I suspect the result of the Gouda cheese being too overcooked so that the whey separated and soaked into the rest). The only thing memorable about the breakfast potatoes was that they were cooked correctly. The biscuit was quite large, but we had to ask for butter, and the only jam available was the usual cheap individual packaged stuff available at any roadside diner. Q's is NOT such a place, and it would have been a great touch to add a portion cup of quality preserves. We may be back, but after two special efforts to eat here again, it probably won't be "top of mind" for future trips.

Don't come here looking for "healthy options" - that isn't what traditional Southern cuisine is about. But if you're looking to indulge yourself for some DEEEELICIOUS breakfast options and super-friendly staff, you'll love this place as much as we did. The pancakes were extremely popular (seemingly on everyone's plates!) and all of the egg orders were cooked PERFECTLY.

Enjoyed a good breakfast. Would love to go back to try more. Great and quick service. My scrambled eggs were a little flat, I would have liked them a little more fluffy. Really good bacon, nice large breakfast potatoes. But the biscuits were amazing and huge. I don’t know how they made them rise that high and make them that light. It was very busy.

Q Cafe was the perfect choice for breakfast while visiting Thomasville. The location was picture perfect and the service and food was too. Our waitress provided great service with a charming warmth. The food was great. Our group had an omelette, breakfast burrito and traditional eggs & bacon of which we all enjoyed! You won’t go wrong with Q Cafe.

Always a destination when we visit Thomas and Trinity and the boys. This is an absolutely amazing café. We highly recommend it if you are ever near Thomasville Georgia. The owner Mark has a secret recipe for his fluffy pancakes and everything he makes is delicious!! He even creates his own hot sauce! And as a bonus that you do not always get in a great restaurant, the staff is not only efficient and friendly. They embrace you and make you feel like a part of the family. Thank you Deonna❤️ This will always be on our list as a must stop when we are in the Tallahassee area.

Looking for a small town feel, found Q Cafe in old downtown Thomasville. Menu was a surprise, being Texan, I just had to try the burrito. It was not by any measure a burrito you'd find anywhere in Texas, yet was very good. The choice for sides was hashbrowns or grits, so I tried the grits. Glad I did, best I've ever eaten. Next time I make it to Thomasville, I will be back.

Ate there for lunch today. My wife had the island tacos with chicken. I had the crab cake sandwich. Server was Amy. She was attentive but not over the top. Very good service. The place was very busy at 11:40. Everyone was having a great time. About 50/50 between breakfast and lunch. The attention to detail on the food was great. My wife’s tortilla was grilled crispy. Very tasty. I love sampling crab cakes. I have had many great ones. It seems you usually have the southern ones with a lot of breading and spices. Or you have the ones packed with crab. This was packed with crab. Excellent food. Price was very fair. EAT HERE. ASK FOR AMY.

A true gem of a find, as I enjoyed what I’d say was the best omelette that I ever ate, The Butcher - smoked brisket and smoked Gouda! The wait staff is outstanding, very engaging and helpful in guiding our time exploring this charming little southern city. And the owner is top class! Thanks for the perfect start to a beautiful day!

This was our third visit to the Q Cafe! Excellent food every time. My wife enjoys the Gulf omelette filled with lobster and covered with hollandaise sauce. I ordered the biscuits, which are HUGE, sausage, and home fries, and the best gravy ever!! The owner and staff are top notch! If you’re in Thomasville, this is one of the best!!!

Very welcoming as we entered. I got the Three Pig omelet with biscuit while my wife got the salad with chicken salad. Both very good. The biscuit consists probably of corn meal and flour. Got to ask for the biscuit. Good service but the room is noisy. They need to hang acoustics on the walls or ceiling to muffle some of the noise.

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. The portions are grand and the flavors are fabulous. Be prepared to wait on the weekends to just get in the door, but line does move fast. I suggest the farmers breakfast and you must have a bisquit with butter and syrup.

Enjoyed a delicious omelette with brisket, green peppers, onions and smoked Gouda. Cheesy grits and a softball sized biscuit on the side. Great coffee and friendly attentive service. Get there early it is popular and for good reason!

Their biscuits are ENORMOUS. And they’ll fix them any way you like them. My husband had his with sausage, egg, cheese and white gravy. Not for those on a diet or who care about your cholesterol. We justified our breakfast by walking back to our AirBnB. :-). (The pancakes are also really good!)
