While the staff are friendly the food is lack lustre and the staff were not wearing masks properly, even the COVID marshal was not wearing it properly, is not worth a try, would not come again! For someone that specialises in schnitzels they were terrible,...they were either dry as or very oily.More

Very impressed by the customer service of Allicia on 08.07.2021 at 12:30PM. I had ordered my meal however forgot to order a side. I went up to a very busy front counter and then decided it was not worth the wait and went back to...my seat and started my meal. Shorty after Allicia found me and apologised for the wait and asked what I needed to which I replied with the side. Allicia then brought the side to mme while I seated. This sort of customer service is hard to come by and was much appreciated. Thank you Allicia.More

Phoned ahead to book a table. There was already attitude when we asked if they had a table at either 5.30pm or 6pm, either way we were happy. Was told to pick a time and stick with it, not give them two different times. We...were only asking for either or times. For them to say to us what time they could fit us in as we were ringing an hour before dinner. Upon arrival, no table had been reserved for us. They found us a table, the gentleman was lovely who took us to our seat. Asked a question to the staff at the bar prior to ordering on if we could have the 1kg schnitzel without the beer (as it comes with a beer in a special deal) as we cannot have alcohol. We were told no. The beer must be taken. We were going to take the beer and give to another customer, or ask the staff to tip it down the drain as it was not needed. (although I am unsure why they needed to actually pour it when we were happy just to NOT have a beer or drink at all with it) Asked if we could have and pay the price they have for the challenge, $40 for just a 1kg chicken schnitzel -. No, Not allowed. Began ordering Asked for a children's schnitzel, gluten free. I received attitude because I should have asked for a gluten free schnitzel and specified gluten free first, not after the words children's schnitzel. Ordered a schnitzel '1kg challenge' Was then asked if we were going to participate in the challenge, no we were just wanting to pay the money and eat the schnitzel. Was told no. Unless doing to the challenge (eat within 45 minutes to have your photo on Facebook, name on a board etc) So could not pay the full price and just eat the food. No attempt to work with customers requirements. Giving no option for a beer, for someone who cannot have alcohol. Would not even let us forfeit the beer. We left without finalizing our ordering and had a lovely dinner elsewhere. Saved us over $100 for what we were ordering from The Schnithouse. This is not the first time we have been unhappy with the service, this time we definitely will not return. Previous visits we have noticed- Average pricing. Average size meals. Terrible service.More

Went to the venue for Sunday lunch and am sorry to say that despite the clean airy premises the meal was rather disappointing. I had the beef and reef gourmet schnitzel and this came with a small wire basket of fries, a mixed salad in...a bowl and two piecess of beef scnitzel with two prawns and a couple of pieces of salt and pepper squid and the garlic and herb gravy which i had on the side in a gravy boat. The prawns were nice, the calamari very salty, the gravy underseasoned, the salad wet with water and no dressing at all and the schnitzel themselves were rather tough. Perhaps a sharper knife may have helped to cut it better. The chips were nice and the portion was a decent size. Perhaps salt and pepper on the table would be an idea and a light vinagrette dressing would make the salad taste. Sorry to say it was not up to my expectations. The venue is suitable for families and disabled people in wheelchairs and my dining partner had a Clive Parma (chicken) and said it was enjoyable.More

Service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable and seating is comfortable. It’s a roomy place with a massive meaty menu. So perhaps I made a hasty choice for lunch, salt and pepper calamari. It was a generous serve of thick squid strips but they...were soggy, tasteless, pale and lukewarm. The wines were good.More

OMG I have been robbed, with delivery I paid nearly $40. I ordered Mega Seafood Basket - Big Schnit (Really Big) It says "really big" it should say "really small" I have never been so disgusted with take away food I have bought! It had...two piece fish half dozen calamari half dozen prawns a handful of chips and a mouthful of salad. Barley enough to feed one There are three of us here, I could not give the other two any as not enough food! I ate it all and am still hungry $40 OMG I think there are laws against prices from fast food like these If they say this is really big I hate to see a small meal Never again will I buy from these misers For $40 from any fish shop you can barely carry it all I have fed seven people with fish and chips for $40 from other fish shops But from here it fits into a small flat box A few miserably chips in it! Be warned about the quantity of food they provide If your hungry go anywhere else Never again, Never again, Never again, Never again, Never again, Beware, Beware, Beware, Beware, Beware, Beware, Disgusted, Disgusted, Disgusted, Disgusted, Disgusted,More

Initially the staff were satisfying a hospitable. Meal presentation was adequate however the steak was less than satisfying. Unseasoned and gritty. I was not even provided a steak knife for my meal here. The side order garden salad was dry and vegetables were not appealing....Thankfully however the red wine here got me through this meal. Foe the price of the meal, it was adiquate. I would recommend getting a chicken parmigana here instead. Overall i would rate this meal a 2.8/5More

Some quite large schnitzels. Liked it, and pretty good selection of well. Rather German atmosphere too. Pricey though.
