Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I found the Marietta Fish Market searching Trip Advisor. Great fish taco lunch with clam chowder. Great server and quick for lunch. I will be back with the family.

For some reason the food hasn't been as good as it use to be. The fried food has been greasy, the seafood has been way over seasoned, and the pasta hasn't been as good. I have been getting better food at the Marietta Diner. I'm not sure if we keep going on off nights or if they have changed cooks. Don't get me wrong it's still good, but not the best like it use to be. I use to say this beats any seafood at the beach. Just very disappointed lately.

Huge dining room accentuates noise.
Lots of traffic good parking.
Good servers
Menu extensive but repetitive (with different names and prices for same thing). It's seafood but NO SUSHI.
Most selections are fried platters for customers that know zilch about seafood but food was hot. Partner reported steak and baked potato good.
Large portions (but too much of a good thing is a bad thing).
Regular stream of "blue hairs" on busses says something about the place in general.
Deserts look gorgeous but are generally disappointing.
Will return but mainly because I like seafood and it beats Red Lobster or Captain D's by a long shot.

Plenty of friendly servers, too many actually. Very much like a Red L. seafood chain. Pretty noisy inside even though it wasn't that busy. Simple suggestion-keep condiments refridgerated.

Have been here many times.
Love the mature servers. Always too many choices. But never had a bad meal here. And we always walked out the door with a to go box. It has plenty of constant
traffic, so not the place for
romance.
Plus you need a to go of one of their wonderful desserts.

I love this place. Great food. I have been a view times. I have had the fried oysters, seafood bisque soup, and the list goes on. You will love this place. Only one thing that distracts me. They have a worker there that has black spray on his head and beard. If it gets hot, that can drain all over the place. I hope they keep him out the kitchen.

Took our special friends out to dinner and so glad they chose the Maietta Fish Market! The crab dip appetizer was wonderful with pita-type dipping wedges, and our soups were also tasty: Maryland crab and also seafood bisque. My friends said their lobster tails, fried flounder were all delicious. We had beyond impeccable service from Joshua Philip, and he was able to get me Crawfish Etoufee although it wasn't a menu item, and extra rice. The dessert case was massive (see pic) and our desserts were enough for two people, including a strawberry shirtcake with a chocolate dipped strawberry🍓! We appreciated our excellent service, and so much good food, and thanks to Joshua Phillip for patiently packaging so many leftovers! Was a fun dinner with friends at a great venue! Wish we lived closer! 😉

The Marietta Fish Market is located on the Canton Highway - not far from the Cherokee County line. Not exactly a tony neighborhood. But the place looks nice if a bit out of place. Would remind you of Captain Anderson's down in Panama City - a large place, probably seats several hundred. But, on to the good stuff - the seafood. Yep, it is absolutely terrific. Not a fancy place but not the least bit run down either. Did I mention the food - when I looked at the platter put in front of me I knew that I'd found the seafood place from Florida - right here in Cobb County. Great menu - prompt attention from the servers, fried, broiled, grilled, etc seafood. I'm kicking myself for not having gone there before. Yum Yum!!!

Lots of parking, tons to chose from - and the food is great. We will definitely go back often. Nice kids menu too.

Whenever my wife and I feel like seafood, we go here. Crab legs, salmon, Maine lobster are all delicious. Many times Gus, the owner, will stop by each table to make sure you are completely satisfied. Highly recommend this restaurant.

In a suburb with nice parking lot at no cost, a clean attractive well run quality restaurant. Excellent and extensive menu, primarily sea food of course but enough to satisfy all tastes.

Outstanding seafood restaurant. Anything that swims is on the menu and served by a professional staff. A little pricey.

The same owners of the Marietta Fish Market also own the Marietta Diner. As with the Marietta Diner I just reviewed, I find the food at the Fish Market to be quite edible and good as far as quality. The servings are more than adequate for even the most gluttonous eater. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food you get. What a deal! And the service has always been a bit better than that at the Diner; why? I don't know - same owner, similar menus, but different service. At least the times I've eaten at the Fish House, I've found the service to be consistently good.

Fresh seafood, large variety and its all great! They too offer the elaborate desserts like the Marietta Diner (same owners). Terrific Gumbo! The same large portions and great service. Best seafood in town!!
