About
Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine has been established since 2004, and has been family owned and operated ever since. Our first location (on Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL) has firmly established our presence as the premier Turkish restaurant company in Florida. This location (opened in late 2012) was our first endeavor into the South Orlando market - and we're so glad to be here! We're very excited about our newest location and are quite proud to say that our food, wines, and high level of service are identical to our Winter Park location. We really enjoyed our meal, served with care and attention to detail. The lamb kebab was cooked to perfection...tender and moist. Served with rice pilaf and an array of raw vegetables, it was just the right amount of food. Hubby had the lamb shank, which was heavenly and he ate every morsel. We shared a lavosh (sp?) bread, which is a sight to behold, all ballooned up and fabulous. (May not be traditional, but we felt it would have been wonderful with a little olive oil to dip.) Should have ordered hummus or tabouleh to eat with. The service was great...attentive but not at all pushy. The outdoor seating was great on a beautiful Florida afternoon. Fair prices for such quality food!!

We went and had a wonderful dinner with our family. Happy hour is half off wine and cocktails and had the large appetizer platter with the puff bread which was wonderful. Also had the chicken saute both with tomato and cream and everyone enjoyed with another puffy bread.

This restaurant is always packed, inside, at the bar and on the sidewalk. Serving enormous portions of good Turkish food . My advice is to go for wine and lavash with cucumber yogurt. My children favor the roast chicken shish over white rice with french fries.
Service is extremely pleasant and because there's always such a crowd it's also as fast as the kitchen will allow. Don't plan on having a deep conversation or a business meeting as the acoustics are loud.

Long time customer! Brought a guest for lunch and spent 180 dollars for a relaxing LUNCH.... yes, $180.00 for LUNCH and REQUESTED an additional a side of lamb kabab for $8.95 for the salad we purchased. We were told by the manager that I had to purchase another $12.00 salad in order the purchase the extra meat. Pure greed, no logic and no appreciation for customer service. Only 2nd time I’ve ever written a review in 25 years. We will never be back and will be sure to tell our large network of friends and business colleagues about our experience.

I travel regularly for work. I LOVE Mediterranean food so I was excited to try this "highly recommended" spot. Typical for this location and everything on Park, parking is tricky. The server was terrific (Oscar?) but the food was VERY disappointing. I ordered hummus and lentil soup. The hummus was bland, they charged me over $4 for the bread to eat it, and charged me $3.50 for a couple of teaspoons of feta cheese. The soup was equally bland. It needed so much flavor added flavor. For soup and dip, it cost over $30! Plus, the serving sizes were modest. I travel to Orlando regularly for business but definitely wouldn't return. You're paying for the ambiance and location...definitely not the food.

The bread and hummus is wonderful. The cold bean salad with grilled chicken was delicious and appropriate for hot outside Florida dining. Use your phone to see the menu. Use apply pay or give server your card ( no portable reader at table) Bring sanitizer and your own pen if you are doing this.
Great experience will do again hopefully post Covid.

We highly recommend. Very nice place. Our waitress Patricia was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us a tip about how to mix a dessert since it was our first time at the restaurant. Also the manager Nick was very friendly. There NOTHING BAD to say. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Chaz and Becky

Regardless of what your plans for the night are, Bosphorous is definitely the place you want to visit. From a nice family evening to a lovely date night, the staff WILL ensure your experience is top notch and worthy of your time and money. The best thing about visiting the restaurant is having a waiter like Derek, who has the most knowledge on the menu; that makes it really helpful when it comes to ordering and understanding what you’re about to have. Furthermore, having managers like Brian around, ensuring guest enjoyment and satisfaction really puts the cherry on the top. The bottom line is, Bosphorous is one of the best restaurants with the best staff there is in Central Florida.

Every time we go to Winter Park we have to go here. Da wife loves the big puff ball of bread and the 8-9 dipping things that come with it. You have to stab the bread to get it to deflate. I think she likes dreaming it’s me! I like the hummus and some of the eggplant but the rest I leave to her. I had a sautéed shrimp in a tomato based sauce which was fantastic. Our very helpful and knowledgeable waitress said they don’t even start on the ingredients for my dish until the order is placed. We were lucky enough to get a covered outdoor table. It kept us dry when the rain came. I thought the rain added to the experience.
Go! Give them a try!

We had lunch with friends in Bosphorous. We asked to be seated more toward the rear because it was so noisy up front. Service was OK - but food was very slow to arrive. I had a traditional salad (cucumber and tomato with no lettuce), and a bowl of lentil soup. It struck me as odd that they charge extra for feta cheese on the salad. I had salad and soup, and my wife had salad with salmon - the bill was $60 - a bit high, I thought. I asked if they had rice pudding for dessert, and they did not. Throughout the meal the noise level was very high, making conversation difficult.

This was my first time to visit this restaurant. It was amazing. The outdoor seating was comfortable and safe. Joy, our server was exceptional. She gave us a tour of the menu and was very knowledgeable. We had the lavas and humus...WOW! I had the moussaka and it was the best that I have ever eaten! My husband had the beef kebap which was prepared perfectly and was juicy and complimented by the yogurt mint sauce. Joy recommended the Turkish coffee to complete the meal...sublime!

The Bosphorous was an excellent restaurant. It is located on Park Avenue and there is inside and outside seating. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. It is such a compliment to the excellent food. The servers are willing to spend time with you and explain the dishes, and help you decide what would most appeal to you. Our server, Derek, explained the choices from the lunch menu. He was attentive and wanted us to have a good experience, we did. The happy hour is a fine value.

Joy was the name of our server, and she was just that … a joy. She could also be named sweet, conscientious, and excellent; and they would be fitting names.
Besides exemplary service, we had a delightful meal. In spite of having travelled far and wide, Mark had never eaten Turkish cuisine before. We had the white-bean salad (splurge and get the feta with it), cabbage rolls, and chicken sis kebab. We strolled around downtown Winter Park, after dinner, thinking of when we have an open evening and can return to Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine.
Next time I want one of the tempting desserts!

Yesterday we stopped at the bostorous restaurant for appetizers after shopping ..we ordered hummus, zucchini cakes, and babaganush ! The bread was amazing but the zucchini was burnt ..also the hummus had an after taste ..the eggplant was good ! We returned the zucchini and they brought out fresh ones but while it was not burnt it tasted terrible possible to the oil they used ! Definitely won’t go back

This restaurant offers high-quality food, unique choices and substantial portions along with personable service. I ordered the lamb and it was truly the best lamb I’ve ever had. There were two large shanks in a light sauce with some potatoes and vegetable. There was enough left over for another meal which I had the next day. The lamb was tender and flavorful. The waitress was friendly and helpful. She clearly is proud to work in the restaurant and makes guests feel welcomed.
