We ate here last night for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. Our very pretty server Juliette helped us with our selections and she was right on the money.
I ordered the chili/garlic dish with shrimp and beef. Wife got the Thai basil fried rice and loved it.
There were several tables under umbrellas outside so that's where we sat with our "4 legged son" and enjoyed the people watching while devouring our scrumptious dinners.
The hostess, busboy, waitress and the rest of the workers were very polite well groomed and professional.
The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was spotless.
There is an extensive menu featuring Chinese, Thai and Indian so you will have no trouble finding something you like.
Parking can be tight but there is a seldom used parking garage just around the corner.
Try and avoid the pre-teen brats skate-boarding along busy Park Avenue and you'll enjoy this chic upscale shopping district!

This place is fantastic. They have an entire menu for vegans if that’s your type of thing. The waiter was terrific - attentive and gave many suggestions for plant based options. We had yellow curry, roti and the lentil dish. The mango salad dressing on the salad was phenomenal and the flavors were all so fresh. The chef came out from the back to find out how the meal was and to let us know one of the curry’s wasn’t vegan that we initially ordered. The restaurant space itself is clean and beautiful on the inside. We chose to eat outside under the lovely artificial tree and watched people as they walked by on Park Ave. The service and food were outstanding. We will be back for sure

Rumualdo was fantastic. He made our dining experince incredible. We arrived for our 6:30 reservation but all tables were full. He went out of his way to accommodating us and created a space for us to eat outside. He couldn’t have been more helpful, sincere and honest. He was helpful with recommendations of foods to order and communicated with us on how long items take to prepare so our expectations were met and or exceeded. We ordered the mixed grill and Palak ghost dish that was basically lamb and Saag. Both were incredible ! Some naan garlic bread too. Great selection of wine and reasonable prices. The food was fresh, flavorful and nice size servings. We were blown away by Rumualdo. He was waiting in numerous tables , and giving everyone amazing customer service. Amazing food and service. definitely will go back !

We had an exceptional dinning experience this past holiday at Tabla India. The service and ambience was wonderful. The food, from the appetizers to the mango tiramisu dessert, were delectable. Although we love this type of cuisine, we informed our waiter that we prefer mild flavors, and it was just perfect! We enjoy Indian food and Tabla is definitely one of the finest we’ve been to. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Winter Park.

We placed an online take out order on New year's Eve and received n online confirmation. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times to confirm the details of the order but was unable to get through. When we arrived to pick up at the designated time they said they had never received the order.If they are going to use an online portal for ordering it should be seamless. It would be another 45 minutes to prepare the three items we ordered. My husband decided to wait and about an hour later we received our order. They were not very apologetic, The food was good, but I was shocked that the chicken kebab entree did not come with any rice. At $22.00 it should have. The gave us an extra order of samosas which were good, but not great. The sauce accompanying them was very tasty. The garlic naan was delicious. All in all, I was expecting better from them and will not go back any time soon.

Indian... Chinese... Thai. Outdoor seating was perfect, they accommodated or party of six with great personal attention. Appetizers anyone? Yes, please. We ordered four and immediately it was obvious the kitchen knows how to do this. Good wine list, some beer, no cocktails at this Winter Park location. Server is very careful to make sure the glassware and place settings were in order, based on what we were choosing from the extensive menu. Asking for suggestions is a good idea, since this is very authentic and unique cuisine. Flavors are amazing and we will definitely come back. Five stars

The service, food, value, and ambience were amazing. My waiter was extremely grateful and attentive. This was probably the best Indian food I have ever had, can't go wrong, whatever you choose on the menu is sure to make your mouth water from all the spices and flavors in every dish.

Good indian restaurant with a nice interior andgreat customer service. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We have tried the Gobi manchurian appetizer, chicken drumstick appetizer, Lamb biriyani (So good), Palak Paneer, butter chicken. We also tried a few indo-chinese options including Hakka noodles with egg and tofu, Beef and Broccoli with rice which were good. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to try Indian or Indo-chinese food.

The food was an explosion of flavors fused in each dish. The portions were generous, the price was reasonable and the service was friendly. Our waiter was Mr. Rumualdo, he made us feel welcome, he was patient as I studied the menu :) This was a completely pleasant experience. Felt very safe, which is so important these days. I will return.

First time dining here. The hostess was very unfriendly when she seated us. We felt as if we were a bother and not welcomed.
The guy who poured our water was friendly and polite. Sorry I did not get his name because he was the only saving grace to this rather painful experience.
Our server was short, unfriendly and rude. We were not offered drinks yet and he wanted to take our food order after beihg seated for less than 5 mins.
The food was a disappointment! We have had indian food around the world included from the Mother Land, and this was by far, the worst! The samosa was probably the only good thing that we had. My vindaloo was very watery and the sauce did not come together at all. No way is this "authentic" Indian cuisine.
Lets not talk about the outrageous prices! How can they justify $20 average for rather small portions!
Fool me once..shame on you! I won't be fooled again!

Thanks for your review. Our restaurant was extremely busy on the holidays and waiting times were longer than average. However, we are very sorry you were not treated the way you deserve. This experience is not what we are about as we hold ourselves to the highest customer service standards. We are working hard to improve our service and provide the best quality food. Our price increase is due to the increase in the prices of raw materials and food, which is now standard at every restaurant.

We had lunch at Tabla. The atmosphere of the courtyard dining is very nice. The was not huge. It did not offer some Indian dishes I really like and offered some non-Indian Asian dishes that should be replaced with Indian food. The service was very good and the prices were a little high but what you would expect in an area like Winter Park.

I went with friends for dinner and I really enjoyed it. I had an amazing experience dining there. I had the chicken tikka Masala and it’s so flavorful and the sauce omg… and our server did an amazing job helping us

Neither my family nor I walked out happy, everything was described as "blah" from the service to the food. The family vote was that this is not a repeat restaurant.
The questionable service started from when we walked up and were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, we said inside and the guy said it's too hot in there let's stay outside ... he sat the next table inside though. When we arrived there were 3 other tables of 3 or 4 people by the time or appetizers came out we were 1 of 2 tables, you would think that with so few tables you would get good service and not have to flag staff down for water refills.
The food and drinks were a mixed bag, the spicy guava was just juice from a can, nothing spicy and the mango lassi was made with warm yogurt and served in cold glasses?! The vegetable samosa came out really fast, before the drinks so they were either microwaved or meant for another table. For entrees the Alphonso Mango chicken and the Indo Chinese Biriyani were both tasted and most was left there. The Chicken tikka masala was good. The sweet naan was the best thing in the menu.

This is my first time coming to tabla and it was a good experience. I traveled from overseas for a vacation and decided to try this restaurant because my wife loves Indian food.. and it did not disappoint. I had the butter chicken and my wife had the tandoori chicken and it was tasty and had a lot flavors. The host and servers were great and they kept refills the waters
