It was my first time. On the menu you have four sections to choose from cheese and bread, salad, meats, and desserts. We started with the melted cheese with cut up bread and vegs and fruit . Waiter suggested I get two. It was a...total of 4 of us it was way to much and one of my party didn’t want the bread and cheese starter which came to $48 for the two melted cheeses, seconded the 4 salad where $6 each, the meats tray run between 29-30 per plate.to make along story short the food is not worth the bill 4 people cost me 221.20. I could of went to red lobster for less and had better food sorry I won’t be returning the food just wasn’t that good or worth the costMore

A return to this chain after many years….. we weren’t disappointed. It’s expensive yes, but for a memorable meal it’s terrific . There’s a good selection of cocktails and the ingredients used in the fondue seem good quality. Valentina, the waitress/ fondue queen was terrific...and i definitely think we will be back hopefully sooner than previously.More

What a great concept. We enjoyed the process of cooking our food fresh at the table. And there is so much food! Tons of options. I’m still full the next day

We made our Reservation for 6 people. Spinach artichoke and Wisconsin Cheddar was really good. Fondue for desert and yin and yang was addicting. Min course steak lovers, Pacific Rim and land and sea BRc was ok. We just didn't cook enough or over cook...sometimes. Overall experience was good, Brian the server was great too.More

This was my wife and I first time at a melting pot, and we were not disappointed, the food was fresh and our server, Valerie, was wonderful showing us the ropes, we went for the " bigger night out" option that included a little of...every thing, cocktails were good too, good prices for that style of restaurant. Four cources all nicely timed. We will be back soon. We had a little trouble locating the restaurant as it is set back from the road, but wonderful evening out.More

In honor of my husband and my first date 19yrs ago-at The Melting Pot-I made dinner reservations to go tonight for our 18th wedding anniversary. I haven’t been so let down by a restaurant in my life. First disappointment came when we were seated in...a very cramped and crowded area where the other tables were mere inches from ours. I would be more understanding of that, but for the fact that I indicated that it was our ANNIVERSARY when I made the reservation-as they were well aware-when the greeter told us happy anniversary when we came in. Second-the service was not great. I get that there was a mass exodus of servers during Covid and that may have left them short on staff, but the poor guy probably shouldn’t have brought out our cheese dish ingredients at the same time as another table’s and literally have to hold up two glasses to the light to tell one from another in order to get our mixture right, and most certainly shouldn’t have bounced from our table to the other-simultaneously making the cheese course. The cheese course suffered greatly from this foupa, as it was bitter, and horribly watery and clumpy at the same time?? How is that even possible? My husband’s vigorous stirring to try to fix it did nothing at all-bad is bad, no matter how it is stirred. Next, when the poor waiter-still trying to multitask-brought out our salads, along with the salads of the other table, he simply couldn’t figure out which ones belonged to us vs. the other table. My husband-admittedly not the most patient man-had enough, and asked for the check, and immediately got up to leave, which was probably a very good decision indeed, as the next table to be seated was a party of 7, with a very angry and loud infant-which is not the fault of the restaurant, but placing the high chair at the elbow of my husband (to be fair it was approximately 2 feet from his elbow) would’ve been a very bad idea. When someone indicates in their reservation that they are coming for an anniversary, it would’ve been nice to seat them in one of the secluded booths. And failing that, provide some level of service approaching experience. Sadly, my husband and I were so let down that our dinner was an absolute wash, the offer of the “free chocolate fondue on a future visit” not only didn’t entice me-nor did I accept such a pithy insult-but rather angered me enough to share my experience. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place, like the plague that has evidently made it what it is today.More

We have been Fondue "junkies" for over 35+ years. MP usually offers a special on Holidays such as Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve, etc, they never disappoint! This is when we take advantage of the "special" which includes a house salad, cheese fondue, a variety...of entrees including beef, lobster, shrimp, chicken served with some veggies, lots of sauces and the finale: chocolate fondue served with yummy sweets all for $50! Each person is given 3 forks which are color coded for you to cook your food. DO NOT steal anyone else's fork, they will get mad at you! Your 1st course will be the salad, then comes the nutty, melted Swiss cheese fondue highlighted with a splash of white wine. You are given a choice for your preferred cooking style, we prefer Coq Au Vin. Your Server takes care of everything including, lighting and extinguishing the burners. Be careful, it is hot. Many Fondue restaurants do NOT allow young children due to a burning risk but, I have never seen anyone burn themselves. Spear your protein, place it in the pot and let it cook. MP provides you with your own plate nestled with "compartments" for your sauces. ALWAYS, remove the item from the Fondue fork and transfer it to the plate, the tip is extremely hot and will burn your mouth. Heads up, you WILL loose an item in the pot. Don't fear MP provides you with a "safety net" to scoop out the rogue tidbit. One thinks that the quantity of food will not satisfy your hunger, do not be fooled, you will leave feeling very satisfied. Relax before the Chocolate fondue course with a glass of wine or coffee. Too full for the Dessert? No worries, MP will give you a voucher for you to return and enjoy the desert course at a future date with no expiration!!!More

This is an amazing fondue dining experience. Great place to meet friends and spend a few hours with cheese, meat, salads and chocolate. Tables/booths are secluded so restaurant is quiet and fosters nice communication at the table. The staff are very attentive and the food...tastes amazing. Will be back.More

The first thing I heard was it would take 4 hours to eat. That wasn't quite true. It was 3. In a relaxed atmosphere you get to choose fondues for appetizer, main course, and dessert. With a party of 6 we had 3 choices for...each, which allowed us to try many of the offerings. The service was attentive and friendly, and offered suggestions as to what combinations worked best. One in our party had been before, recently, and guided us as well. The food was really good. Or I should say, dipping it in the fondue with all the other things you could do was what made it good. The meats you cooked yourself, and they gave us general guidelines to help us to avoid under or overcooking. (I still overcooked a piece of duck.) When you look at the portion sizes it's easy to be underwhelmed. They seemed small. But after eating, everyone felt full to the point of being stuffed. The best part, though, is the chocolate fondues for dessert. With the pots spread out across the table, it's helpful to be on good terms with everyone, as others will help you reach and cook in the pot farthest from you (if you're sitting on an end). All in all we had a great time. One in our party ate gluten free (due to an intolerance) and was able to participate in every course. The cost is high, but when you figure you've spent 3 hours for a meal, it's understandable.More

The cheese fondues are amazing. This place has good vegetarian options with a few gluten free I believe. Great for large groups or dates. Sometimes they run specials. Expensive place.

Wood rectangular slabs and buttoned couches seat gold trimmed sandals, heels, boots, flip-flops, and sneakers. White capped mountains and firs peer through a giant wooden frame. Step off the wood tile platform into a dimly lit labyrinth of seats, compartments, and tables. Bullet shaped water...glasses are filled and refilled. Pot forks, bread and vegetables bathe in melted cheese, bourbon, garlic, and mustard seed. House, jazz electronica, and oldies music bounces upon the crowns of waiting guests. A steel pumpkin kettle cradling spicy vegetable broth sits at the center of our table. With a hum, white puffs of steam escape the metal casserole. Bullet shape water glasses are filled. Pot forks, pink morsels of meat/mushroom/potatoes boil in a body of seasoned broth. Fluorescent flames are bound by varying shells/forms, antlers, wickers, large bulbed glasses. Intimate spaces, marble tables, and black burners, are lit by wicker basket lights. The yellow light peers through slanted slots. Bullet shape water glasses are topped. Pot forks, strawberries, pineapples, and cakes are smothered in a chocolate cauldron. Bullet shaped water glasses remain and the red hue of the black burner dims. Proposed to my wife at the one in Columbus, Ohio and we have been big fans ever since. This was a Mothers Day trip with our friends and kids. Loved the atmosphere inside. Each location is always unique which is cool. They had a special...Mothers Day menu for this visit as it was Mothers Day. The staff did an awesome job making our wives feel special. the service was excellent as was the meal. Our meals included lobster, sirloin steak, fillet, shrimp and vegetables. The cheese fondue is always so yummy and can fill you up for sure if your not careful. The dessert fondue is always so so good! Chocolate as always. Looking forward to another visit!More

It had been several years since I had been to The Melting Pot. It was saved for special occasions since the food was excellent and the atmosphere upscale. First the positive: the server was very good, although the later it got, the busier he got-...too many tables for the kind of service required. The food was okay, nothing special, but the atmosphere ruined everything for me. We were seated in an alcove with 2 table, each open only on 3 sides, the other closed off. The booths were wood panel which looked like an abandoned cabin in the woods - very depressing. I will not go back to this restaurant.More
