My family took me there to celebrate my birthday last night. It was our first visit but it will not be our last. Our waiter was attentive, helpful in explaining the menu items as well as making suggestion. Our party shared two amazing appetizers. We shared the Peace salad, yummy! The entree's consisted of shrimp and grits, soft crap, Green Tea fried chicken with mac and cheese to die for and there are no words to compliment the homemade biscuit. My husband wanted to take a dozen home. For the Birthday Girl they brought a paper bag on a large cutting board with a candle placed in what looked like soft butter and some homemade strawberry jam. I was to shake the bag first. OMG! Inside were warm fresh cinnamon fried cakes with the donut holes. the 'butter' turned to be a Cream Brule type spread. The kitchen was open so my view was perfect how they all worked together gloves and masks on as well. The while experience was enjoyable making me want to go back soon. My husband is bragging about it still. Thanks District Table & Bar for the final curtain to my 74th birthday. See you soon! P,S, We had a fine dining experience with more than fair prices.

Driving by the District catches your eye because it looks so different than any restaurant around that area, almost like a fishbowl but very hip and current! Cool brick and lighting background, very nice bar, both in and outside seating make it very inviting. The menu is a spin on several favorites and unique items like Street Corn as an appetizer, not on the cob but shucked and mixed w/ amazing ingredients. We would not have thought to try it if it were not for Chris (with a "C-H" as he said), he described it perfectly! Our kids both got the sweet tea fried Chicken, sounds strange but again Chris described it so well and the chicken was tender and juicy with a crunchy outside and not greasy at all. At the time they were out of the biscuits so Chris supplemented a chocolate malt which completed the meal 100% (My kids are 19 and 22 by the way, lol but still love a good chocolate milkshake!). My husband and I split smoked wings and pizza which were both tasty, a real smokieness to the wings which made them original. All and all the District was refreshing and to have a waiter as attentive as Chris was made it all the better. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

Reading reviews I would not have gone except we received a gift card. Very glad we did. Other then being noisy in the main room., a perfect meal. We split a Tuna Crudo app. Excellent! I ordered Chiefs Pie. It was good, except I wasn’t in the mood for bursara - everything else was very good I think we will return and I will order the tuna all for me, and the ceviche ...maybe another app. The tuna was very flavorful...awesome Wife ordered District Chicken..,cook perfect and very very tasty. The food is a bit pricy, but the flavors, presentation, and simply cooked perfect is worth it We usually don’t recommend anyplace as highly as this.

Drinks came in 3 minutes, bread in 40 and then dinner in 60 minutes from order. Busy Tuesday night but nobody outside as it was in the 50's. When searching out the manager, he was snippy and no apology for the length or reasons other than busy. Waitress never came by to give us an update or ask if we wanted more to drink. Food was worth the wait but maybe try it again in another year and warm people, don't go in at 7PM and be hungry...

My husband and I planned a date which we seldomly do. For starters we tried to contact The District Table and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. We got the restaurant and waited for about 30 minutes to get seated. We sat in the most uncomfortable booth in the vault. The booth seat was so low, it almost felt like we were on the floor. We ordered the smoked dip appetizer, with the homemade saltine crackers. The crackers had so much salt on them, that we had to eat the fish dip without the crackers. We ordered dinner, the waitress told me I couldn't get my steak cooked medium well because it would make it to chewy. My steak came out BLOOD RED and the taste was awful. Gravy or some brown sauce was poured over it that was so gross. My husband ordered fish, and he got a piece of fish that was in a pea green sauce. Everything we had tasted AWFUL. We barely made it home and both of us bee-lined to the bathroom. Most awful and expensive date night experience ever. It is a very over priced place to eat.

My husband wanted to try District Table. Unfortunately, we did tonight. The menu is limited and the place is very noisy. I had the Prime Terres Major which turned out to be chunks of rubbery steak served smothered in a horrible sauce with weirdly seasoned French fries. Inedible. Horrible flavors. The creamed spinach was the best thing on the plate. My husband had the burger for $23 and it was a tiny burger served with fries and a miniature “chocolate malt” which was heavily seasoned with nutmeg. Yuk! The servers were friendly and the wine was half price on Wednesday, but never again. There are too many good restaurants in the area.

This review comes in a difficult moment for the hospitality industry and I have decided to write it because I believe you should think twice before helping a business which is treating its costumers the way they do. A potential costumer called the restaurant to place a take out order. They were difficult and unfriendly over the phone, therefore she decided to call her delivery company and place a take out order with them, When the driver arrived, they had an attitude and sent the manager to talk to him, she was INCREDIBLY rude and unfriendly saying that she was NOT doing business with that delivery company and that their credit card was not going to work. The manager took the order with a very unfriendly mood and highlighted that it would have taken close to an hour to be ready! Came back and said that the cc did not work. FYI the driver's cc was working fine all day and worked in other 4 restaurants after this one. What a terrible terrible attitude and unhelpful service in a time where a restaurateur should just be grateful and give a big THANK YOU for every order no matter how big or small. We are visiting and interacting with several restaurants daily and their behavior is professional and welcoming and thankful. They will still fighting for survival. Good luck to this one to get back in regular business after their attitude towards potential loyal customers!

Terrible dinner at District tonight. So disappointed as the menu reads beautifully and dinners out are so rare these past few months and so you are hoping for a treat. Ordered the octopus entree, expecting something savory with medallion shaped slices of octopus as described, and got some sort of cold, finely chopped dish that looked like ceviche, but was so salty it was inedible and was sent back. The mussels were about the size and texture of raisins, so that was disappointing too, although the (minimal 1/2 cup of) broth served with it was tasty, as was the sausage. We told the waiter when we arrived that we wanted the soufflé (which on past visits was excellent), but he never returned to our table to take the order until 10 minutes after our meals had been cleared, so we didn’t order it. The (replacement) shrimp pie was good, but we brought that home because it arrived so late in the meal. Peach salad with cheese, nuts (pistachios?) and arugula was good, but nothing you can’t make at home. $97 later very disappointed in food and service. Won’t be back.

Terrible experience!! Way over priced, Well over $400 for 6 people. Food was horrible! Steak was tough, burgers greasy total let down. Service was an atrocity! Meals forgotten and staggered, drinks forgotten, if our waitress came by once to refill drinks it was a lot! Worst yet, no social distancing whatsoever! People were crammed in on all sides of us maybe 2 ft away! Way way over 50% capacity! Avoid this place like the plague!!

Really was fantastic. From the food, craft drinks to the service. Started with Wahoo fish dip and sweat corn. Then tried snapper, wahoo (which was sushi), sweat tea fried chicken and flounder. ALL were excellent and presentation was great but taste and sauces were better! Finished with the buttermilk pie and soufflé. To top all off, they had live person singing outside that was really nice and not too loud.

We had been to District previously and sat inside to dine. It was a great meal and so we wanted to take foodie family there when they came to visit at Christmas - but we agreed that we needed to sit outside to enjoy the wonderful weather, but also to be able to hear each other to catch up. My daughter booked an outside table 2 months in advance for the day after Christmas. A week before Christmas she was told that her reservation needed to be moved as they had decided to close for the Christmas weekend. Luckily we were flexible in our schedule and so reorganized and went another day. When we arrived early for pre-dinner drinks, my daughter confirmed that we had an outside reservation. All good...or so we thought. When we went to be seated at our reserved time it was an indoor table and quite close to the open kitchen. TOO LOUD! We asked to be outside, as we had reserved and confirmed, and were told by the 2 young hostesses (who didn't seem to care) it would be an additional 40 minute wait. ...we sat inside... The meal was good, the service was OK, but we did not have the experience that we had hoped for. Not sure that we'll go back - it wasn't that good for the prices they charge.

Invited friends that we had taken to the old location a couple years ago. Then, we were all wowed by he food. Not so much this time. We all tried the street corn which had a lingering aftertaste that was not pleasant. Our friends got stone crabs that they liked. I’ve had so many not so good stone crabs I’ve stopped ordering them. Then we waited. And waited. Our server came by several times to offer more drinks, but no food came. When the food was finally served Our lifetime friends who can’t stop talking about great food ate in silence. The wife pecked at her dish, ate about a third of it and did not ask for a take home for the rest. My fried chicken was a generous serving, perfectly done and delicious. The accompanying items were awful. The buttermilk biscuit was cold and hard as a rock. The “worlds best Mac & cheese” was cold. I took home half the chicken, the biscuit and the mac&cheese. Microwaved the biscuit and it was delicious. Same for the Mac & cheese. Heated the chicken in the toaster oven and it was excellent. All it needed was proper preparation. We all had dessert and drinks. They were OK. The consensus was not worth the cost. We sat outside, asked to be seated as far away from the overly amplified musician as possible, but he dominated the evening with accompaniment from a constant roar of traffic going by. Never again. There are way too many good eateries in the area to ever do this again.

The District has become a go to restaurant for our close group of friends when we are in town. The food and service are well worth the 30 minute drive up from Jupiter. We especially enjoy the fish dip, street corn, shrimp and grits, and District chicken. Looking forward to our next trip
