Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little hole in the wall Italian with great ambiance. Everything is great. The salads are just right with a sweet, balsamic vinegarette. The bread provides a way to get every drop of the dressing. My lasagna was just the way I like it. My...wife's go to is chicken parm. Again spot on. Prices are quite reasonable .More

I struggle to find good Italian food in Florida, so this restaurant attached to the Old Colorado Inn where I was staying was a delightful discovery. The bread was outstanding, the chicken parm dinner was above average, and the romantic setting left me wishing my...wife had been able to join me.More

This was our 2nd visit here. We made a 7pm reservation and arrived 7 minutes early. The place was pretty empty. The hostess wasn’t prepared and didn’t expect us at 7pm and told us there will be a wait. I would imagine there was a...staffing shortage here as well as poor training. When you’re sitting waiting for customers killing time the hostess should be looking ahead to see who will be arriving and perhaps remember that the guest arriving will be Mr. Jones and Mrs. Smith for example as well having a table ready to seat them when they arrive. There were other guests ahead of us that we told there would be a 30 minute wait. You didn’t ruin my wife’s birthday celebration since there are numerous restaurants in the area that would warmly welcome us.More

We had dinner before a show at the Lyric and it couldn't have been better. Service is outstanding and the salad that comes with the dinner is delicious. Lovely restaurant with a romantic vibe.

You won't find any better Italian dining in southern Florida. My wife and I ordered the appitizer Fried Calamari that was prepared perfectly. It was very tender, tastey and not chewy. The Tuscan Veal I ordered as my main course was very good. My wife...ordered the Egg Plant which she enjoyed. What makes the 18 Seminole Street special is the ambience. The dinning room has only a few tables that are covered with white table clothes and with water glasses set for each place setting. The room is very quiet which allowed my wife and I to converse without raising our voice. The service was also outstanding. The owner waiter was very attentive and did not rush us. He did not bring our salads until we were finished with out appitizer.More

My wife and I had dinner recently at 18 Seminole with another couple and it was just terrific! The restaurant is a charming "Old Florida" house with a wonderful feel and ambience. Our meals were expertly prepared and beautifullhy plated -- and delicious, too! The...corkage fee was quite modest and the prices were very reasonable. Our server was personable and attentive. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be returning!More

Phenomenal!! Excellent experience from beginning to end. We dined outside in the "garden" and found it to be reasonably quiet, beautiful, and the tables were well spaced. Our server, Rose, exceeded our expectations in every way. She is a consumate professional and a vital element...who enhanced our experience immensely. The food was as good as any we have ever tasted. My wife and I enjoyed a Meatball appetizer, Blue Mussells, Salad (!!!), and Veal Sorrentino ( OMG! ). The Owner/Chef came to chat with us at the end of our evening and he is charming and very well spoken, in addition to being quite handsome. (My wife was smitten) Overall, one of the nicest evenings we have enjoyed while dining out. We whole heartedly give 18 our highest recommendation.More

We and our guests enjoyed a variety of menu offerings. The service was also excellent. However the main dining room was very, very loud caused mainly by a party of six on the other side of the room. We will go again and sit outside.

Loved our dinner here, we sat outdoors and the ambience was lovely. Service could not have been better, and the food was delicious - as good as anything I've eaten in Italy. Reservations are a good idea, this place is small and intimate. Just lovely.

This smaller restaurant is outstanding (suggest to make reservations). The service was timely: not too quick and not too slow (perfect timing by wait staff). The home made meatball appetizer was outstanding and can be shared by two. Will definitely go back.

One of our regular stops during the season. Again did not disappoint. From start to finish, everything was great. My wife's chicken parm was tasty and well prepared. My chefs special shrimp was tasty. Desert finished everything. The Canali ended a delightful night.

This is a small restaurant in downtown Stuart. The food is excellent and the prices more than fair. I had the meatball appetizer and it was big enough for a main dish and delicious. The sauce was great.
