We were taken here while visiting friends in Stuart. This place is a hole in the wall, with an attempt at a kind of nautical decor. Most of the seating is at the bar, with a few basic tables. If you don't make a reservation you probably won't get a table. We didn't, so we sat at the bar. But that was fortunate. We got to interact with the very personable and helpful barmaid, who made great suggestions on food, and offered samples of the beers on tap to help us make our selections. She also took photos of us and when we brought out some cupcakes for our double birthday celebration she got a tea candle for the birthday guys to blow out. But if you go here, don't go expecting a posh place, and anyway, who cares about furniture or decor? There may be times I go to a restaurant for the fancy trappings, but in the end it is all about the food . And at Crabby's, go for the food. The fish dip surrounded by sliced fresh tomatoes and jalapenos and the red shrimp were great appetizers. The seafood we all got for our entrees was fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. So for a casual evening with good food and good company, this place fills the bill.

No question, the best crab bisque in the planet! I am on a Keto based diet. Chomped at the bit for a wine, but held back The crab bisque, oyster stew and frankly the house salad were a spectacular dinner during my attempt to lose over 70 lbs in 2020. The soups had their share of butter in them, no potatoes, only crab and oysters in cream based stews, fantastic taste each! The oysters melted in my mouth! no, for a house salad, my favorites, Romaine lettuce chopped up, tomatoes cubed up, red onions and cucumbers, blue cheese, why not I lost 16 lbs in 18 days at that point! Now normally I would have had their Dungeness crabs and the crab bisque, but the soup, stew and salad filled me up and left an amazing after taste! The singer was as good as it gets for local talent. He would have been a hit in Gatlinburg where I volunteer in August at the Smoky Mountain song writers music festival. My guests were from Gatlinburg and they flipped out at their shrimp and the crab bisque! And of course at the singer!

After reading the reviews for this restaurant my wife and I decided to try it during a weekend visit to the area. We were not disappointed! Their Crab Chowder was filled with a mix of shredded and chunks of crabmeat. The seasoning was excellent making it flavorful but not overpowering the crab itself. The King Crab Legs order was comprised of three legs. They were obviously very fresh and served with the perfect amount of melted butter. The Sea Scallops could be ordered many ways but I ordered fried. When asked about their size the server let me know they were a little smaller than usual but definitely Sea, not tiny Bay Scallops. The scallops were a good size with light breading. Not quite as good as I was hoping (a little bland) but still tasty and tender. The tarter sauce was homemade! Their Fries are the larger Steak Fries. Leave room for dessert as you must try the Key Lime Pie. It is locally made and is the “real deal”! Not a fake green color. A little sweet and tart at the same time. An excellent way to finish a delicious meal. The place itself is fairly small, nothing fancy, and appears to attract locals. It has a comfortable vibe. The service is just right. Although our server didn’t come to the table too often, I noticed that she kept a close eye on how we were doing The prices were a little higher than what you’d expect for a small, down home type restaurant. But not out of line for the quality and freshness of the food. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area! Even if you’re not too close, it’s worth a drive!

Went with the family for Father’s Day lunch. First impression as you pull up may steer you to keep on driving but glad I didn’t. We are a family of five and everything we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful. We definitely will be back.

First off let me say that we have been to getting crabby a few times before and we loved it. The food was good the service was good. My girlfriend is having a major medical procedure in a couple of days so we figured we needed to do something special to take her mind off of it, so we decided to spend this occasion at getting crabby having crab. The only seats were at the bar and that was ok. We asked about king crab legs and the bartender first response was those are very expensive, almost saying he thinks it’s too expensive for our wallets, which we thought was odd, but didn’t think much of it. I ordered a Mango beer and the keg tapped out halfway through so the beer was half foam half beer, the bartender says this one’s on me sorry about that and I had no problem at all drinking it. We ordered the king crab legs which we were told were somewhere between 1-2 lbs and the dungeonous crab. When the crab came the king crab was 2 legs(see photo). We felt like we were getting ripped off and politely sent it back. The bartender immediately asked if we wanted him to take it off the tab as if we wanted a free meal out of it. He never asked if there was anything else we wanted to order, explained that each leg was half a pound, and then wouldn’t even make eye contact with us. At some point we asked the nice couple next to us what they thought and they couldn’t agree more. I asked them what they would do if they were us and he said “honestly I’m really glad we’re not you guys, this is bad send it back, good luck” From the moment we walked in we felt like this guy thought we were trying to get free food or something, it was the most bizarre and least enjoyable dining experience ever for me. And to top it off the guy charged me for the glass of Mango foam beer he said he wasn’t going to charge me for. I felt like he wanted to test me to see if I'd ask him to take it off but we didn't. We paid and STILL tipped him 20%. I felt so uncomfortable and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. We went across the street to twisted tuna and enjoyed a nice meal in a much cleaner place.

We loved this place. It’s been taken over by an owner who doesn’t care what his customers like. The Royal Red shrimp app was amazing because the shrimp were clean & deveined. Now they’re not & they’re disgusting! When we said something to the owner, he replied the poop vein gives it more flavor! Not a good answer. I’m pretty sure they’re going to see a decrease in their sales of the shrimp. We love the staff but the new owner not so much! Downfall of a good restaurant…

This is the third time we've gone to this restaurant. The place needs to be seriously renovated. 6 overcooked medium sized shrimp on a plate. Cole Slaw with extra bland flavor. Mahi Mahi sandwich on a McDonald's bun that constantly fell apart. The place was pretty empty, but Slow deliver lunch.

We always go here when visiting family since the food is always delicious, as it was this evening. I typically get the fish of the day and it never disappoints. They also have another fish special that is topped with crab meat that is my personal favorite - so far their buttery crab meat seems to go with any fish. I have yet to order just crab but everyone else loves it. I could eat the Royal Red shrimp they often have as an appetizer special everyday - just incredibly sweet and wonderfully flavored. Desserts are excellent as well so leave room - I highly recommend the warm rum cake!

There is a great Mahi sandwich in Salerno... at Pirates Cove. The one I just had here was a decent portion, but nothing else about it was enjoyable. The bun was, at best, on sale at ALDI for being too old to keep on the shelf. The fries that came with it can only be described as refried a dozen times in dirty lard. They were the absolute most disgusting fries I have ever seen. They varied in blackness, as if more were added at different times to remove some of the color from the black lard substance they were cooked in. I will not return, ever! At least the sandwich was a whole dollar less than the excellent one around the block.

The food was good. We sat at the bar as they are quite busy. Interestingly they do not serve coffee, before, after or with a meal. The owner noted that people linger to long with coffee so they stopped serving it to move people along. It is a small restaurant. We enjoyed it.

I’m not sure if this restaurant is affiliated with the one in Reading Pennsylvania but I had lunch at the Reading PA location and it’s the most racist restaurant I’ve ever been it , their racism is blatant and boldly disgusting, today was my first and last time walking through those doors, hate is the backbone of the problems of this world today, but I never expected it in a place like this , and the manager is ge promoter of the racism, I’ve tried numerous times to reach out to the owner of the restaurant, I was told that he owns the Florida location as well as the PA location, I’ve been to hundreds and hundreds of seafood restaurants but I’ve never experienced bias like this , I even called the manager from the parking lot and he said my kind ain’t welcomed as he hung up in my ear, the food was as bad as the manager, basically a greasy spoon, the boom boom shrimp were chewy like chewing gum, way overcooked, they advertise that chips come with sandwiches, we never saw them , and the restaurant was completely empty at noon when we arrived and the unfriendly waiter sat us damn near in the bathroom, this place is a undercover racist barn house , I’m sure they’ve been doing this forever because no way this just started today, I also filed a complaint with 2 agencies. I’ll never go back ever. The only thing that the manager was missing was his white sheet over his head.

We used to love this place. Food was always good and fresh. Went the other night for a birthday dinner. Conch fritters were undercooked and someone in our party got sick that night. Cracked conch was good but tiny little pieces so mostly breading. Crab bisque lacked in flavor and was watered down. Used to be my favorite! The fish dishes were good but nothing special. Not sure what happened but the place now has a terrible odor sand does not appear to be clean. Always was a dive but at least it was a clean dive. DO BETTER!

Food here is awesome! Ambiance is basic Florida dive bar which only adds to the overall experience. Group of 8 all had different meals and all were judged to be excellent. Crab cakes, cracked conch, fish of the day, snow crab legs, etc. Worth a visit!

If you’re looking for an authentic Florida crab shack this is it! The Deep Drop shrimp are simply the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The fish is fresh and not deep-fried like in most places. Nothing but praise
