Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was told by the bartender she didn’t want an open tab and that we could pay at the bar and gave a server . One server came up to us and asked if we were just having drinks and I relied “ yes for now...“ and she never ever came back . No menu . An hour goes by and not one single person asks is if we need a menu or want another drinks . Happy Labor Day . Worst service ever . If you want decent service go to the bar and sitMore

This spot is nice for a casual meal or drinks. The food is good, service is courteous and friendly, however very casual. The outside tables are best to enjoy the view of the water and boats. Enjoyed the Jumbo Sea Scallops, very tasty however there...was nothing jumbo about them so don't be fooled by the description. The Key Lime Pie was delicious as was their Bloody Mary.More

The 16 Chicken Wings order is only 14 wings… just ask why and you’ll get a blank stare and a robotic response of “we will make you 2 more if you want. It’s 26 dollars for an order of 16 but excuse me for counting....The Chicken Avocado Wrap has NO AVOCADO IN IT and that’s just business as usual according to the server. Average quality food and average service. Nice view in the daylight and that’s about all this place good for.More

DJ is a great idea. Cover bands never are as good as original music. We always went to the Lounge previously for classic rock and other classic dance music so thought we'd try the new Club Safari. Expected much of the same kind of music...we and everyone else always enjoy dancing to (Stones, ZZ Top, Doors, Stevie Wonder, AC-DC, Alabama, Kid Rock, Santana, Joan Jett, other classic rock, along with some classic Reggae, classic Funk, classic motown, classic disco etc- i.e mainly 70's 80's) - as Pirates advertised would be played at Club Safari. Unfortunately, we waited through the whole first set, played way too loud, and heard nothing we recognized, and no classic rock. There was a mix of ages there but the DJ was definitely playing to the younger crowd. I've noticed that most DJ's seem to play newer style music meant for the younger generation- I guess because they think it's hipper and they tend to be younger themselves -which is why we never really bother with places that have DJ's. So we left Club Safari, our ears ringing, and went over to Twisted Tuna who had a band that was playing all the classic music everyone seems to love best- and the mixed crowd there was mostly younger people enjoying that music. There was a mix of ages there but the DJ was definitely playing to the younger crowd. Maybe if they hire a different DJ, or if the same DJ plays mostly classic rock (not so damn loud), we would enjoy Pirates Loft (Club Safari) again as much, or more, than we and many others have for years. Most venues around the area do play classic rock for a good reason- because all ages love it- but Pirates is unique in that the lounge, with it's large dance floor and lighting turned down low, was just about the only venue around that was conducive to put people into a dancing mood (to classic rock). Anyway, I hope Club Safari will start to cater much more towards those who love to dance to classic rock.More

I have eaten here many times. Sometimes we drive, sometimes by boat. I can't say much about the other items on the menu because whenever we go EVERYONE but the kiddies orders the tacos. Shrimp, Mahi, Grouper!! All are excellent. I'm betting the rest of...the fare is superb.More

My husband & I went one Friday at Noon and then two weeks later we went with four others. It was very good both times. We sat at the tables facing the marina, upstairs loft and undercover yet open to the water and breezes. The...second time we went on a Sunday at 1:30, 2-20-22, which is the height of the season in South Florida. We still got a lovely table overlooking the marina. We shared appetizers of conch fritters (excellent) and guacamole and chips and fish dip with crackers. The guac wasn’t as flavorful as it was the first time, but it was still good. All our main meals were very good: grilled shrimp on a large, mixed salad, mahi reuben (so excellent), French dip, a burger with bleu cheese crumbles that looked delicious and fried shrimp. After dinner we walked around the docks looking at the boats and watching the charter boats come in and clean their fresh catches. Then we joined many others at the ground level Tiki Bar, also facing the marina. Casual and friendly, just like the restaurant upstairs. We liked the singer-guitar player-flautist who was on the deck outside the Tiki bar. We sat at a table and enjoyed our drinks and some tempura shrimp and French fries. The shrimp were large, but a little greasy. We enjoyed the little gift shop next to the Tiki Bar. Bought a shirt and a child’s book. Really my only complaint, both times, was the music in the restaurant dining room. It’s a little too loud and a little too hard rock for me. Our servers, Brenda on first visit and Christy on second, were both excellent. Mel was a very friendly hostess. We live here in Stuart and definitely plan to return very soon.More

This was a good place to go eat, relax and have a few drinks. The staff is good, but seems to be headed in the wrong direction. Some of the older faces are great and know how to treat the guest, but they seem to...be disappearing. Food has gone DOWNHILL lately and seems so has management. I went to breakfast here last Sunday and they seemed lost. It really is a shame...nice looking place though.More

I am a member of the Freedom Boat Club, and use the Pirate's Cover location frequently. We always plan to go to the restaurant for happy hour, and love the mussels with red sauce and the calamari. I also enjoy the mahi sandwich quite frequently....A hidden gem, with an amazing location, and an Old Florida charm.More

They served Tilapia as Grouper on a $31 meal. Be careful. This place is ripping people off. Manager said ‘that is grouper’. He either never saw a piece of grouper before the r he’s lying so the restaurant can continue to make $$$ for tilapia.

Lunch with my wife and my brother. Perfect day and excellent food and service. The Mahi bites are terrific and the fried shrimp were some of the best I've ever had. All covid protocols in place. Could not have been nicer.

I've been going to this restaurant for year and have always loved it. Took my elderly mom for lunch a few months ago and left because none of the staff were wearing masks. My moms 83rd birthday was today and I called for a reservation...outside for 6 of us, which I received and I asked if staff would be wearing masks and was told yes. When we arrived, we were brough out into the bar for outside seating. Our table was not set up and not washed. NO server was wearing a mask. If I wasn't waiting for our other guests to arrive, I would have left. I stayed with my 83 yr old mom and her 88 old sister against my gut. We should have left immediately. Food was mostly ok, I ordered a ceasar salad which was inedible due to the amount of drowning salad dressing. Drinks took forever to receive, had to ask numerous times for silverware. Overall, Not inexpensive either. When we left, my husband and I decided we will NEVER return. Not one person cared about us or our health. So, so disappointed that we lost a "go to" stop.More

My husband and I came in for lunch the other day, almost fell off my chair when I got the bill. $130 includes tip is a little steep for lunch. Not sure we can afford you guys anymore, and we love it there. We joined...the boat club there and we like to enjoy the pool and have lunch there after our tour. Our lunch was 7 drinks, a pizza and the roast pork dip (my fav.). Tito's and water, and they were like drinking water. If you are going to charge $8 for a drink, put some liquor in it. I asked the bartender to pour a little splash in one cause it tasted like water, and she charged me $4 for it. Also my side of broccoli tasted like fish, which is very strange. Had to spit it out.More
