Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food. My husband and I went in for lunch. The food was fresh and excellent. We ordered guacamole dip that was made at our table.

So disappointed. Not sure what is going on, maybe new ownership? This is not the Rancho Chico we have known and loved since their opening. From entry to exit this was a bad experience. Terrible, hateful server. Did not listen to us, no refills on...soft drinks not a stop by to ask if we wanted another beer or margarita. Food terrible and scantily served. Two of us had burritos. One super with ground beef, the other was a steak fajita burrito. The ground beef was more like dog food and barely warm. All other meals were served hot. Steak burrito had 3 bites of steak, not kidding. Both burritos bland and contained more rice than anything else. Neither was served with rice and beans on the side like the menu description or like the 1000 other times we’ve ordered in the past. The steak fajitas (meal) was more like vegetable fajitas with 3 oz. Of steak at best. Plus had to ask for the tortilla roll ups. We tried to speak to the male server but he simply nodded and walked away. Definitely wont be back.More

Excellent concept however they placed three margaritas in a plastic bag with no support on the bottom and send them out for delivery that way. On three separate occasions the drinks opened up in the bag and I was out 30 semi dollars for the...alcohol as well as the meal which that drenched. Would not recommend a repeatMore

Food is okay. Location is good. Service is the worst. Our waitress was extremely slow and forgetful. Asked twice what I wanted to drink after taking the order. We order guacamole, after she made it, we asked for chips to eat it with and ended...up having to ask someone else because she never brought them. Also, never asked if we wanted drink refills. Lastly, when we asked for the check and paid, she didn't even said thank you. People like that should not be working with public and create a bad reflection on businesses.More

We just felt like Mexican. The salsa was mild like we prefer, but the chips were bland and without a crunch. The main courses (Steak fajitas And mole) were unremarkable - plenty of onions but not much steak. The flan dessert needed lots of whipped...cream to cut the sweetness. And to top it all off, the service was lacking. The waiters spent more time with takeout orders than with in-house diners. Overall, a disappointing evening.More

Rancho Chico is our favorite restaurant in Stuart. We love their food and during corona virus situation were regularly buying take outs. Yesterday as restaurants start opening in out town we decided to visit our favorite place. It end up total disaster. 1. Phone to...restaurant was disconnected and we couldn't order by phone. Upon arriving we found out that many people were complaining about the same. 2. Restaurant were serving at about 50% of tables, every other table was open and bar was packed. By law they should only have 25% open. 3. We ordered to take food out and were told that waiting time was 15 minutes. 4. We were waiting in small lobby with another 40 of 50 people packed shoulder to shoulder. 5. After waiting for one hour we asked for manager. It looked as he was busy waiting tables and absolutely not able to handle his job. We were told to go home without our already paid food and come back next day. Manager was unpleasant and not willing or unable to manage whole situation. 6. They could set small table outside and take orders there as well as set number of chairs for waiting customers, but manager failed. 7. We could call police and report very unhealthy situation but as this is our favorite place and we don't want them to pay heavy fine in this hard time for all of us time we let it pass. 8. Manager should be retrained, he is to manage and not wait tables. He failed badly.More

We thought the food was OK. Atmosphere nice. Not particularly tasty. The menu said 'spanish enchiladas' but did not say what was in it. Maybe it was spanish onions? Another had burito rellino which was good. Not bad but not great either.

My wife and I enjoy Mexican Food and often visit several Mexican Restaurants in the area. We think that Rancho Chico is one of the best in the area. After consuming a large basked of very good Chips and Salsa I ordered a Chicken Fajita...dinner. My wife ordered the sampler. When the dinners were delivered my was sizzling hot and delicious. My wife stated that her Sampler was also delicious. We both finished off the meal with an order of Fried Ice Cream. This restaurant is very clean and very well maintained. The people who work here are all friendly and polite. The Food is Great, the Service is Great and the Prices are Great. I highly recommend.More

Love Rancho Chico. Never disappoints. Fantastic margaritas. The carne asada is fantastic. The superburrito feeds two! The fajitas are excellent. So are the tacos and enchiladas. Everyone in any group will be please and enjoy the meal. A guaranteed good meal at a reasonable price!

Great Mexican food. We have been coming to this restaurant for years. Love the top shelf margaritas on the rocks. Salsa is excellent. My wife really enjoys the seafood chimichanga. I myself love the fried ice cream and fajitas. Best Mexican restaurant in town.

Went in somewhat late and the place was mostly empty. But the staff was attentive and the food was good. Will go back to sample some other items from their extensive menu.

The margarita was very tasty, one of the better ones I have had. The food was very good and plentiful. The restaurant was pretty crowded even on a Tuesday and as a result the noise level was rather loud which detracted from the experience.

We visited on Valentine’s Day. We were seated quickly and the server was quick to deliver chips and salsa. Be sure to ask for either spicy or mild as they automatically bring spicy. It was very good but hot! The chips were ok but a...little too thick for my liking. We ordered a full order of chicken and rice with the chipotle sauce on the side. I say full because you can order a half order. We advised the waiter we were splitting the platter. When it arrived we were surprised at how small the portions were! We thought perhaps they accidentally gave us a half order but when we asked we were told it was a full order. I am a small eater and I could have easily finished the whole plate and still eaten more. We also ordered flan. It was just ok. It actually was too heavy. We do plan on going back and trying the restaurant again. We hope it was just an off night. The service was fast and friendly and the establishment was clean and well appointed.More
